Match.com - #1 Dating Site 1.8

by Scott Levitt I`m very glad to see they`ve finally brought this app back and updated it for the iPhone 5! The update wouldn`t work for me last night, but downloaded fine today.

Yes, you need a paid account to use the app, but match.com is pretty much useless unless you pay anyway. The app is much faster than using the mobile site and navigation is very fast.

by Cody J. After the latest update that now REQUIRES to be a paid subscriber you cannot use the app at all unless subscribed. Before you could at least use some of the features. This is very important as there are lots of similar services that do not require a paid subscription to use ANY of their services so being able to at least sample some of the features/services of this particular website/app would greatly influence people`s decision on whether or not they want to invest in said subscription.

I immediately uninstalled after this update and will NOT be getting a paid subscription (was debating it before) as I feel there are other free alternatives, out of principle that they have taken away something previously available, and because I feel that requiring the subscription is a way for them to try and get more people to subscribe.

Try other free alternatives before jumping the gun and paying for match.com. You never know, you may find what you`re looking for elsewhere.
