I ve been using the app for over 2 years now I was able to use the MOA function in the program to make a 974 yard shot with a Steyr 308 The longest shot to date that I had taken was 517 yards 1 3 4 group The calculations were spot on and allowed me to hit my target I have the app installed on my iPad and iPhone It would be nice to have the data stored in the cloud so that all of my devices can share the custom load information with a single input                     Incredible App 28Nosler

Comparable to Ballistic AE in the nearest 100ths in regards to calculations because the both use the same engine The graph reticle and HUD in MD ballistics is way better in my opinion                     Easiest calculator I have used Blue Tonka

I used this app on my I phone to start and found it vary useful giving me all the data I needed But when I put it on my I pad wow the screen changed and have a full menu on the left side now which makes it much easier to use I haven t found a better app yet There are plenty of app s that are real good but this app shines Plus I would also recommend Mil Dot Rangefinder to go with                     Great data for Long Range shooting Garkam

I cannot believe this program works so well I studied it before I went shooting my AR 15 and went out to the Desert set up a steel target at 500 yards used the ballistic calculator and smacked it every time dead on with Full metal jacket 556 PS confirmed the range with my laser rangefinder and was only 13 yards off the mil dot difference unbelievable Worth a lot more than what it s selling for but don t tell them that                     New guy new long dist shooter

I have been using this app for approximately 2years I have used numerous other programs including a Dedicated PDA ballistic computer none of which are as good as this app There are several features that Mildot Ballistics provides that makes it very user friendly It not only provides proper hold over for both second and first focal plane scopes but I can even see a preview of what a shot looks like through the crosshairs of my NightForce ATACR F1 or Vortex Razor HD Gen II There are dozens upon dozens of other reticles saved for those of you wondering including a standard generic Mildot reticle This app has proved itself reliable and accurate despite harsh environmental conditions If your inputs are accurate the app will not let you down I have tested it out to 1900 yards with my 338 lapua and I am believer I can not say enough about it                     Best Ballistics Software I have ever used Guy Wifi

I ve used several apps in the field and Mil Dot Ballistics is one of the best I m using a Vortex HST 6 24x50 scope on a Remington 700 SPS 308 It s a tack driver and this app gives me confidence to dial in any shot The app has a substantial database of scope reticles that continues to grow It s a bit pricy but it s worth every cent                     Great App Vortex1984

This is an awfully expensive app to all of a sudden break Update reports some missing URL and freezes iTunes I had to uninstall the app to be able to backup my iPad and now I can t reinstall it Hopefully a patch is in the works     No longer works with Oct 2015 Update The Zoman

It is rare but occasionally it happens that all the elements of knowledge experience understanding and wisdom come together and are manifested in genius This program is that manifestation The gentleman whose mind envisioned the perfect ballistics program has indeed exemplified intelligence intellect and master craftsmanship All these attributes are embodied in this incredible feature rich ballistics app After struggling with the touted simplicity of Shooter and the over hyped Ballistic AE in both the iPad and iPhone versions my research and frustration led me to Mil Dot Ballistics What a costly and disappointing journey until my ultimate discovery of Mil Dot Ballistic AE No Reply tech support three attempts without as much as the courtesy of an acknowledgment failed to respond to the crashing of their program whenever trying to save settings within the rangefinder module There is no tech support or training of any kind apart from a few U Tubers exercising their egos while ignoring crying babies and fighting dogs in the background Alternatively Mil Dot offers an in depth PDF User manual and in devise training module The User Manual is elaborate professional and high quality While you only purchase one version for both iPad and iPhone there are separate User Manuals for each version It is most apparent the gentleman behind this program s has a deep sense of pride of ownership and desires that all users obtain the finest insight and knowledge before spending countless time and money and possibly frustration and disappointment while on the range And speaking of time and money after we shooters spend perhaps thousands of dollars on equipment hours of valuable time in loading travel and range time is all comes together as precision and perfection but only if we score in our individual competitive events You can bake all of the preparation time and equipment into the shooter cake but this program is the icing on the cake in terms of complete and total integration of training equipment ammo time experience skill knowledge desire and of course a competitor s determination And the cherry on top of the cake is the genius behind and supporting this excellent app in its various versions And if anyone is wondering if I have been paid to take the time to write this review YES I was paid in kind when I purchased a 199 95 for 19 95 and each time I use this program I will receive renewals and accruals and investment dividends in saved time zero frustration a sense of satisfaction and what we all strive for as competitive shooters high scores and a sense of self mastery and accomplishment Lastly be sure to read the reviews of this app in the all versions tab in the app store since most reviews are under this tab The last time I checked there were more than two hundred reviews from some of our nation s most knowledgeable and respected shooters Shoot for Gold and enjoy our American sport                     Whiz Bang Marcopolo1975

This is a great tool I wish I had this when I was in the Military It Does need bluetooth for the Kestrel s that have the bluetooth feature for sending wind barometric pressure and humidity information this could also encourage someone to design a bluetooth laser range finder and inclinometer as well Also there are many reticles it does not have such as the Horus reticles I know they are most likely copy write protected What it needs is a way to upload any reticle that you provide it by way of the internet If it had all this it would out perform the 10 000 computer that Horus sells our Military I love the App if you had the the bluetooth and the ability to add any reticle I would pay over 200 for that capability                 Very good but could be even better frogdog5326

Zero at 200 meters and the Mil Dot Ballistics App allowed me to put 2 rounds on a 1000 yd gong with only 1 correction The POI lock target range wheel trajectory info and the feature of turning the phone sideways to see a corrections chart makes distance shooting easy                     Accurate Joel -T-

Pretty accurate app for long range shooting I don t like the fact that you can t set the zero to metric and the wind speed to miles per hour You should be able to adjust the units of each output to correct for various scopes and shooter preferences                 Good overall app but needs a few tweaks Jason Dorwart

Here s a super powerful external ballistics tool that is as complex or as simple as you want to make it There are many input variables but you can simply leave them as default if you don t want to use them Features graphical and reticle views just as you would expect The library of bullets and cartridges is extensive and was the main selling point for me The algorithm is not firearm specific and is based on a standard test barrel Rifle only both rimfire and centerfire                     Better than on line calculators Trotskii

If you can t get on with this data you should stick with a 22 and 50 feet You need to be sure of the data you input it can only deal with what you give it Only complaint is recently been getting message when trying to update atmospheric conditions that the web address was incorrect Thus I input my own data                 Excellent execution 3r ranch
