The METAControl is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 0.4 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 0.1 has been released on 2014-11-25. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Here is the app`s compatibility information: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. App crashes immediately when attempting to connect both on iPad mini retina and iphone 5 Crashes
This app provides reliable control of Blackmagic Designs ATEM line of switchers The look of the app feels unfinished but considering that it is free I have no complaints I appreciate that the iPhone app controls the preview bus of the switcher Another paid app doesnt do this As far as features go I would like to see configurable and arrangeable buttons on the iPad Additionally I would like to have control of the upstream key Features better than another paid app
Works great with our blackmagic atem tv studio Love being able to control the switch via wifi even on stage Simple switching
The writing doesnt even make sense on the buttons It writes strange letters on the buttons that arent in the english language Update the app ASAP Bugged for iPhone
Ive tried many times with no luck I know Ive set the IP address correctly because I used it in another app It crashes every time I try to open it Please update Doesnt work
Works very well with our atem 1 with the exception of the tbar slider Only the first 15 of the slider works then it resets the transition Not a deal breaker for me we only use auto trans and cut buttons I really like that you can touch an input to put it on preview or hold it to take it Id be very willing to pay for this app asis A few feature requests that would make it more worth it for us but these are just what I see would make this a complete solution for us button mapping if we could pick what the buttons are on the screen rather than just being inputs 18 control for dsk 12 just auto and cut Works great
With 51 software it does not seem to be able to read the input information I am using a 2ME with Just Macros also open and a 3rd gen IPad The names for the buttons come up gibberish and they all point to Black Cut and Auto trans do work properly Not working right with 51
App worked great until the ATEM 51 firmware update Im working a festival in Charlotte and was hoping this would make like easy as usual and nope will not even connect Love your app update it ASAP please Needs update
This is great My church got the Atem studio but we were having problem placing the Atem to hook up all the cameras and place the output and stick a computer on it to stream and control it This app made it all possible Great for church

App Ver1 Tested with Atem 2 ME Brain and 1 ME panel iPhone 4S Ap does what is says It is extremely quick No delay No problem connecting The app would greatly benefit having access to the Media Players and Keyers Maybe an ME selector too The input selection appears to be locked to the input setup configuration So this is probably why there are no Media players on the input selection Reconfigurable interface would also be nice In conclusion The app provides lowno delay connection and control to basic switching of ME1 Seems to work really well 45 because I know its still version 1 and hopefully features will be included in the future Update To address other review my transition bar works very well No problems with my use Video director
