I actually stopped playing MTG for almost two years now Its well over two years since I last looked at this app I kept this app on my phone because it was the most useful database out of all the MTG related apps out there The last time I recall using this app it was a bit bland and a bit slow I just decided to take a peek at it today after the update and am surprised how smooth it feels scrolling through everything Information is still tight informative Looks like lots of new stuff to read I dont live near my friends who I used to play with and dont have much interests to join a club If I do play it I may go digital but its not the same as playing and socializing with friends in person Either way this app looks amazing and if you need to understand the rules like I did several years ago then this is a must have app Im still going to keep it and read some of the info from it once in a while just out of curiosity                 What an improved app now

This is the best MtG apps Ive had the pleasure of using On more than one occasion its helped resolve disputes between fellow players regarding rulings of different card interactions By far its the most comprehensive utility save from asking an actual MtG judge Keep up the good work One thing I would like to be able to do is to search through cards by blocks If that could be achieved that would make it easier than trying to use Gatherer                 Great app

Because of this app Im the goto rule guy in our group The searchable indepth rulings are just awesome Best Magic app out there and well worth the money This app has helped me out of every sticky rules situation Ive ever been in If you play any amount of tournamentlevel magic you should own this app its just that great And the developer listens to complaints and actually FIXES them The app is smooth small and incredibly wellbuilt Worth every penny and then some                 Best Rules App out there period

All the tools are here a judge could need IPG MTR and comp rules Plus gatherer and a great deck counting tool My only suggestion would be the ability bookmark certain sections of the rules guides Then it gets 5 starts              Great app

Casual player here who noticed a lot of the reviews are rules focused and probably from judges or store owners As an EDH player who needs oracle listings to work out the occasional dispute among friends this data is invaluable but I wanted to give it a few more plugs than that Its the only app Ive found thats optimized for iPhone 6 and 6 Im a 6 user myself and its a huge pet peeve of mine to see blown up text in neglected apps so that went a long way in selling me Additionally the app has a very well laid out and focused display that gets you the data you need quickly and easily It does not need a data connection to access the database which is a godsend for rural Magic players And the app is exceptionally well maintained and updated in a timely manner for each new set and update to the rules Definitely worth a purchase if you arent satisfied by any of the free options which are typically full of in app purchases anyways                 Not just for judges

L2 Ive been using this app for as long as I can remember and its the first thing I recommend to players and newly certified judges who find themselves needing a reference tool Having this at hand makes it a breeze to give players Oracle text of cards at events and to quickly look up policy and CR information to explain a rule or ruling to someone                 Handy as a player invaluable as a judge
