Well supported over the years additional IAP packs at very reasonable prices and now wonderful with this dev s other apps automagically in sync thru Ableton Link Highly recommended Very nice drum machine AndreXuxu
Very nice app Very good sounds and a lot of midi settings to customize input and output The step sequencer is very easy to use Excellent sounds and easy to use Nick45689143

Hi can you please fix the midi in so it works with Thesys And is there a way for Mo Drum to control Beatmaker 2 and FL Studio s Drum Kits Great patterns in Mo Drum The synth engine for the drums is very lacking try to make hardstyle but I want to apply the numerous patterns to nicely sampled kits supra Also would be nice to add individual samples for the instruments in mo drum That would be awesome Bongra s Hardcore sample from Noisepad comes to mind The synth engine here in Mo Drum just doesn t sound good even for simple hi hats Has the most patterns Needs midi in fix Greg Sletteland
OK when Mo sees some reviews he is like Say WHAT This is a great drum machine and it is different from many of the rest but the terms HORRIBLE or WANNABE had never crossed my mind for a description The samples are GOOD and there is probably a lot of things I haven t even discovered yet but this is to me a great rhythm app How can this even be wannabe ANYTHING DUDE when it came out in 2011 Almost was the beginning of the PRO sounding RESPONSIVE useable WOW app instrument era we are in now As any search will reveal there s a lot of drum apps out there This one is COOL thank you for your hard work making it How is this horrible OR wannabe Mo Freeapps
Do not waste your hard earned dough on this turkey Go for DM1 or even IMPC This is just a wannabe Horrible App DOIT!!!
i like MoDrum a whole lot it s got character and very usable potential Is it the be all end all iOS drum machine no is it worth having and capable of some great beats yes it s limitations feel creative as opposed to just limiting and i d love to see this app evolve for now just 3 wishlist features 1 the volume level sliders seem to go from zero to about fifteen then smoothly up to one hundred so it s difficult to get really low volume settings on the sounds 2 it d be fantastic if the tuning on the drums the toms especially went higher and lower for more variation 3 not a deal breaker at all but true incremental swing degree would be really nice to have as opposed to the fixed settings though said fixed settings are very useful and i m thankful that they re there those said i do love MoDrum and if you re like me you ll find this a totally worthwhile addition to your beat making Apps ps Thank You developer s for the Audiobus support Add MoDrum To Your Collection NoUserErrorHere!
Not much here as far as changing the sounds of the drums goes So much for being a drum synth Some much better apps out there id suggest buying impaktor or dm 1 over this or even easy beats would be money better spent Waste of 5 dollars Waste of money WendellRM
A lot of potential here but the sequencer here is behind the times You have to pull up each one individually instead of a grid where all the elements can seen seen together The individual tweaks are nice but it makes more sense for those to be pop up than the sequencer Other apps like Idle are quicker to program A lot of potential 410T
Hollow tired 808 Limited functionality You can safely move on and not miss anything here Weak Blunt camel
I honestly love this app but it would improve the app a TON by adding in some things from the other reviews Also it s good but not for 5 99 Wait until it gets cheaper like a sale or something But other than the price I love it Great iOS1243
With all the great sampled beat apps out there I still find MoDrum to be my goto app for creating rhythm tracks from scratch If you re looking for realistic drums look elsewhere MoDrum is the best drum synth for iPad and loaded with easy to use control parameters and effects It s capable of making some very cool affected percussion tracks 11 drums in kit each with well thought out parameter controls 32 beat grid effects accent swing loop pan kickaz compressor tube distortion reverb synced 8th note delay sharing WIST syncs with other music apps MIDI Intua and MAPI Audio Copy for pasting is recording apps sequencer grid only shows beats for one drum at a time Well built beat synth Wolfe with an e
This app just gets more amazing with each update which is often The looper function makes it truly unique as you can audiopaste in a loop from another app and add a whole new dimension to your beats And with the latest update there s an excellent reverb now to play with An incredibly deep app and one of the few I regularly use as a beginning point for songs in ableton Best drum app ReniGhost
I really like the sounds and patterns The effects are simple and powerful I actually like that it s mono I use the patterns and or play it from a MIDI drum pad One added feature that would be cool would be a pattern play mode where you could have a bank of tracks maybe a max of 8 or 16 to use In a song and then a simple bank of buttons to cue them up to play when the current pattern plays thru Either that or a song mode where you select the sequence of patterns for a song and store the whole song in advance Cool for me though not for everyone ofajen
thing only thin i dont like about it so far is that it only has 32 programable steps Total I thought that would for just one bar or sequence or page whatever you wanna call it it should have at leats four at a minimum if not eight then this would really be a sweet app love that it opens other apps just not enough time line and steps programable for the drums It has really nice drum slund edit options really like that about it just needs to have way longer beat sequences Thanks Real Cool but needs MORE STEPS orange better than apple
Definitely not worth 5 99 The samples in this app are horrible Not many features or options at all The other apps have what this app has and more for less money Want my back Wxlf89
Otherwise useless to me Needs Akai Synthstation support automattika
sounds are OK I suppose but it lacks a lot of sequencing and sound options that are available in other Apps I like the ease of interactivity with other apps though not my thang James Primate
Snagged this app on the half price deal Nothing too new here It is NOT a drum synthesizer Worth the 3 HALF OFF SALE deal analoghaze
The simplicity of UI and this is a creative app Like it RxU_II
Like it Good app Bad Watch
wa I NEED it great baobaofox
Modrum has many strengths and of those strengths modrum does them very well better than most others But where it lacks is perhaps the most important components of my music making process What I love is the way modrum handles MIDI and playing audio in the background of other audio apps However modrum is mainly a brainstorming tool because of the details and for me they are not minor details For one the BPM s max out at 200 BPM s even though Bassline has a max of 240 BPM s Which is still way too low for my purposes the BPMs need to go up to at least 300 before I can even begin to work somewhat normally But really I work in the 600 700BPM range normally Modrum should seriously match the BPM capacity of this developers other app Bassline 32 notes per measure is not great either Needs to be at least 64 notes per measure with the BPMs being what they are The drive is very crisp and clear sounding and I am very impressed with the drive in general But the individual instruments have little control over parameters The best instrument is the bass drum but the hi s are very disappointing What I would really like to see is more parameters for controlling sound on all instruments And even better the ability for users to load samples and then tweak them This app might seem good to users who use loops in their tracks for me this is a brainstorming jam tool I just can t see using the loops produced within modrum for final mixes Really this app makes most sense for people who already have Bassline and need drums playing while bassline is running An ideal solution along with my other considerations would be to include modrum within bassline rather than buying 2 separate apps to complete anything I don t really honestly think this is worth 2 with it s current feature set but I could see this app evolving to something great The idea is great and the foundation is great it s just some of the details that need to be fixed to make me happy with this app Another OK app waiting to become great Obis11
if i push a button it crashes thanks for nothing its so crazy that the process developers have to go through to get an app approved yet so many of them crash on a regular basis im speechless horrible Turbotim3
Very limited sounds Would also be great if you could export MIDI files For now if you already own Electribe this is its very young upstart sibling and you should get it while it is on sale The devs certainly have a point of view worth supporting You probably will download run through the presets and go back to Nanoloop But here s hoping my 2 is joined by lots of other 2 and the devs are motivated to continue working on this I look forward to future releases with more access to the synthesis the description touts Some ideas beat repeat randomness swing export to midi tracks all tracks more useful editable parameters filters etc to shape the drum sound ability to drag finger across pattern editor to do rolls trills velocity global effects delay reverb the usual suspects Neat Approach but robwest
Being able to sync apps together with CoreMidi on the iPad is priceless Thank you for introducing this feature in your apps and I hope other apps follow in these steps MIDI Done RIGHT SevenStarGod
the application is solid and the user interface is nice too i would like to see more more sounds and more features but all and all this application is a solid first release keep up the good work dev team i like it The Hierophant
