Switched to a digital subscription thinking this would do the job Many nice elements however the app is ruined by the overly intrusive ads that seem impossible to exit out of Latest example was an iPhone 6 ad which was designed to show off the photography of the device Swiping left and right brought more ad photo examples The tap at top for menu function is disabled I get that for a second or two but when you are scrambling around for a solid minute trying to get out of the freaking ad it gets more than frustrating Exited out of the app Hard closed it opened it up again to find I am still in the ad No thanks     The ads ruin it Buddhaish

Every time the app is updated I lose all of my account data This has unfortunately happened every time The app when you can actually get at the information is nicely presented but getting such access is both a pain and a chore Customer service is unresponsive to digital problems This app is not yet ready for prime time When they get the login and update stability issue fixed i will revisit the review and maybe change my rating Until then I hold little hope for a resolution to he access issues     Every update brings new challenges Lythande

At first it seemed fine I m a print subscriber and I was able to register and download issues But when I actually wanted to read those issues nada It kept not recognizing me and having server issues     Doesn t work EDPVAC
I have turned my iPad off and restarted it I have gone to settings and told it to update my library to reset my subscription Nothing works My library is gone It wants me to repurchase every issue I ve already paid for and the current issue that should still be covered by my subscription What the heck This is useless I ll be asking for my subscription money refunded completely if this isn t fixed soon because every issue has been taken away from me     Do you guys test these updates Eclev

Good magazine terrible app I ve had nothing but problems trying to get this to work reliably Editions will download but are un viewable my account goes into limbo for no reason and I stop getting updates I get an error telling me to email support Rogers and i get a reply that my account doesn t exist so I email MacLean s support and get no reply at all I d ask for my money back but I m not sure who to ask Just horrible Avoid at all costs     Horrible dualie

Used to use older versions of macleans app on an iPad 1 and was happy with them Stopped using an ipad for about a year Just got a new iPad retina display Magazines downloaded when I open them the pages show in thumbnails fine but when I open a page just pictures with no captions and black space where the articles should be Come on macleans stop hiring laid off rim employees if you don t want to go backwards in technology Oh yeah and thanks the refund on my cancelled print subscription will help pay for the new iPad     Great pictures no text STKelley
I m a regular Maclean s Magazine Reader When I bought my New iPad 3rd generation I decided to activate my subscription The activation went quickly and I could download the latest issue There were no problems downloading the issues and when a new one was available it was downloaded automatically no problems again The magazine was formatted as it is in print Everything was fine until I started reading THERE IS NO SUPPORT FOR THE NEW iPad s RETINA DISPLAY The text looked awful It wasn t that visible unless you hold the iPad TEN INCHES from your eyes Maclean s Magazine Crew Please add support for the Retina Display on the New iPad And then I ll rate it 5 stars             Good but 07Chinchilla

The text on the magazine pages looks terrible on the new iPad It needs to be rewritten to use Apple s APIs to properly render text on the retina display The downloads are also huge compared to other magazines I hope there is an update coming soon Since I paid for a subscription specifically for the electronic version I m disappointed         Text looks terrible on the new iPad CanadianBurger416
How do I get any support for problems My app is not downloading any content I have a good wifi connection so the communications link is not the problem The store does not show any covers but it does show the issue dates and download buttons Downloads do not work I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times with no luck however it registers my subscription just fine I have used the app for 3 months with little problem but this problem showed up this week when attempting to access the new issue                     No support Andean connection
I want to echo a previous review Why can t this app keep my subscriber number from one issue to the next If you want the next edition you must delete your macleans subscriber Id It took a while to figure out what I had to do but that review clued me in What a pain Make this a priority in the next release please I gave it 3 stars because of this annoyance             Macleans magazine Snowbirdie

I purchased an annual subscription for 44 99 but I cannot seem to activate it I d like to download an issue but the issues don t seem to download automatically and it seems that I will have to pay the non subscription fee if I try to download any issue I have sent emails to Macleans but they are taking forever to resolve this Their FAQ s address questions for subscribers to the print edition but there are no guidelines for anyone who subscribes to the iPad edition only I m very disappointed obviously since it seems I have just thrown away 45 00     I would like my money back DCBY.
