I was afraid this would be another really dark story It is not It is colorful fastpaced and is keeping my interest The puzzles are good although not particularly difficult and the general level of difficulty is customizable Good job Just wanted to add an update congratulating the developers for the prettiest bonus chapter ever                 A

Exciting and challenging without using hints Its an okay story but the game play was long enough to keep me playing Good job to the creators                 Great game for your buck

This game is well done The puzzles are just the right amount of difficulty and its easy to navigate the scenes with the map feature Hours of relaxing fun                 Enjoyable game

This was a fun game and took me quite a while to get to the end of the game and bonus I managed at first without the map but as I progressed farther into the game there were so many places to go to finish missions I dont like a lot of running around in games but it worked well with the map I would have never bought otherwise Lots of puzzles but few HOs Graphics nice Good job              Fun game

This game is excellent It is enjoyable to combine the objects in the small hidden object puzzles so far I am playing the free chapters and as I progress I know I will purchase it to continue playing as it is a quality game with unique vibrant scenery unobtrusive music and the puzzles are challenging enough to keep me involved                 Lost Lands Dark Overlord HD

Ive been looking for a new Big Fish HO Game Having played quite a few Ive grown increasingly particular This one has it allinteresting flowing plot great graphics intriguing puzzles and HOs a helpful hint button lightening fast loading and teleporting map even the music is good The story reminds me of The Hobbit dwarves deep dark caves dragons and of course precious stones A real gem of a game                 PERFECT GAME

Wow Ive played just about every BF game in this genre this one is the Best yet Dark OverLord has it All The graphics are fantastic voice overs are great the hidden objects are unique challenging it has a transport map a hint button that actually helps other hidden items along the way a nice long trial period There is beautiful scenery I could go on onyou try it youre hooked Excellent job BF please make more like this one                 BEST Hidden ObjectAdventure Game Out

WOW I havent enjoyed a game this much in a while The storyline was interesting and involving The graphics were top notch Really beautiful The fluid and smoke effects were amazing for an iPad game The music was also significantly better than I expected Normally I turn the music off in settings because it is annoying and repetitive but this was well orchestrated and not unpleasant THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for labeling the items in the inventory It helps SO much Also thank you for the map that allows you to navigate especially since the story travels across a lot of territory Thank you for keeping the flow of the story logical Loved the new variations on HOGs such as moving rocks to get the key and finding objects in the scene that then have to be placed correctly back in the scene Appreciated being able to zoom in some HOG scenes since they were so detailed I missed things from a distance Seriously bravo Great game Big Fish More 5BN games please BTW I am just a happy consumer who stopped playing HOGmystery games for a while because I was unhappy with the quality of the games and have no connection to the developer                 A

I havent played yet but based on Snooper lets see if I add or subtract a star Thanx Snooper for the heads up on the Poe game Wont play and looks like other reviewers were disgusted by the RAT situation This game I will play because you think I can That means a lot And you were right The RAT wasnt shown in large zoom view and didnt jump out at you so I could do it and I really appreciate that you have confidence in me Yes I am supposed to be the type of cat that takes down all sorts of rodents However I was always a lazy spoiled Lynx who prefers fine champagne gourmet cuisine fur except Lynx and large diamonds Hence I do not like any RODENTS at all Yet as you know I have played many a game and still take them down I prefer beauty over RATS But dont we all Loved this game The graphics were beautiful the cutscenes were impressive and the HO scenes had good zoom capability There was instantaneous load between locations and lots of locations to unlock You were provided with a helpful journal updated task list and a teleport map with clearly marked actions The inventory was labeled The HO scenes were varied from lists to silhouettes to matching and my favorite unlocking one object with another and so on There were many varied puzzlesgames and most were a lot of fun I love ones where you get to paint or color You also got to build devices and create potions and spells The hint system did not spoil anything for you and there was a strategy guide The game was a decent length with bonus gameplay There were collectibles which I really dont like but I actually forced myself to look and found them all They gave you some pretty wallpapers as well as other extras Best of all the game ran smoothly for the most part It occasionally shut down my tablet but I never lost any progress I would definitely play the sequel without a rat of course BigFish I am not familiar with this game manufacturer but it sure does beat the always glitchy ERS So more from them please Also where is our 4th Empress My team as well as other reviewers really want a fourth one already You owe us after giving us a Poe game with disgusting RATS I am ready to check out the new Dire grove Hopefully Snooper Nambr and Dracyy have already checked it for Rats Happy Thanksgiving Dream Team and all the reviewers who really love me My Thanksgiving was actually ruined by my parents who cancelled on me last minute No surprise there Now we have to start thinking Christmas BigFish for Christmas we want a new Empress and a new House Of 1000 Doors Also some more gorgeous fairy tales And most certainly NO RATS                 Dark Overlord reviewed by LynxMinx

This game has a nice length trial It has everything I look for in a game Good Hint labeled inventory transport map Seems to be long but I have been playing only a short time over several days so it may just seem that way to me I am happy with this purchase                 Like this game a lot

Its seems like forever since theres been a 5 game released and this game has everything I look for in a HOAG and then some Great HOS minigames graphics voice overs and storyline Both the main game and bonus chapter were super long there were items to collect throughout the game multiple types of HOS and an integrated map to use for fast travel Just go for it you wont be disappointed And for Big FishPlease keep games like this coming Now on to the Dream TeamI absolutely agree with everyone regarding this being a place for reviews and not a forum to shout out to friends give health updates or anything else other than to review games Im sure theres got to be an appropriate place that you all can blog to each other and keep in contact but this is not it Its great you have a nice group of friends who have the same interests such as these games but it is not fair to the many many many other people who come here to look for real input and reviews on the games and nothing else One recent review had no review at all and was only a msg about a hospital stay The msgs have been getting longer and reviews shorter and then to no review at all I dont believe any one of us with this opinion mean to hurt anyones feelings these are just the facts of what this forum is for game reviews                 Finally Awesome Game In Every Way PsDream Team

And Ive played 100 games of this sort Puzzles are challenging enough without being overly difficult to solve HOG are at a minimum with no penalty so they dont frustrate you every time you run into one The storyline is incredibly well done so it keeps your interest like truly playing a book Hints are valuable but dont give away the farm so you still have to think a little Graphics voiceovers are all professionally done This game is well worth the price and will not disappoint Looking forward to more like this one                 Probably the best Ive ever played

This is a very nice hidden object adventure game The HO scenes are bright the story is not too creepy especially the bonus in the main story the evil guy swooping at me in every cut scene was a bit disconcerting you have to solve a good variety of puzzles in the mini games and figure out which object to use to get past obstacles A bit repetitious EVERY puzzle seems to be missing a piece and pretty easy The map and hint system are stellar Graphics are excellent                 Very nice

Dont usually rate games but this is an exception exception The graphics are some of the best Ive seen the HO games are different and interesting and the story holds together well There not a lot of cut away scenes the map is excellent as is the hint button Both of these items are necessary Would like more games like this one                 Excellent

This game has gorgeous graphics All the minigames were enjoyable lots of variety and well thought out I prefer a higher ratio of puzzles to HOS and this has it And even the HOS require some thought you have to use a found object to unlock another HO and combine Thank you to the developers for a map that actually works I also appreciate that when you click on an inventory item theres a popup of what the item is In other games you have to guess what they are Ie Is that twisted piece of metal a bracelet or a machine piece A lot of other developers could learn from them                 Thoroughly enjoyed this game a keeper

If you like this type of game this is a good one for you I really did not expect to like it as much as I did It was a good length the map worked well and was very useful because you do have to go back and forth between locations The hints and the guide were also useful too I do get tired of these games so often being about a child in peril and I wish developers cauldron come up with some different scenarios Nevertheless this was a good game and I recommend it                 Worth the money

UPDATE GREAT GAME The good What a great selection of mini games and different types of HOPs that werent just finding random thimbles and matches The map navigation help hints and general layout was great no accidentally hitting the skip button or hint button when I was doing a puzzle Big props for all the technical stuff like that The okaynot so great The story was just OK Finding all the collectibles kind of threw me out of the story The owl was with me the whole time but only did a very few things and there was no connectionit was just an inventory item I prefer sidekicks who have a little character and it would have been nice since it was on the entire journey but the very end It just flew away And some of the graphics werent to the level weve seen in other games In summary a solid 4 star game that is definitely worth playing and paying for Good Job end of update Based on the reviews of trusted reviewers such as Moonbeam and Snooper and Hossyridr and others Im too lazy to mention I am buying this game Ill come back to update and give my opinion later but I must say Im excited about this oneloads of 5 stars Also just wanted to thank everyone for your prayers and good wishes You were all in my blessings to countthings to be thankful for this past weekend Staying strong through treatment xo Blueflier              coming back to update
