I bought there system about a year ago and installed the app It worked good for about a month then I wasn t able to connect Called tech support which took almost 45 minutes to talk to someone Spent another 30 minutes to fix the problem So everything is working good and about 2 weeks later I can t connect again So I called my friend who is very computer savvy He fixed it for me then it crashed again so I called him back again and he used a different server and IP address so now it has been working perfect for the past 6 months     Unreliable Surfunhb

I live in Guam and travel frequently and maintain another home in the States This application allows me to effortlessly look in on my vacant residence from wherever in the world I happen to be from my IPad All i need is a hot spot coffee shop hotel room etc Great peace of mind Setting it up was easy getting it to work on the WWW initially was a pain It is surprising how many routers exist between you and the web to allow access Lorex s port forwarding software helped identify those router s IP addresses After that it was a matter of getting technical support for those routers so I could essentially clear a path Once this was done the program has been bullet proof for the first few months Very stable and reliable I would highly recommend this product but urge you to have an IT smart friend available or be comfortable with basic IT                     Perfect Idaho-Steve

This program seldom works right If you do get a connection it does not last long Once in awhile I can use the as intended but not often this week I have not been able connect at all Every time I try to connect it completely looses contact This system has never ran good Every up grade has been worse and I have not been able to hook up since the last one I would say this was a waste of a lot of money for something that seems to work about 30 of the time     Garbage Zzaabbccddeeffg

This App is definitely not up to the usual Apple standard but it s good for live view and basic playback Feature they NEED to add is an easy way to review motion events Also if they polish the functionality of playback by allowing for swipe scrubbing it would be much better Swipe scrubbing plus a way to see motion events would be perfect This app is also crashing every time I click in the mail status field I would give it 5 stars if it had swipe scrubbing with motion event visuals and it didn t crash when selecting the mail status field             Good for live view but not playback or management ssmiroldo

I would advise against upgrading to their latest version I use the app for remote viewing and it worked flawless until this latest version was released Like previous posts this revision locks the login screen in the portrait position It cannot be rotated nor can the connect button be activated Your system is now rendered useless for remote monitoring No worries if you have an iPhone with app The iPhone app works fine but obviously small monitoring screen Clearly this revision was not adequately tested prior to release If you are a current user of this app and depend on it for frequent monitoring SAVE YOURSELF SOME FRUSTRATION AND DO NOT UPGRADE YET Lorex Why the delay in a remedy At least revert back to the previous app version until this version functions properly Thanks     1 0 8 VERSION IS FLAWED One Cigar Nut
