If youve got an ISY 994i or any variation of that device by UDI you need this app There are a few out there that will be compatible with your home automation none come close to having the consistently working functions of this one              The Best App For ISY Devices

Any basic additions to the product are packaged plugins They then sell the exact same functionality to customers on the iPhone and IPad apps as separate products calling it a bundle So you buy an Apple watch and find out you have to pay 40 extra 20 for iPhone and 20 for iPad to this company to get lousy notifications on your watch Then you spend 2 hours rebooting the watch and phone and it still does not work Good but very expensive product that is quickly getting replicated Mobilinc Connect is a complete waste Very easy to setup using your own services     Plugins have become a rip off

Im using this app on an iPhone and an isy controller Lights scenes devices programs and thermostat all work great Seamlessly connects over both cellular and wifi Highly recommended                 Very useful and stable

I generally like this software however charging an additional 1999 to get the today view that other apps offer for free is just crazy We already paid 20 bucks for the software now an additional 20 Come on your better then this        Today view charge

I love my insteon hardware but was not at all satisfied with the hub that replaced my smartlinc This has not gone down even once after set up A little daunting at first but well worth the investment in time and money                 So much better than Hub

This is an update to the below review which I left in 2009 This app has just gotten better and better with every update I love how responsive the developer is and how intuitive the app is to use I would highly recommend this app for both new and veteran Insteon users I just downloaded and installed this app last night Right out of the box I noticed that the app was lightning fast with device status updates appearing almost instantaneously The app just feels right and has the familiar look of a standard iPhone app another Insteon web app I have tried was not as familiar and took a lot of getting used to I especially like how you can set certain scenes as favorites as I inevitably find myself reaching for the remote to turn the living room lights back on after they automatically turn off at bedtime Having my iPhone close at hand with this app will make life that much easier One suggested enhancement would be a way to jump between letters when scrolling through a long list of devices or scenes like you can do with your iPhone contacts I would also love the ability to launch my ISY programs from inside the app Aside from those suggested enhancements this is one great app Highly recommended                 Attractive and easy to use

I like the App but every time I add icons to my Dashboard or change the icon images on my devices I keep losing them Is this a bug that will fixed soon This was not a cheap App it would be nice if it fully worked              Good App

I really like this app with my ISY994i Unfortunately I paid for this app and paid separately for the iPad app and then when I replaced iPads my iPad app was missing and the team could not help me retrieve it But the app works great on my iPhone I have the camera module for all of my IP cameras Nice to have one app that can control all of my Insteon devices as well as my cameras                 Good App

Ive been using this app for over two years and it works well What Id like to see is a cleaner more modern interface The icons screen layouts are somewhat dated Otherwise I would give this application 5 stars              Overall good quality application that does what it claims

I have three ISY devices running at three different locations and I use MobiLinc to manage all of them remotely I control compressors ultrasonic cleaners paint booth lights shop lights and six thermostats at my two offices as well as all my personal devices at my house like garage doors irrigation lights fans air conditioning ect With MobiLinc connect I can switch back and forth to see status at an instant I have timers and alerts set up to notify me whats going on 247 I really think this is a great product and dont know how I managed before purchasing it Great App Lowell Smith President Accurate Instrument Repair Inc                 Great Product

This was a great app but now I have to reboot the phone daily to get device status to update        Used to be great but something changed

This system has very frequent errors on the dashboard remote control board which shows items on when they arent and off when on Also its very disconcerting to see a frequent reading of 37 on items that are supposed to be off I keep wondering if there is a current on to these items           Too many screw ups

If you have an ISY home controller you wont be disappointed with this app That goes double if you also have an Elk security system Now from home or away I can see status of my alarm devices and can even close the garage door when Im away from home The app is a little pricey but theres no better way to remote your ISY than this              Great home control app

Everything costs extra New version requires you to pay in order to have the buttons work in the today view Ridiculous You charge enough for the app alreadydont be greedy And you have all but abandoned development of this app UI needs a lot of work     Too much nickel and diming

I like the overall concept of the app but On 6 with iOS 81 power consumption is measurable and accounted for 17 in less than 24 hours Backgrounding was disabled application set to local use only and nothing should be running when the app is not active I have removed the app as I simply felt this amount of battery usage was just unacceptable My comparison is the simple Insteon app which essentially uses no power I will update this review if confirmation of an improvement is noted in the updates and is verified     Excessive Power Consumption on 6 with iOS 81

Pros The App works great I havent had any issues It connects easily to 4G and wifi Controls Elk M1 security system Controls Insteon lighting system Great service and fast Cons To control Elk security through an ISY994 universal device it is a 9999 add on from Universal Device There is no mention on the add on from Mobilinc The Elk security add on 1499 works but is lacking in function compared to the eKey pad I would an do recommend to friends                 Good app

Let me start by saying from a functionality perspective the app works installs clean and performs as expected That being said this app is not worth the 20 price especially when it continually spams you to purchase addins and then becomes totally useless if you dont purchase the subscription 5 monthly 50 annually or 200 lifetime I found that I would need to spend close to 300 to get the SAME functionality that I get in other more reasonably priced apps IMHO not worth it I wish I could get my 20 back        Be Prepared to Spend and Keep Spending

I have never paid more than 5 for an app And until now I have never felt compelled to write an online review of an app MobiLinc is worth every penny MobiLinc is a worldclass program that is aggressively supported by its developer My home automation project is a 10year project in the making with a blend of X10 and Insteon devices running under the Universal Devices architecture I have tried most of the readily available consumer and professional control programs with mixed success Without a doubt MobiLinc is the most capable most thoughtfully constructed program I have ever used I have since purchased MobiLinc entire suite of products I am continually impressed each time I use them                 Fantastic app Outstanding handson developer

I have been using the app for many months with great satisfaction Suddenly it quit working for reasons in retrospect that were obvious and I submitted a tech support request on a Saturday and received a prompt response which quickly resolved my problem the following day Sundayaaccordingly I am now impressed with both the app and the support                 Great app and support

Not a paid reviewer I own an ISY and paid for this to use in multiple devices No need to subscribe it will run local Only pay for cloud of you need control when not at home it is you dont know how to configure the firewall to get access direct into your home VPN or ports Can have multiple user profiles such as one for Guest Room and even password lockdown the app so the guest cant get out of the devicesicons you want them to have access to Excellent overall              Excellent App

This first version with Apple Watch support has some issues and was originally a disappointment BUT Wes the developer got on the bugs like a buzzard on a gut wagon Providing feedback was difficult just in trying to describe what wasnt working but somehow he drilled in on it and found the problems At this moment a beta appears not only to have fixed these problems but has made the core app work better While I was originally disappointed in the watch part of the app I have to give Wes total credit for hard work with users to get it to work right I can see the results already This effort alone is worthy of praise This app is very useful and reliable and is about to get even better                 A complete mess on Apple Watch

I started using 214 and was very impressed with the application and it performance It actually worked on my iPhone 4 with no problems I did however upgrade to 215 and it also work great except when you add a new program and press update the new programs do not appear New device appear without problem I am patiently awaiting Apples approval on 216 to see if this resolves the problem Other that that I love it and would recommend the application We travel a great deal and it great to be able to know the status of lighting in addition to notify feature when program run                 MobiLinc Pro 2150

I have been using Mobilinc for years now and love this app Wes provides the best support I ever experienced Wes is very knowledgable and quick to respond to request The reason I needed support is because problems I created with my setup and Wes quickly finds a solution to my unique home automation I highly recommend this to anybody                 Best support ever

I recently upgraded my remote insteon lighting system at our vacation home from the insteon hub to Universal Devices ISY 994i Controller I chose the Mobilinc Pro app for my iPhone It worked seamlessly all of my insteon switches were uploaded and all was well Until our satellite internet dropped off line for 8 hrs I didnt know the ISY unit well enough to take a chance of losing my settings and scenes I looked for a support number or address and found an email I didnt know how quickly I would be able to resolve the issues but immediately emailed and explained my situation It was less than 20 min on a Saturday I had a very concise and informative explanation of what needed to be done to get my unit rebooted Support was able to tell me exactly when it went offline After I rebooted the unit I again had questions about linking the app and downloading my scenes and insteon devices I was again helped with concise instructions I love this app I can log into my cameras from home at night on my Mac and turn the lights on and off with my iPhone It doesnt get much better Thanks to Wes and his crew Jim Yates                 INCREDIBLE APP

Im new to home automation and was totally exited when I got his program up and working This portion was very easy Things went smoothly for a month the I started getting notices from the app that I ended to pay 499 month if I wanted to be able to connect Avoiding these sort of monthly fees are why I went with my own custom home automation This expense was not clear in the app description or sign up For the functions I was happy to pay the one time 20 fee I am thoroughly dissappointed in the application as a result of the request for a monthly charge I want my 20 back UPDATE 112414 While it is way easier to make the app run using the fee based service You can make it with without using port forwarding etc you have to create a new profile in the app but that is easy enough Based in that Im upping my review from 2 stars to 4 5 stars if the graphics were a little nicer              Works then wants to charge a monthly fee
