People complain that the app does not allow editing That is possible I presume if they purchased the inapp upgrade The free version does allow me to check file size which is what I wanted I also did not have to allow the app itself to have access to the free extension A huge plus in my mind I went into the Apple photos app and selected a photo Then I clicked edit to bring up the default editing features At the bottom of my iPhone 6 screen may be different on different phones I enabled the extension Then I selected the extension and boom my photo meta data was present Does what it claims
I used to have to keep Camera installed just to view exif data on the occasional basis Now I can keep this lightweight app installed The only thing missing is being able to view the seconds in the time stamp for when the picture was taken Great app
I use this app almost every day Its worth every penny The only feature request that would be really nice if it could be added is to be able to modify location ive run into times where an app incorrectly tagged the wrong location in the metadata for a photovideo Having that just a few taps away by using the extension would be super useful and convenient Must have utility
When I use the app on a RAW image from my Sony a6000 the app crashes every time RAW images crashes all

When I got this app I noticed it deletes certain amount of old photos the more you keep getting them Why does it do that I feel like if I delete the app I am never going to get the photos back in my camera roll PLEASE HELP WHY IS IT DELETING MY PHOTOS

Yes the app integrates with Photo library and actions well Yes is DISPLAYS metadata but you CAN NOT edit or delete it That functionality is listed as a premium feature which has no price nor any way of actually attaining this elusive feature the reason I downloaded the app InApp Purchases to say the least

It lets you view all the metadata on your photos and it has a extension so it can work in your photos app through edit so you dont have to open the app ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY
The only feature at all is locked and costs 2 to unlock Beyond that this app does not help you to edit existing metadata nor append new metadata I would really like to maybe say alter or add GPS metadata to a photo Maybe I would like to add a copyright or a link to my website This app does nothing and its embarrassing its in the App Store being downloaded and with zero actual functionality Useless
For those who want to share on social media but protect their privacy this is a mandatory app Its so wonderfully integrated with iOS 8 that it feels like part of it So useful
Metapho is truly a must have app for viewing the metadata in a photo Often I like to see the size of my photo after running it through some type of photo editor Most of the time a photo editing app changes the size of the imported exported photo without out the knowledge of the user I wish I had found this app earlier its indispensable 2ND TO NONE
I tried this on many photos with the same results The app tells me it removed the location but other apps such as Camera still see a location I dont know if the location is still actually in the photo but kind of worrying No way to contact developer Doesnt remove location

This app does has two functions reviewing and deleting the metadata from your pictures Both functions are executed extremely well hence the 5 stars The integration with Photosapp is the icing on the cake Must have if you take pictures with your iOS 8 equipped device Great little utility

Five stars for doing exactly what it claims allows you to view metadata either within the iOS 8 Photos app or through the standalone Metapho app I actually prefer using it as a standalone app because you can swipe left and right to go through all of your pictures checking out the metadata and GPS of each one in turn I really really really hope the creator adds an inapp purchase that allows for metadata editing Ive been looking for an app that allows one to change the date good for photos other people send you or from pointandshoot cameras with the wrong info This would be the perfect interface in which to edit the exif data and I would be happy to pay for the inapp purchase Does what it claims potential for more
Wish I knew about this app earlier Works flawlessly With the iMessage integration its a no brainier Now you have a choice to send pic that do not contain any locationtime data Just hit Get and then fork out the 200 Game changer for privacy concerns
Wont work for my needs I need my photos displayed in a specific order by filename Unfortunately I cannot find a way to do this since iOS seems to ignore everything except metadata This app may be awesome but I will never know as it is will only allow me to pick photos from my entire 800 collection displayed at one time and not let me choose the folder with the 23 specific photo copies I need to work with Impossible to find just the ones I need to work with since the copies are displayed next to the originals randomly distributed throughout the master collection display Great for new photos not so great for existing
