MAD Magazine (Cheap!)

I have contacted the company twice asking when this app would be fixed and have never received a response I have wasted my money buying a subscription Impossible to read any issues     Do not buy

The app has had issues its entire digital life missing issues signing in repeatedly required general badness in app form It got better for a while now the last two issues have lost the ability to navigate back to the Library so once youve downloaded and opened an issue thats all ya got You can read that issue but you cant get to the main menu delete the issue download and read other issues nuttin I love having Mad Magazine on the iPad my son confiscates my paper copies on arrival but sadly due to horrendous app issues Im stuck on a desert island alone Again     Great magazine horrible app

Clearly there is no intent to make this app functional It has been broken for months I deleted the app reloaded it and it promptly told me I have no internet connection At least this saves me the aggravation of the past when I would download an issue then the very next day it would make me reenter my subscription info and redownload the issue to look at it again     BROKEN

Maybe its an issue with iOS8 but now my magazines open then close I wouldnt purchase until this is fixed     Magazines open then immediately close

They better fix or refund Iso8 has screwed it up and now it wont work There is a new issue available and I cant read it because I updated     Shiv

App worked great before iOS 8 After update to iOS 8 it crashes every time I try to load I even tried deleting and uninstalling several times with no success Good thing I still get the print edition     App and iOS 8 do not work ever

So I guess if you have an iPad Version 1 iOS 511 you can no longer access your subscription or your library How screwed up is that Who is going to refund me the remainder of my subscription and the 3600 I invested in back issues How about providing some sort of contact info for those of us you left hanging Better still try putting a software fix in play that solves this problem Come on we deserve better than this     Lost Purchases

Bought a yearly subscription to mad for something to read on vacation paid 999 and it still wont acknowledge my purchase Please fix because I like this magazine and have been reading it since I was a little rascal If not I would like a refund     Wont download subscription

Even though I have a digital subscription it is always a challenge when a new issue comes out The app wants me to purchase it Someone please fix this New subscribers be forewarned     Frustrating

If you think this is anything like the old Mad magazine you will be very disappointed This is really stupid     badbadbad

I love MAD Magazine with all of my soul and spirit but after I updated my iPad the last time all of my magazines like 10 archived and none of them will download completely after 5 days of trying Please fix this app I cant live without my MAD           I Love MAD but download problems

I just subscribed to the digital edition of Mad Magazine on iPad I had recently updated to IOS 802 As soon as I click in the newsstand on the food isue 529 it crashes Jim on Sept30 2014     What the heck I cannot see my purchased issue

The app was working fine till I switched to iOS 8 and hasnt been working since The app crashes on startup with a EXCCRASH SIGABRT exception The App Support link send to you an FAQ rather than a support mail to the developers which isnt helpful     App breaks with iOS 8

It used to just be a nonothing app that at least provided digital copies of a classic mag Verticalonly format very limited table of contents to figure out if you wanted to purchase and a limited number of mags to choose from But now they are offering 99 cent sales on issues I cant even find on the app And theres no contact link to even tell them theres a problem        Great mag Crappy app keeps getting worse

MAD is hands down my favorite magazine since I was little I am so frustrated right now I am on my second year subscribing through my iPad and it wont let me download the newest issue Well it will if I pay 499 BUT I already renewed for another year Also why are the magazines available at the store way before their available as a digital copy PLEASE fix this I really want to corrupt and pollute my mind damnit I will gladly make this five stars once I can access the magazines I paid for Thanks     Please Fix This App

I purchased a years subscription in March I am utterly disappointed in this app Cant download new issues without paying etc How do I cancel this travesty of a subscription I know I will lose my money but frankly I just dont care BTW I had to give this one star to post this but if I could I would give it ZERO stars     How do I cancel

Latest update introduced a bug where every few pages you get a white one that takes a few seconds to fill in Really disrupts reading Otherwise its awesome but this needs to be fixed        White screen interrupts reading

Everytime I try and read my issues the app quits I have to figure out where I was in the magazine and when I open the page it closes again This may not be the apps fault so I say take my review with a grain of salt as I have not verified whether the app is the problem or not My other apps dont do it so it makes me think that it is indeed the app     Take this with a grain of salt

The Obama dog issue designed for iPad goes grey indicating you can turn it sideways It doesnt work and tapping the screen doesnt allow the issues selection to pop up So I cant get to any of my purchases About 35 dollars down the drainor complete reinstallation and the high cost of all the megabytes downloaded again booooo     Broken

I love mad magazine always have but this app needs to seriously be compatible with iPhone since I dont have an iPad Now that the iPhone 6 is larger I would definitely resubscribe again via iPhone if it ever has compatibility     REALLY NEEDS TO BE COMPATIBLE WITH IPHONE

Mad magazine is a pretty good publication which is why it saddens me to see such a poorly thoughtout app For starters even parts of the help screen are obscured hidden by the rubber banding behavior Then there are the subscriptions which are listed in the store section looking just like any other magazine with the exception of the title being subscription instead of a magazine title It took me 5 minutes to realize where they were The app also comes with a preview issue but unlike most newsstand apps where the preview is the first thing you see it is stuffed under the my issues section The magazines themselves are pretty good but the app consistently fails to hold my place with it jettisoning me back to the cover more often than not        Ironically this app is a joke

I got a notification from the app today that the new issue is ready to download but when I opened the app the issue is neither available in my library to download nor is it getting restored by clicking on the Missing Issues button which just responds with Restored d issues On the other hand the new issue is available under the Store tab to purchase for 499 This is quite frustrating adding to the injury of being unable to get a digital issue at the same time as the print edition     Unable to download current issue

Dont know if anyone else has the same problem I have a fast uncapped wifi but the magazines dont download It starts then stops halfway and when you click download it starts from the top again just to stop halfway     Download problems

Terrible I bought a subscription then when I updated the app I lost it     I want my money back

While I appreciate the low price when subscribing each new issue recently brings problems This time it was an alert yesterday about a new issue but no new issue available Today the issue is available if I want to pay for it Which is annoying because Im a subscriber Even Restore Purchases doesnt help So Ive just gone into my account and disabled the AutoRenew I might have stayed around longer and tolerated the tech issues but the magazine just isnt that funny any more     Thats it all done with MAD
