What a great little app I found out about the app in a column on the Air France magazine last year and I can t believe how handy it s been since I travel a good amount and I love tagging great restaurants in every city that I go to and the ability to share makes it even more handy Having the option to tag different categories restaurants discotheques stores etc also makes it easy to look for all your saved places at a glance and the list option sorts places based on distance so if you save recommendations from friends you can find out how close you are to all of them and make a decision based on that Legitimately very happy and I wish the developer a lot of success                     If you don t live under a rock this app is for YOU JuanKmil0

Such a no brainer Before I have used shared a Google Map with friends for my recommended spots but that was so clunky annoying to update and doesn t translate well to mobile This app is the exact opposite Love the interface The tags are my favorite They ve thought of everything I have only encountered one bug one night it wasn t allowing me to add places It was recognize the name in the search bar but then I d get an error message when I hit add Strange but only once so far Great app I wish everyone used it                 What I ve been waiting for FolkLver

I just love this I was frustrated with yelp gmaps showing me tons of places I would never go I used to have a list of places to try ideas of things to do Now I can see what s close to each other when I m hopping around town                     Love this app operamonkie

I don t think I ve ever written a review for an app before but felt compelled to here This thing has been an absolute godsend I don t know how they plan to monetize it but I hope the developers are swimming in a vault of money like Scrooge McDuck already I used to keep an insane amount of lists in Evernote to remember bars and restaurants of different kinds I had a cheap food list I had a date night list a cocktails and cheese plates list etc etc My wife and I would get so annoyed looking at all the lists to pick a spot that we almost swore off food and drinking and fun completely Then this handy dandy app comes along and PROBLEM SOLVED You can tag as many places as you want with as many tags as you want and search em all with one tap Gives you a visual map a detailed tag based description of your choosing and MAYBE best of all you can write your own notes for each place you tag I ve been using the notes feature to write down each place s happy hour specials Takes away the need for a Happy Hour finder app which are all trash anyway and puts all that info right there every time you click the place You can also add your own notes like best Mac and Cheese I ve ever had or bathrooms are gross but drinks are cheap whatever you want to be helpful to your future self I ve just convinced some friends to hop on the app so I could see how the social feature works and so far I think it s extremely cool You can click on your friends maps and see everything they ve tagged and if you see somewhere you would like to try or that you would otherwise like to add to your own list one click adds it to your own map You can also share recommendations for people by pulling one of your tagged locations and clicking share and this comes in MIGHTY handy for all my out of town friends who come to the city being needy and asking for recommendations for everything from coffee to specifically Creole food to yadda yadda Pull up a tag send them a few done I also find it really great for tagging places in other cities that I would otherwise never remember Went to Denver a while back and ate at a few places that I would like to try again when I go back Tag em here and I won t forget The feature to import your tagged locations from Instagram and Facebook is a GENIUS tool for helping with this as I would have already forgotten the names of a lot of out of town spots I ve visited and wanted to tag I don t know how it took so long for an app like this to come out but man I m glad it did Give your notes on your phone a break and put everything well organized in one place when it comes to where ya wanna eat or drink or activities you d like to do or that cool mechanic you went to once It doesn t have to be so hard Mapstr has made it incredibly easy and actually fun This will probably be my ONE review because I m just that enthused about this thing Sorry for making it a novel But yeah The app is very very good and very very useful Get it                     Most Useful New App in AGES joecardosi

I never write app reviews but the team behind Mapstr should know they have impacted my life for the better by developing it I live in NYC and keeping track of that one place we went to last month with the great dessert has been a problem in my life for years Google is still behind and Apple has no real solution In comes Mapstr with the radically simple idea of tagging locations and utilizing a strong set of integrations with other services instead of reinventing the wheel I m looking forward to seeing development continue and what other features the team cooks up There is definitely room for improvement here and the potential monetization strategies in the future will hopefully propel this app forward without intrusive in app ads Features I want Yelp integration I want to see yelp ratings Public maps I want to be able to share a map with a friend without them joining double edged sword for growth I realize though Map view search Redesigned tagging the tagging interface could use some TLC from a ux maestro More releases keep on developing                 Fantastic dgbreme
