This is by far the best recipe app I ve used Its a one stop app for everything dealing with planning and organizing what I want to eat from lists to pantry to recipes to meals I like that I can plan from my ipad and have the shopping list available on my phone Best of all I can view the meals by week or month This is especially useful when I end up too busy to cook for a few days and I need to reorganize my meal planning 2017 I ve tried other menu planners but I always go back to this one because its so functional I m ecstatic to see its still being updated Ideal ~Kabuki~
So many more features than other menu planners I love the pantry tracker I wish you could print out a cookbook but I love having this on my phone Love it So organized
The developer has been MIA for over a year I have no idea if he s alive or if he just abandoned his app This app used to be amazing It did exactly what I needed it to do The problem is that it keeps crashing randomly and there are some new features that I would like to see added but since the developer is MIA my guess is that those will never happen Although I have literally been setting this up for the 3 4 years that I ve been using it I am at the point that I m about to start over with another app Do not waste your money purchasing this app unless you want it as is and know that there will NEVER be another update The reason I m posting this now is because their website is not working either and reroutes you to another site which tells me this product is going by the wayside It s really sad too because this was an awesome product Original review Although it took some time in the beginning to set it up this program has not only saved me time but also money I have all my recipes in here and can quickly create a grocery list I even went through the extra setup of putting in the aisle the food item is in at the store I shop at I also put in the price of the item too Now when I create my grocery list not only is it organized by the store I also have a rough estimate of how much my total will be For anyone who gives this a low score just because it takes too much time to setup is lazy Not every program you download is going to have all your data in it Take the time to set this program up and it will be a very useful app Awesome app until the developer went MIA ChastityV

I cook mostly from scratch and was expecting that I could add ingredients with their individual nutritional data and have the recipe calculate the per serving nutritional information at least the calories I had a a Windows based app that did this 10 years ago I imported some ingredients from the web Some had the info some didnt I added it but discovered the app does not add up all the info and divide it by the number of servings The recipe builder menu planner and shopping seem fine but its not what I was looking for Wonder how I get my 299 back Nutritional info needs more work
Ive tried several recipe keepers meal planners and shopping lists and this is by far the best one not only because it is all three combined but because all three functions actually work together I dont use the pantry function but Im quite sure that feature is just as great for those that keep a well stocked and organized party as part of their lifestyle I just swipe off stuff I know I have If you plan your meals every week and make shopping list based on those meals and what you have on hand and like to collect recipes THIS IS the tool you need Like to organize your recipes by your own categories Its got that Want your store list organized by your own categories or aisle in your actual supermarket different stores or even multiple stores Its got that Want to be able to add stuff that is not part of your meal plan yup You can do that How about stuff you buy every week Yup that too I could go on and on Oh and the recipes can have a picture and you can even upload pics of your own dishes Its the best really Ive tried the rest this is the best

I liked the idea of collecting recipes in one place and then being able to make a menu along with a shopping list However Im finding that the shopping list doesnt pull over all of the ingredients of the recipe which then requires me to manually add whats missing The add item feature was tough to figure out and the app didnt fully sync between my devices Maybe with time and practice navigating this app wont take as much time as I feel like Im spending on it now Good idea but needs some improvement
This app worked really great for me until all of the sudden it would not sync with the website I went online to the help forums but none of their suggestions worked Now I have spent hours inputting information into this app with no way to back it up What a waste of time Dissapointed
I love the app because I finally have something helping me plan ahead and therefore use my budget a little better What could really use some improvement is downloading recipes When I download recipes from the Internet about a third of the time although the picture I choose seams to load it actually fails in the saved version so many of my recipes are photoless I would also love to be able to take a photograph of one of my recipe cards and save it along with my downloaded recipes Good but could be great

At first I loved using this app Ive typed in numerous recipes to share with my family and created months of meal plans I started trying the autoimport recipes features to download recipes from some of my favorite websitesand it freezes every time Ive also emailed support as instructed about adding Yummly to their list of available sites and no one ever answered me While I will continue to use the app Im not exactly thrilled with it anymore I just cant find anything else in the App Store that lets me enter my own recipes the way I like them Auto Import Freezes
Well made user friendly helps me organize my time and money I dont like to write reviews and I almost never spend money on apps I took a chance on this one after reading an article about it online Im very satisfied I love it
I love this app It allows me to easily keep all my recipes in one place and my plan meals It is so easy to import recipes You can back search old meal menus I have done this for holiday meals It is also easy to copy a meal to a future date Been using it for years now

I used to love this app but it hasnt been updated in some time and needs some fixes I didnt notice when importing some recipes that the site wasnt importing every ingredient I only noticed this recently when reviewing a recipe where the directions were referring to ingredients that werent listed Thus the recipe was worthless because I didnt know how much to add and I was in a dead zone so I couldnt look up the original recipe Ive noticed this issue in a few recipes but I have no idea how many have been affected I wish the app hooked up to a database like myfitnesspal that calculates the nutritional values for each ingredient and gives a total for the whole recipe Entering each value is very tedious even when you scan a packaged item For some reason the scanner doesnt import serving sizes There should be a way to reflect leftovers in the meal planner section If I schedule to eat a certain recipe two nights in a row it says I need double the ingredients Right now I have a dummy recipe called Leftovers to trick it There should be an alphabet bar to one side similar to iTunes so you can quickly scroll through titles of recipes and categories If youre looking for a recipe that starts with S you have to scroll through all recipes titled AR Being able to collapse the headings isnt enough in my opinion Used to love but not anymore

I use it constantly I dont have all the features set up just yet But its super easy to import recipes and then I make changes to it and I learn how I prefer to cook I wish they would set something up to export the recipe in a nicely formatted pdf I would like to print some recipes so I dont have my device around my food mess I also think it would be need if I could send recipe PDFs to a printing site to create my own cookbooks Love love love this app

Wanted a better way to track my intake for bulking and cut cycles rather than me inserting nutritional facts into my home built database This has virtually nothing for use and every item I looked up or scanned through the app had no nutritional value added in so I started filling in the blanks and realized I just paid someone so I could rebuild my database Waste of money Do not buy this
I purchased this app hoping it would easily help me in planning daily meals for training Its a good app overall however when loading recipes it requires that you input each ingredient needed along with the nutritional information This process is extremely cumbersome and too time consuming for this app to be of assistance to me It would be great if it linked to an online food database to pull nutritional information Needs automation

Trying to lose some weight and decided to get this app Half the weight loss battle is being in control That means planning and keeping track of what works So far it looks like this app will help me achieve my goals It will let me plan meals well in advance create a shopping list and even have it sorted by grocery department to reduce my time wandering store aisles being tempted to impulse buy snack foods I can even create a recipe base It will take some time to get the foods and recipes set up but it will be well worth it if it keeps me organized I am very pleased with the apps responsiveness and potential 4 stars Planning to succeed
I have been using this app for a little over a year Yes you will commit some time to data entry of your favorite recipes and grocery items But after this initial hump it just gets better and better with time and usage Saves me loads of time in planning out meals creating lists comparing prices and referencing back to what the plan for the week was thumb up from me I Love it

I purchased this app based on many positive reviews It looked like it would fit the bill for what I was looking for Sadly its lacking in true functionality and organization Id like to be able to list items we use on a frequent basis and choose from a drop down menu or a list I dont like that a meal menu is one line of items it should be broken down into protein vegetables carbohydrates etc or protein and side dishes For a family with food allergies the recipes that constantly pop up are annoying We cant eat whats being suggested and there seems to be no way to turn them off or delete them Overall I found the functionality not to live up to the promises Utterly disappointed Not user friendly
I just bought the app and cant import anything so far from approved sites I use Pintrest but my recipe pins come from approved sites So I tried finding the recipe on the approved site but so far its not working Disappointed

I bought this app for menu planning and for calorie counting There are several pictures that indicate that the app would be useful in both categories It has tremendous flexibility as a menu planner but not so much as a calorie counter without big effort Thefood database lacks much of the dietary information and requires a manual entry It comes with a product code scanner but in a random sample from my pantry about half werent in the database This app just requires too much effort to use Almost Useful

I use this app to collect and use all my recipes It is far better than any other What I like most is being able to download any recipe from the web no matter how obscure the website Its also very easy to edit a recipe I dont use much of its capabilities and it doesnt force you to use them That allows you to decide how you want to use it I recommend it to anyone Wonderful App

Theres nothing intuitive about this application nor are there enough ingredients in its data base Even using the search the web option comes back with ridiculously limited options Its very labor intensive to build a menu and takes entirely too much time adding individual ingredients Perhaps a much much larger data base would be helpful Uninstalling and a waste of money for me Labor intensive

I have been looking for an app that would allow me to import recipes it does enter them manually it does plan meals yep and make shopping lists ditto what it does not do correctly is scale recipes which I really need It appears that this feature was added partially but the bugs were not worked out so it is basically useless I would also like if the USDA nutritional database information which is public were linked to this app so full nutritional info could be imported what it does do it does pretty well Pretty Good but seems to lack updates
I like this app and have used it for about a month I thought I would sinc it with the website using my computer for more versatility Well today when I opened the app on my iPad some of my recipes were ok some were copied title only some had their ingredients missing and some where a scramble of of ingredients While I find it humorous to see that according to my app I should make quesadillas is the same way that I would make Hawaiian haystacks substituting 3 breasts granola bars chopped for the chicken and adding chopped Nutella it will be a pain to go through and correct the many errors left behind Dont use sinc unless you are ok with recipes scrambled

Love that you can import recipes from all over Even if I make something differently I first find a similar recipe someplace to import it and then I can modify it Its a little clunky at first but it gets easier to use You can use a couple features at a time as you learn it I am very homemakingchallenged but this is a great app and is helping me get there Recommended Great app gets better as you use it
