With version 2 Meteoearth establishes itself as the most innovative and informative weather app out there The forecasting functionality and detail is superb as is the new UI The new maps are terrific the 3D sun tracking and city lights at night are amazing and beautiful We live in the mountains of Panama in a town of about 6000 and the city lights are perfect including all the little plazas on the road up the mountain When I want to show off what the iPad can do this is the app I will choose In the premium version being able to change the wind altitude is worth the price of admission If you are a weatherclimate geek Meteoearth is like having a Tricorder for the earth The only features I would like to see added are sea ice extent making the polar displays more accurate and possibly ocean temps which would really complete the picture Although not strictly predictive these would greatly enhance understanding of our coupled oceanatmosphere system OK one more example Our town is in a valley and our house is about 1km out of town 300 meters up the mountain The program accurately models the weather patterns we see every day clearly showing the differences between town and our house It also has a detail viewer which puts a point on the map and shows the numerical value of a chosen parameter It is exquisitely controllable and put on a point within 100 meters of our house is showing a predicted temperature within one degree of actual Finally hats off to the developers who wrote the code for Meteoearth Version 1 was good this is superb                 An amazing update

This is an incredible program My granddaughter and I spend so much time with it She likes this more than any of her games The graphics are spectacular and exploring earth is both fascinating and fun                 Buzziekelly

Right now just have the basic app really enjoying watching the wind patterns and how they may effect a storm thats coming my way Im going to invest in the premium version and hope theres even more cool features                 Enjoying Meteoearth

For a look at both global and local windcloudtemp forecasts for the next 2 days this free app is very useful Highly recommended                 For weather watchers this App is a Must

This is a very good accurate weather app that give lots of detail on future casts weather graphic This app is so good I went and purchased the 1 year upgrade I feel the 599yr is a fair price to pay for the additional features This app is very graphic heavy so it puts a decent CPU load on the processor iPad gets a bit warm after playing around with this app for a half hour Its the price ya pay for an app like this                 Top notch

This is an interesting though not ultimately useful weather app its great to get the world perspective but its not going to replace a dedicated forecast The one big issue it has is with the temperature detail view If you click on a location over 100 degrees it truncates the temp like this 10 Please fix this           OK but one glaring issue

Mostly for the graphics And while there might be other apps that might give more finely tuned info for specific locals you just cannot beat seeing the big picture Wonderful job                 Absolutely Love It

The information presented is terrific especially the wind It shows how weather works in a new way that is better than any visual approach I have seen before When you zoom out to see the global perspective it becomes very clear that our atmosphere is a big blanket of air which has to share the same space Its fascinating to see how it moves and pushes up against other air                 Great app Educational and beautiful

Nice application but it needs 6year Premium to buy to be fully functional They are claiming that Premium will works on this and Weather Pro but they forgot to tell you that you can connect up to 5 devices This means that if you bought both products you can use it fully on 2 device I have even problems with theirs Premium services and after disconnection one device I cannot connect other within that 5 slots     Need Premium to buy

As I sit here and write this there is a snowstorm outside Am I surprised No Ive been able to watch its path since yesterday afternoon It hit last night I love the fact that I can see that inclimate weather is on its way and prepare for it                 Fantastic

All the features were easily discoverable and the visuals are excellent giving a clear sense of the trends for wind clouds etc It is a great app for those of us who follow for example Formula 1 and want to see the weather patterns anywhere in the world for the coming weekend Data costs money If you dont want five day projection or multilayers it is still incredibly informative and helpful Sadly there are always those who value cheepnez over everything else                 Brillliant App

I rely heavily on weather prediction being a pro photographer in Maine where the weather is extremely unpredictable I have used this program for close to a year now along with my past favorite The Weather Underground I have found that once it gets within 72 hours the predictions are close to 100 accurate Great interface and less than 10 a year for sat fees us very reasonable I HIGHLY reccomend this weather app It is the best app out there                 Most Accurate Weather Program Available

Indispensable for pilots an absolutely incredible tool for visualizing the weather One suggestion for the developers it would be great if there was some way to reverse the colors for pressure to make blue and red correspond to high and low pressure respectively to align with the standard convention for surface analysis charts                 Amazing app
