Mantis NASS Bible Study

First off I love this app Its an incredible tool that I use and teach from However as of late it has been crashing unexpectedly and would have major problems when rotating from landscape to portrait Mainly you cannot open any of the books of the bible when you rotate Please update and fix soon I had to delete and reinstall and subsequently lost all my notes and highlights        Bugs and crashing

Cant use Crashes everytime I really wanted this software to work     Crash

Greatest App that I have It is worth every penny Its like having eSword in your pocket They update VERY frequently and have the quickest support ever I HIGHLY recommend it                 Wonderful

I bought this app based on the reviews and then tried to use it tonight It doest seem to have a lot of little functionalities that I would hope for but I was willing to keep using it and learn everything I could before I gave up on it I opened it and I can see ANYTHING in the read part of the application The text wont load I am going to keep trying but I am not happy with the lack of intuitivity        Not happy wish I could get my money back

The Strongs Cross Reference stopped working after the last iOS update Please fix        Strongs Cross Reference

I love this app It is 99 awesome I only have one request When you click on a verse to analyze it with a commentary and you click the right arrow at the top of the screen to move to the next verse it does not move to the next verse Please fix Also please add an option that allows the reader to scroll read while the commentary is showing at all times between the verses                 Needs one bug fix

It hangs after starting then restarts iphone I tried reinstalling twice THIS APP NEEDS TO WORK     Wont start after load

I have the free Mantis Bible the NASS and the NIV on my IPad I use these Mantis Bible programs as my primary personal Bible I keep all of my notes in this Bible and appreciate the online backup support that Mantis provides so that there is no worry of losing my notes The Strongs app is wonderful and so easy to use I did have a recent problem with the app crashing after Mantis did an update in December 2010 I emailed Mantis and within 5 minutes I had a Mantis rep who I corresponded with by email back and forth so that within 20 minutes we were able to determine that I needed to update my IPad OS from 313 to 421 This cured the problem immediately Thanks Mark from Mantis The support from Mantis was quick and efficient even though I emailed the problem at midnight on New Years Eve The tech did not give up until he found the problem which was with my outdated IPad OS system Great programs and great support                 Wonderful Bible Study

Great tool but crashes often They dont appear to collect crash data and updates are few It still does not support the larger screen size of the iPhone 5 very disappointing The voice addon I found a great but and surprising pleasant to listen toespecially for 199 Btw I chose Ryan voice and slowed down the speech a bit Its not an audio book but quite good           Mantis

Too bad they dont seem to have the integrity to support a pretty expensive app Very disappointing     Unusable still on iPhone 6 in Mar 2015

Great app but would greatly appreciate an update to support the larger screen size on newer iPhones              Please update

I like this program I decided it is the best among those I looked at for the iPhone The features most important to me include 1 Its easy to navigate from one part of scripture to another All I have to do is tap the book name which presents me with a matrix of all the books on the screen the same time so I dont have to scroll Then its 1 tap to select the book 1 tap for chapter and 1 tap for verse Its really easy 2 It has a nice full screen mode accessed by doubletapping That is in one mode its packed with marked up text buttons etc to help you access all the features but then when Ive found what I want to read I just double tap and Im left with just the clean text 3 Once you get the hang of it it has all the features Ive gotten used to from other computer programs However I have one complaint Normally seeing new versions to the program is good news but for this program Ive found that with almost every update all the data gets wiped I end up losing my bookmarks and history I have to redownload all the books Ive purchased and reassign all my preferences Fortunately Ive gotten good at it and I dont think Ive lost anything Ive purchased but its still tedious              updates keep breaking my installation

Ive been using this app for nearly 3 years It keeps getting better and better with each update Back up your notes and bookmarks That is incredibly important to me On the iPhone 4 this app is buttery smooth and faster than using my paper bible Very handy Buy it                 Best study bible

I have used this software since the first month it was released This software is amazing every update brings it closer to my own computer bible study tool On my MacBook Pro i have Libronix which is an amazing bible software and out of all the bible tools on the app store this is as close as it gets This program is amazing and the best out there for any mobile platform I highly recommend this software to anyone who is looking for more than just a bible                 Amazing Tool

I have been using Mantis Olive Tree and a couple of free Bible apps for two months now Mantis has far and away the best functionality Release 40 is awesome The Analyze Verse option is awesome I even bought this for my sons ipod touch Highlighting this is critical for me Notes given Im typing on a ipod touch these are very short but are handy The only issue for me is that they lack the ESVSB They tell me they intend to get it Well see 5 stars when they get the ESVSB I dont use Olive Tree anymore Mantis is parked at the bottom of my ipod touch home screen              Best Bible SW Functionality

This is the best Bible app in the app store and on any mobile device platform It is the closes thing to the advance desktop software that I have used As Pastor I have had the priviledge of using many Great stuff                 THE BEST AVAILABLE

I have only been able to use the app maybe 45 times Other than that it never fully opens It opens visibly for about a half a second and then immediately crashes For the amount of money I spent on an application for my phoneI am extremely displeased     Very disappointed

This is the best bible study app Ive found Previous versions have been perfect This one keeps closing when I switch books If this gets fixed I would give 5 stars I love the strongs and the search capabilities Note taking bookmarks and the ability to add notes make this study bible hands down the best one on the iPadiPhone and worth the high price tag           All and all great app But a bit buggy

This is a great app and really helpful when it works It hasnt been updated in so long it doesnt support the new operating systems Please update the app so I can use this beauty on my phone again and update my review        Loved this app when it worked

I would highly recommend this App Ok so lets state the obvious it is not cheap but is worth every penny if you are a bible student The developer probably had to pay rights for NASB to use The positives well designed and easy to drill down into the meanings of words This is a must if you like doing word studies It really gives you a deeper understanding of the verse when you see how many times the original Greek used the word and in how many different verses I also purchase another module on his website the Vines Expository Dictionary it was dead simple to then sync with phone and have it download Thank you for making my Christian experience so much richer and deeper with this great App                 Well Designed

I really liked this app at first But now I cant get it to load anything in read mode so it is useless to me     Mantis Bible Study

This app is stunning I can analyze side by side different versions of the bible I can place notes highlight search click on a name to find out more I can click on commentary to get better insight about the verse I read This app is extremely powerful and should be the standard in e text books at college I can finally read the bible and understand it thanks to this Nass version with strong I am a novice to the bible and this app makes it FUN to read the bible Sure some of the downloadable content is pricey but its far cheaper than a college course The maps and two commentaries I downloaded really augment this Nass version and give me a powerful bible I cannot get over how easy it is to find a verse name or place Thanks mantis                 Unbelieveable
