This little app by far is one of the most useful periodic tables I have encountered so far Mild EleMints does a great job of collating the majority of information for each element and presents it in a neat little format At first glance the app looks very cluttered however the developers have done a great job of categorizing presented data through the color scheme It does not feel overwhelming as information per element is neatly tucked away in slide open windows or for more info such as lattice structures you can pinch zoom on the element to view it Along with this package adjustable UI the ability to highlight certain classes of elements view multiple diagrams and graphs and links to outside sources makes this app very useful for the student that would rather not hunt each tidbit of information With that said as for previous reviews made a year ago I have not checked whether the information has been updated I will leave that to the more well informed However extra information such as background i e history on the element would be nice The recent updated to iOS 8 has made this app crash at the startup however I will only rate based on the product not so much its inability to start Pros A wealth of information all presented in a neat little package Clean GUI with sharp and colorful presentation Adjustable views Cons Recent updated of iOS has caused this app not to start iOS 7 users will not encounter this problem Other comments Possibly include basic history of element All in all if you re the type to want to see a visual representation of the Bohr model of an element or if you re the high school student looking up for atomic mass this app has it all I give Mild EleMints a solid 5 beakers out of 5 Powerful tool for the aspiring chemistry student JingTheBandit
The element Po is a metal not a metalloid Some other errors need fixing as well Cool but inaccurate Dcgirl H
My son liked the app on the iPad but was dissapointed when he saw it was english only Gracias Spanish Please PabloU
Nice layout but some bad info which annoys me their is no such thing as atomic weight weight isn t really even used that much in science the correct term is atomic mass NOT atomic weight Change atomic weight to atomic mass and I will be happy Nice but inaccurate Check your sources
I love this app It s so easy to use and has tons of info Eventually I ll upgrade to the pro version A greenstraws
This app its very educational and good I want to buy the pro versio but i speak spanish I wish it had more languages App Ultimate shadow
Much better then most of the apps out there This has good info However it has no isotopic data on any element past gold Also every naturally occurring isotope is presumed stable which is not the case ex calcium tugsten and nickel which are mostly composed of radioactive isotopes with half lives 10 17 years However the big error is on potassium whose 01 composition of K40 has a half life of only 10 9 years yet this app says they are stable Also there are isotopes that are found in trace amounts on earth ex technetium99 yet no data is displayed on such PLZ FIX Ok nc4228
Only now started to use it and I am in love with the design Will change rating if bugs show up but so far 5stars Love the design laguna_b

This app is a great app for people who are interested in the elements Just needs an update Good Applestore
Well here s the app in a nutshell you get a screen sized version of the period table Tap on one of the elements and you get hyperlinked to the Wikipedia entry on that element and no way to get back except of course to start again at your home button You get two menu choices at the bottom of the screen 1 display the table see above or 2 buy the paid version What you see is what you get GlennEm
Well I understand that this is an app done by an American And somehow or another Americans don t seem to recognize and fix their mistakes By that I mean the elements in Group 12 is no longer considered to be transition metals but in this app and all other apps they still remain to be the transition metals Come on and wake up Yankees Old Shibumaku
All I wanted was simple iPhone diagram of periodic table that wouldve bee 3 stars This app has that ways to categorize the elements on category physical state and conductivity Another star Plus it s free 5th star excellent Great johntkucz
Could you make the paid version free for a day Please Please I would love if you could do that for a day Please I m a big fun of this app but Poupoue
I might have bought the app if it were faster Also it needs a key for the different numbers And you should be able to mark the number of valence eletrons The app is pretty but not very useful Slow The Reason Project

Because of this app I got an A on my chemistry exam I would recommend this app to anyone whose trying to pass a tough chemistry course Awesome Accooe3
This app presents what to me is an unfamiliar view of the periodic table I just couldn t take to it That said it does have some nice features to change the view of the table such as by element classification or state of matter at different temperatures The user interface could also use some polish in my opinion My device iPhone 3G S Weird View of Periodic Table Jax Stephens
Can some one add a search engine to find element Update Text in the go
This app is great Not only does it show you all the basics but it will take you to the wikipedia site for even more information about each element Love it See Chemistry can be fun sorta jasmineracquel
