INTRODUCTORY PRICE 50% OFF Midnight Inbox Touch is professional grade task management made beautiful and the cleanest and clearest implementation of Getting Things Done (GTD) on the iPad. Want to work smarter, with more ...
I really like the idea of this app but it is very frustrating I keep seeing doubles of my actions and my lists even though I keep deleting the doubles they return I like the visual interface and design If the program would work it would be awesome But alas it doesnt Once it is working Ill try again if Im not too invested in another GTD app by then        I really wanted to like it but
Beautiful UI but every time I try one of your products it seems I am waiting for the next fix Great idea but the implementation falls short Crashes unexpectedly when I try to to enter event details Some controls too small and dont take full advantage of the expanded real estate on the iPad I shouldnt have to work so hard to touch small controls just right when I am working to get things done If you wanted to roll this out to get more feedback on the bugs offer it for free or at something a lot less than 1499 And to have an app that collects intricate sets of data with no way to truly back up without waiting for a desktop app that doesnt yet exist is truly ridiculous I stopped using Things and Omnifocus because of having to wait to get home to reasonably synch my data on their desktop apps How about a simple backup with iTunes at least     Ditto extremely buggy not ready to roll out not even at this introductory price
Ive had none of the other crashing problems that other users have shared Very stable very functional great concept and execution And with a desktop and iPhone app that can sync over the air Im getting very excited about this app It can only get better                 Great app no problems
Like other reviewers I really want to like this app Unlike other reviewers I havent been able to make it crash My major problem with it is that its obscenely slow on my iPad 1 It sometimes takes 510 seconds for it to respond to taps Also there seems to be a lot of wasted space in the UI For example the wide vertical column on the left of some of the screens that is only used if you go into Edit mode Id rather have the text of the items stretch across the entire width and then shrink to make room for the edit buttons Speaking of buttons the button bar along the bottom just seems unnecessarily large Id also like to be able to send an item directly to an existing List Sometimes I just want to capture something quickly knowing Im going to want to send it to a List As it is now I have to process it into an Action and then go to that Action and move it to a List Seems like an unnecessary extra step Ive not read Allens book although this app has inspired me to do so so this idea might be heretical but it certainly seems convenient Finally I much prefer the more classic style of Midnight Inbox uh well Classic especially the font choices The new version is very clean but feels too Euro Modern Im a big fan of Things and OmniFocus but I can easily see this app becoming my primary GTD solution if the slowness is fixed I can live with the UI Im looking forward to new versions and I sincerely hope that I can soon give this app 5 stars              So Much Potential So Many Issues
Since Midnight Beep released version 30 of the iPad app I have been using it for my trusted system As for GTD this app does a great job of helping you to collect and process your actions The good Faithful GTD implementation Nice UI Easy collection system through notes The not so good Themes Mac and iPhone apps still arent out No way to mass archive completed actions only completed lists Different ways to edit action details can be confusing All in all I am happy with this app but really need the desktop and phone versions to complete the system              New 30 app is a wonderful GTD implementation
I have been using MIdnight inbox touch for a few days now I did not see the crashes others have reported but I shut down and then restarted iPad to clear memory This ApP has a lot of potential Really follows David Allens GTD methodology very closely so followers of this methodology should like the app Once the IPhone and new MAC 2 versions come out and synch should be powerful Like most most v1 of apps needs improvements to GUI some needed features etc Developers have been responsive to ideas so hopefully will just get better with time           Has potential
it has moved beyond ridiculous that your web site has shown coming soon for the desktop and iphone versions for literally months Other popular task management solutions have made it to all three devices some multidevice and managed to create decent systems for task management Midnight inbox touch could as these other reviews say be a great companion to an updated desktop version you have taken to long i have adopted another system and am too invested to switch back good luck with newer customers but i would have to say buyer beware updates given this companies track record will be slow coming        enough is enough
Occasionally duplicates my items It has A lot of promise              Almost there
I should have listened to the reviews Cant add a date it always crashes every time I sent them an email its been days later NO Response BADDDD Now I have to figure out how contact Apple to get a refund again waste of time and money Dont Buy     Waste of Money
Great work guys I reviewed this a while back but couldnt recommend it due to crashes So far it seems solid and the interface is beautiful If you are a hardcore follower of GTD I have never seen a more dedicated system This is like an automated system based directly on recommendations from David Allen                 Beautiful
Cant quite recommend this one until they fix the bugs One in particular that is repeatable is that every time you try to delegate to someone in your contacts it crashes Every time I cant really get past that bug because i need to delegate This is very interesting software and i will definitely keep an eye on it but for now Im waiting for an update before I fire it up again        Not there yet
App is losing notes and actions after returning to the app if left for a little time Now it is crashing continually and will not function Great form but the function is unreliable     Losing notes and actions crashing
Original tasks that are examples wont stay deleted unstable and way to problematic to be considered ready for distribution The fine folks at Apple apparently did not play with this one before giving their approval I hope this app is fixed soon I really like the concept and there are several features that could sway me away from Todo     Bad app and worse price
Beautiful app and just how I want to organize my tasks but unfortunately the app crashes it loses the tasks Ive entered when I exit the app and projects I deleted show up again randomly Something is wrong with it storing data Cant believe I just paid 15 for an app that cant even save my tasks They better fix these bugs quick     Dont buy until they fix bugs
I would have given it just 1 star because it just keeps crashing However 2 stars for the effort and a pretty interface From the user stand point I think its a little over crowded with feature which makes the app very difficult to use steep learning curve Has potential nevertheless        Nope keeps crashing
Thorough GTD implementation This is by far THE BEST GTD app in the App Store Ive tried just about all of them including OmniFocus and Organize but this one tops them all Beautiful UI intuitive flow and well thought out Love the 2minute focus timer Heres what Id like to see in a future release Maximize the main Notes area While the UI is nice and clean theres a lot of empty space around this area that can be utilized for more notes a larger viewing area and more viewable notes ataglance Larger font size in the main Notes area Even on an iPad the notes arent quite fingerfriendly Its a little difficult targeting the proper checkbox to complete an action and viewing the details of a note Use an overlay for the five actions The Collect Process Organize Review and Do actions are great and compliment the workflow perfectly However they consume a lot of valuable real estate Please consider some sort of overlay perhaps something that expands retracts when needed so the main Notes area can be maximized Windows version I know that a Mac version will be soon released but dont forget us Windows users                 Awesome App
I would not recommend purchasing this as it is and I wish I hadnt As noted by another reviewer there is no documentation to support this product I went on to the web site for the developer and nothing there either that was of any value Since I spent 999 I was determined to try to figure out what I could I played around entered some stuff and thought I would limp along with it for a day or two at least Well guess what Even though I did the little back up function they provided everything was GONE Restoring didnt bring it back I sent an email to support Got an automated response fairly quickly but after 2 days no actual help All of the other issues cited by others such as inability to delete suggested folders etc are all true as well Looks like they need to burn some more Midnight oil on this app It is not ready for Daylight     Midnight Inbox Touch Not Ready for the Light of Day
This is by far the most comprehensiveGTD tool I have found Inbox Touch has the flexibility to organize my most complex project with ease As a business professional I can organize many project quickly and easily create means for follow up and making assignment through email The iPhone version now give me even more flexibility when I don have my iPad with me A musthave for professionals managing many complex projects                 Excellent planning and gtd tool
This app is a nice idea However after using it for a couple of months now I have to tell everyone to STAY AWAY Finding a reliable system you can trust is mandatory for GTD principles You can not trust this app I constantly crashes When it it is not crashing it will lose all your data You would think that you could guard against this using the cloud backup feature but you would be wrong The backup feature does not work you can not import you data back into the app So after I was amazed at that the app followed the GTD Principles I have to tell you simply this app is garbage and simply does not work     Not reliable Stay Away
I am so happy with this app The interface is organized its easy to setup and use It even has a preentered list of actions to help get you started the GTD way I have been able to get rid of so many other apps now that I have this one                 Wonderful App
I first started using Midnight Inbox back when it first launched on the Mac I liked it a lot then and used it for quite a while You definitely have to buy into the workflow as the app is pretty highly structured Eventually I stopped using it in favor of tools that would sync across different platforms Ive been exploring Inbox Touch for a few days now and havent noticed the kinds of problems others are reporting The app has been responsive and it hasnt crashed on me yet For me the real test will come when Inbox 2 arrives on the desktop and Inbox Mobile arrives on the iPhone FWIW the developers have always been very responsive to my requests and theyve been committed to this project for a long time Im glad to see that theyre still working on these apps and expect that theyll work hard to keep improving them              Nice implementation of the design concept theyve been developing for 3 years
I love the look and feel of this app I like how it guides you through the steps Id like to see some video tutorials with some details and examples so I can cut my learning curve down and optimize it for my workflow faster Im very excited to see where this app is going considering the richness it already has I have MANY apps but this is the only one Ive felt compelled to leave a review for              Pretty impressed
Its a great app and I love it I really like seeing this kind of innovation Technology we can actually use and it looks pretty doing it But without the iPhone counter part this app is useless to me        A good start
This could be a 5 star application with work I have a number of suggestions 1 Earlier suggestion about some controls being to small is correct when trying to add folders under inbox the add button is to small or not responsive 2 Stability is an issue the application does crash better memory management is the likely fix here 3 This is a big one This is a complicated app detailed user manual is critical I have found no how to use information I did communicate with the developer prior to buying this app based on the poor reviews They seemed responsive and because all the other GTD apps that I have tried fell well short I decided to give it a try 1499 is a big price but compare it to Things which does not do a 10th of this app it is a short price to pay Apps in general are more expensive on the iPad people need to stop comparing app prices to iPhone apps I have not found the app as unstable as pervious reviews Please keep working on it and detailed application documentation        Great idea needs work
I downloaded this yesterday having been skeptical because of the earlier reviews First off the interface is quite beautiful There was apparently a big update on November 22 2012 which may have solved the problems complained about earlier because I have not yet observed any despite manipulating the files folders and boxes quite a bit I have experienced no crashes It seems very stable and painstakingly adheres to the GTD methodology I am going to switch over from Firetask and see how I like it I will try to update the review again in a couple weeks to let others know about how things are getting done with this app                 Impressed so far
Total and complete waste of money I spent more time dealing with crashes than ANY time I might have saved     Total waste of money
I rarely write reviews but fely obligated to do so as I think the and reviews are rather harsh Yes there are some issues and updates are needed but this has to be the best and most good looking app in the App store and one of the true GTD apps Yes there appears to be a memory issue causing a crash and loss of data but I quickly learned that if I process no more than 4 items at a time then exit the program and reopen there are no crashes for me I bought this app the first day it was in the store learnt my workaround that day and havent had a problem since Not ideal I agree but it works Also there are so many features to the app that anyone but an ardent GTDer will I am sure have some difficulty using the app A much more complete help file is essential for the apps success Also some other features and improvements would be nice but I am not going to go in to them here I look forward to updates that will solve these initial problems and hope the app becomes very successful              Flaws but definitely usable
I was so excited to see that this developer was releasing this fantastic app across all mac platforms I installed the app so far so good Told it to sync with my work calendar and it wont stop crashing I cant even remove the calendar to make it stop crashing Terrible waste of my hard earned money     Terrible
Been looking for a good task program I was excited try this one as it seemed to have a lot of nice features The problem is that is has a lot of nice features with literally zero directions as to how to use them all The other complaint is that the program comes with several more than 5 suggested categories which you can change the title but you cant remove any of them so the starting page is VERY cluttered Good concept but way to cluttered with not enough directions        Complicated with limited directions
First let me say that this app has to be the most beautiful tasktodo management app around The UI is cleverly designed and clearly a huge amount of thought and painstaking detail went into creating it I read David Allens book on GTD This app most certainly is faithful to the methodology and process of what Allen talks about in his system The frustration Oh yes Like other reviewers my app is starting to crash frequently Upon my initial launch of the app on my IPAD 1 there were few issues Now anytime I process more than 3 or 4 items it crashes Also I am seeing duplicates of my action items and my hierarchal lists This isnt a big deal if it happens once or twice Alas it s happening more than half of the time The ability to email your lists is convenient yet I would like to see it be more aesthetically pleasing A table grid with different colors would be great Hopefully future updates will address some of the bugs I feel that this app should be less than 10 given some of the memoryinterface issues If some of these issues improve the app would be worth the 10 price tag This app is gorgeous as the developer says in their description It has so much potential I wont give up just yet on it Looking for updates           Beautiful yet occasionally frustrating
Ive been using MIT for over a year and every release introduces new bugs With the current release I get random crashes when trying to edit an item in the list After suffering for a year I plan to move to another product Great set of features but the stability lack of regression testing make it challenging to work with           Beware
I personally think this is an amazing app Truly different than the others I used it in the early desktop days when there were bugs to work throughI think the iPad version is a better incarnation of the idea I would love a users manualbecause the process is not really intuitive but it is good In short awesome app                 Love it
I want to love this app but it constantly crashes I mean CONSTANTLY and the iPhone app wont sync with my iPad at all even though both are configured for iCloud syncing When I emailed them it took more than a week to get a reply and their response was something like it might be apples cloud issue So far Ive spent 15 bucks on these apps spent time putting in all my information and now it wont stay open for longer than a minute without crashing Im not exaggerating And whatever information I had entered before the crash is lost and I have to start over This becomes extremely frustrating when youve entered several items or a note Shutting down the app completely as well as the iPad doesnt fix the issue Ive also restored my iPad thinking that was the fix but nothing doing Ive emailed them a second time and still have not heard back This app has great potential and so far would be my favorite GTD app but for now dont spend the money on it 1     frustrated dont spend your
