Mail Pilot is an email client that allows you to view your inbox as a to-do list in which messages can be marked as complete, assigned a due date, or organized intuitively to fit your ...
An amazing update Keep the support coming                 An amazingish update
Definitely this is not the email client you are expecting for your iPhone dont waste your money it is too much     Bloated
I bought this against my better judgment even though it was 999 I currently am a heavy user of Mailbox I kind of did it out of spite because Mailbox has yet to update natively for the Apple Watch and thats the one thing Mail Pilot 2 does Unfortunately while this is a solid piece of software its still not as flexible on the Remind Me aspect as Mailbox is If MailPilot allowed for reminders of mail to be up to the minute then I think it would be top notch but as for now only allowing reminders to be 15 days instead of up to the minute tomorrow evening the weekend etc such as Mailbox is not enough for me Also Mailbox is free if you are going to charge 999 I would expect this to have all the feature and more Ill consider switching if it comes up to par with Mailbox Otherwise to me its still not in the same league despite the redesign           Still not as flexible as Mailbox
I bought this app a year ago waited for the 20 release and participated in the beta testing I was surprised when it was released as there is still much work to be done It is very buggy as other reviewers have said Given all the hours I spent beta testing this on my own time Im a little frustrated At this time I cannot recommend this app Maybe in 46 months from now In the meantime the free Outlook app is a great alternative UPDATE Use Readdles Spark instead It free and does everything this app does and more        Still buggy
The user interface and functionality are exceptional I love the capability of scheduling emails to remind you to respond or act Great concept My only complaint is the iPad version seems to crash a lot on my iPad mini But overall it is the best mail app I have used              Love this Mail Clientmost of the time
I really want to love this app It has so much going for it but the fact that all signatures come out double spaced is a deal breaker Its really ugly looking and cant be used professionally Support basically told me sorry theres nothing we can do about that Interesting since no other email apps have this HTML issue        Such Promise
First off it crashes when I go into a single IMAP account Second I cant tell what account my mail is coming in on Im assuming the inbox is pulling all accounts in It just doesnt seem intuitive Images dont show up automatically I wish it were a bit simpler        I really wanted to like this app
Excellent app                 Outstanding
adding gmail account just throws up errors hmm no support for oauth fail     lame
I could never get multiple accounts to synch with desktop email clients I love how everything on iOS and Mac is seamless across all accounts                 Makes you like email again
I am using Mail Pilot on my Mac as well as my devices I havent had any stability issues with either version I like the layout and it has helped me get organized I havent had an empty inbox in at least 4 years                 My Inbox is Empty
Im finally able to cut the Mac Mail app cord with this latest release Usability has been greatly improved It is improving the way I can stay on top of all of my email messages by allowing me to use the Remind and Set Aside options to unclutter my inbox Recommend              Much better after redesign
Sometimes the app lets me know I have an email and sometimes it doesnt Emails I swipe to deletearchive keep reappearing I wouldnt purchase it right now if I were you        Sporadic Notifications and reappearing emails
Mail Pilot makes checking my email significantly more enjoyable It makes me feel like Im accomplishing something every time I open it Truly outstanding product                 Exceptional
This is a great tool for sorting through my emails quickly and dispatching them to the proper place whether it is completed the trashcan or another app It is so much easier to get through the ton of mail I get every day with Mail Pilot 2 If you tried the earlier versions you really need to give this version a chance because it is infinitely better                 Great Mail Client for Mobile
Going to rewrite my review I really hate leaving a somewhat negative review for such a great concept Its been several months since 20 Initially this app was garbage Even during 20 release Theyve updated it and patched up the bugs Its working much better than it has ever been Customer service has been really helpful Not sure if they hired new staff or what but theyre much better now There are still some minor glitches Syncing is really slow I dont recommend this to someone who is a power email user There are times when the email doesnt come through but will not load the contents for a few mins Hopefully they continue patching this But I would be easy to purchase it as of now definitely keep checking back to see if its on sale or if theyve made major improvements           Read this before buying
Mail Pilot is the best email application Ive used for iPhone iPad and Mac Version 2 is phenomenal the interface and interactions create a really fun and productive email experience Each update adds even more polish                 Awesome email experience
I liked Mail Pilot from the get go but there were tons of bugs at first yet the aesthetics and concept kept me hoping and rooting for a great development team They came through and then some This beautifully crafted app is a pleasure to use simple to learn and most importantly incredibly useful I finally have inbox zero and the ability to set reminders and create folders help me remember important emails that used to get buried in the plethora of messages I had sitting in my inbox Whether you are into GTD or not Mail Pilot will help you keep your email in check I highly recommend it and thank the developer for returning my inquiries so promptly and courteously                 A rocky rollout is now perfect
Cant connect to Gmail or any other mail account     Lousy App
Simple app clean              Simple
I started at 5 stars because if it worked it would be AMAZING Then I removed 1 star for freezing up every time I try to add more than one email address to an outgoing email Then I removed 1 star for it frequently not updatingsyncing the inbox with the current server information even when forcing a sync Then I removed 1 star for it consistently freezing when navigating multiple emails in a threaded conversation Finally I removed a star for all the frustration it has caused me because every time I try it and am disappointed yet again by it I have to go into my IMAP server and reorganize it because of all the directories and subdirectories this application creates that make no sense outside of MailPilot     Dont they have QA Engineers
I love technology and use multiple email clients for different attributes This is the first app that has actually been so difficult to use that it made me angry Not intuitive tricky rather than useful and hiding literally basic and necessary functions behind a whizzy interface Cant find any upside     Save your money
This app utilizes a wonderful perception about email its either complete or not complete This app works wonderfully with Gmail iCloud and Yahoo Signed in and syncing without any issues The email interface is very clean and elegant and the sync reliability is very good The only issue Ive seen so far is if I complete or move an email on my iPhone it either takes a long time to show as such on my iPad or Mac or doesnt update at all the email is still in the inbox The developers have done a great job fixing issues that were present in version 1 and this app is becoming something that I cannot live without Great work The developers also keep working to improve this app and are doing a great job listening to feedback from the reviews here Those that are rating this app as 1 star are not logically considering all aspects of this app Id be frustrated too if my Outlook server wasnt working right But a homespun email server not working with a professional app isnt really the fault of the app or the developers The latest update added the ability to change the swipe actions Swiping left can now bring up a list of my lists to put a message in Awesome work                 Exceptional Email Client
Update for current version Using this app is like one of those boxes that have a single unlabeled switch on the top When you flip the switch on a finger comes out from behind a panel and immediately turns it off In theory this app allows one to select several messages and apply an action The problem is about the time youve selected the 2nd or 3rd message the 1st one deselects itself You see where this is going Ive deleted this app for the second and final time Original review Excellent idea combined with an awful user interface I really wanted to like this app and gave it an honest effort for two weeks Dont waste your money     No Update NO
Very nice and straight forward to use Im sure this will be a 5 star as they continue to improve details              Just started
It takes a little getting used to but when you get the hang of it its a wonderful method to handle your email Keep that Inbox clean you dont leave your paper mail in your mailbox do you                 Clutterfree email management
I like the concept of this app but it has critical bugs for example it keep reappearing even when I delete it As somebody reviewed it it looks like still a beta early version of beta I hope addresses all bugs soon        I like the concept but
This makes me excited to check email again Its not very intuitive but once you watch the video its so easy to use Email is so less stressful And the smiley face is a great touch                 Wonderful app
A great rewrite of what was a buggy app Efficient mail app and no syncing your mail to 3rd party servers However there is still some intermittent crashing and navigation could use some reworking           V20 is better
Mail Pilot on all my Mac devices has kept my emails in sync Not to mention that every update comes with new improved features Thank you for such a useful app                 20 is just what I was hoping for
I really wanted to like this app Bought for my iOS devices and Mac However I could never get syncing to work reliably It worked sometimes and then without changing any settings it would stop working I went through all the troubleshooting steps restarting the devices turning iCloud off making sure I was using the same iCloud account etc only to find unrelenting inconsistency I hope they fix itIm back to Mail on my Mac and Outlook on my iOS devices Grrr     Just Say No
It was easy to add my gmail accounts and it works great Their support is very responsive about some suggestions and feedback              Great update
Was working great until update to 21 Now many emails wont open app becomes unresponsive and then entire ios slows to crawl memory leak Seen with iPhone 5s and iPad Air           21 update causing issues
I love the simple Clean interface                 Great app very easy to use
I HATE writing negative reviews Specially about an app I really want to use and love the concept But enough is enough Yes it has gotten better but still it does it work right For example I just tried to delete the same email 6 times on the iPhone app and it would not Last night I cleared my inbox using the iPhone app Then today at noon I opened my app in the iPad to find all those emails that I cleared last night are back in my inbox If you get the desktop app I stopped using it it gets even worst When I write support all I am told that they are aware of it and working on it That when the new desktop app comes out it will get fixed Yet my problems has nothing to do with the desktop app Since day one the developers of Mail Pilot has been promising and under delivering at every step of the way They care more about that it works with the Apple watch than the app actually works I am tired of empty promises and I have to write a negative review This is the most expensive mail app in the market It should work Stay away from the empty promises of Mail Pilot and use one of many great free mail apps     Tired of empty promises that it will one day work right Save your money
Im amending my review regarding the notifications I now understand how polling works and it really is out of Mail Pilots hands But seriously any real email app contender for the home screen is doing itself a disservice if theyre going to rely on some nebulous concept of iOS dictating the frequency on its own based on usage CloudMagic gets this but Mail Pilot and Boxer dont and it really leads to a questionable first impressions when it takes a week to even start receiving notifications Just seems like this wouldve high on the list of priorities Original review Ive been following the v2 release for a while and was super excited about potentially using it for my work email since the folks at Mailbox are working to add IMAP clients at a glacial pace it seems This is a pretty good release it works its snazzy it does the things I was looking for it to do and it has a desktop version However like other reviewers have complained Im not getting any notifications I did see the setting for fetching and turned it on though I dont fully understand what it means when it says it will check based on iOS and on my usage With Mail I can specify specific intervals but I apparently cant do that here and I have yet to receive anything When this issue is addressed I would probably bump my grade up to 4 The other thing that seems strange is Im not seeing any settings for a badge count Maybe Im just missing something Really should be a feature I think              Needs push otherwise okay
Likes polish color themes font crossplatform experience reminders Dislikes no custom notification sound no custom IOS8 interactive notifications stuck on Reminder and Complete need option to add Delete the swipe down to get to get everywhere menu needs a second look to easy to activate apple pull down menu Consider a pull down transparent action menu ie unread starred reminders etc when you tap on Inbox needs better search functionality the little circle on the left hand side of messages in Inbox view Any way to turn it off Ive accidentally hit this little circle many times on an email and it disappeared Need a 3 second undo button here           Good Overall App Needs Fine Tuning
This version I like better Sometimes still a bit confusing worth having to swipe down to get to the dashboard Also sending to spam should be readily available but I had to create a folder especially for that              Cant create an account
I have used a multitude of mail apps and this one has stuck the longest I am a big fan of having an empty in box and this app Rocks I also love that it syncs on all of my devices                 My favorite mail app
Well done Hokies Love the update Its exactly what I would have recommended                 Well done Hokies
I will be honest I had high hopes for an alternate to mailbox due to drop box storing copies of my email 10 was no go for me but 20 is worlds apart better and ready for prime time Thank you thank you thank you                 Finally It is great
Now it is much nicer and easier to use And much less buggy I definitely recommend MailPilot I have purchased the app and the Mac version and use it everyday across all my devices If you like to stay organized this is the best approach to it that is out there The developers have worked hard to create something I have waited for so long to have and could never find Ive always used my inbox and a todo list and now I truly do that with MailPilot and everything is synced across all my devices iMac at office iMac at home MacBook Pro in my bag my iPad and iPhone on the go Just incredible              Much much better
The app is not terrible and it works ok overall but it needs quite a bit of polish The scroll bar lag scrolling through messages is really annoying For 10 there are several free or cheap apps like CloudMagic Inbox or Outlook     Just ok
Nice app but until it has a builtin calendar tab it will never replace the new Outlook mail app My calendar is just as important as my email for work so the app gets 3 stars for now           No calendar cant replace Outlook app for Exchange
Beautiful looking program but is completely inconsistent Youll have to check other programs to see if you have any incoming mail Totally unacceptable Dont waste your money     Great concept Just doesnt work
This is a well designed app with a very clever interface The app is supported by a very prompt and knowledgeable support team located in nearest thing to Heaven USA                 Excellent App
It looks like the team really took the time to iron out the kinks when releasing version 2 Smooth operation and responsive app Still dig the Mail Pilot concept and like the new features in v2                 Liking v2
Mail Pilot is a nice email solution for iOS as well as the Mac Ive had more fun dispatching old mail than I thought possible I would recommend trying both iOS and Mac if you can for a great email experience I didnt want to change how I processed mail but Mail Pilot makes it easy and fast                 Email has a new friend
Took a chance and got both iphone and mac versions Can say both are synchronized and working well Love the way it handles my inbox                 Working well
If you use multiple email accounts and keep different folders in each this app will ruin everything I reported the problem multiple times the response None If youre a power email user this app will destroy your email folder structure with abandon Customer service None This app should be listed under Games     Major Functional Flaws
