It`s a cool app for somebody looking for military info, military benefits etc the nice thing I liked is the channel navigation option in bottom left side it allows user to switch different sections of site seamlessly.
I like it but…
…this app really needs a "share widget". Mil.com is a great source of info, but a fat lot of good it is if we cannot share to quickly. I`m hoping the updates will have it. Meantime, I`ll keep using the website via Safari which has the share widget.
Does not deserve "App" status
UNSAT! It doesn`t behave as an app should in my opinion.
The app has the same functionality as viewing the website from a browser on a mobile device. Also, the adds on the top and bottom make the viewing experience annoying do to the viewable portion of the page being smaller because of it. On top of all that, when I open a link via email and safari loads, a pop up asking if I want to download the app pops up (even though I already have) and the "no thanks" link doesn`t work. So I`m forced to try to read my article in a darkened back drop with the annoying pop up in my face. I have to ask the question, did military.com do the necessary homework behind the scenes before creating this app?
