I have been using this app for years to run spreadsheets for calculating bidding jobs You can design the spreadsheet however you want and it will crunch the numbers for you I chose it because it worked better than any other options I could find I just got a notice from my iphone that this version will no longer be supported with the next ios Hoping the developers will update Also if you are listening developers please include a file search option with updated version The app works so well that i now have hundreds of files for it and its getting hard to manually search through them all                     Great spreadsheet app Grateful Podcast Listener

I updated to 4 3 while still running 9 3 5 When I enter a letter into a previously entered cell and hit return the screen goes black the program closes and all unsaved info is lost If the cell is empty and I add info hit return all is fine This didn t happen until I updated     Update to 4 3 running 9 x input to cell crashes Trefarmer

Calc XLS is now my go to spreadsheet app I have so many apps from mariner on my laptop and for iOS and for the most part I have had great experiences with everything Mariner flavored oceany maybe Calc XLS is their shining star in my opinion Macjournal is a close second for me though Thanks for the broad support base I m still using my iPad 2 iOS 5 1 1 offline most of the time because it s not safe but on my local network I m not too worried Calc XLS works great in iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and iPad 3 also It s good to see a few developers out there who are looking past the latest version of iOS Image if every developer dropped support for previous desktop OS with every update If windows 8 was released and all developers just stopped supporting windows 7 I feel like some kind of tron 2 meme goes here There would be riots in the streets why is it ok for iOS Shutters end rant Anyway this app has come a long way I deleted Office2 HD and QuickOffice after the latest Calc XLS update was released I say if you need a serious spreadsheet app and don t want to pay for a subscription fee or use a dead app acquired by some massive company only to smother the app with lack of updates quickoffice and office2 cough look no further                     Bravo Obis11

I have been needing a spreadsheet on my iPad Once you figure out that the icons on the menu bar are the same as file edit options view and format you can find everything you need I like the splits and freezes under the eyeball view on the menu bar and the formatting under the A on the menu bar It is almost easier to set up a spreadsheet on the iPad than a computer once you get the hang of it I use functions a lot and this has given me all I need                     Best spreadsheet Robin.A.Johnson
