Lido/iRouteManual - Aeronautical Charts for Preflight Briefing and Inflight Use

The Chart presentation is really good the app is fast enough to handle all charts Update all airport charts one by one is really frustrating and time consuming I dont see the reason to click to download a chart update It should be automatically updated we always need the current chart for flying The support is quick and friendly The last update was good sleep mode and download bar help a lot Hope to see more improvement soon What about the EFRAS on iPad Complete set would be nice Charts and Performance Happy Landings              Nice Presentation

The App crashed on first attempt to open and has done nothing since It opens now but does nothing You type in an airport code andnothing And thats all it does Nothing A complete waste at this point unless you wantnothing     A total waste

Not worth the 20 bucks I have also found Lido unresponsive to email inquiries It could be a good tool but not with only 40 preset airports     Boeing Captain

I think this is not worth the cost as it says I should see an update all button for a quick update I have no such button to do this So I have to do them one at a timea very laborious task Not impressed Pass on this one in favor of anything Jeppesen        Update All

This app is simply not practical to any professional in volved in longhaul flying because you only have access to a very limited number of airports     Not a practical app for a professional pilot

This app is a rip off and I am surprised that Lufthansa is still even trying to sell this APP to Airline Pilots and professional pilots The fact that LIDO states that it is for use by Airline Pilots using the LIDO system is an absolute misrepresentation of this APP All of the original information on this APP indicated that a future update would allow you to connect to your airlines subscription for LIDO NOT TRUE and it does not work and never has Now there is a new app that is free that supposedly allows you to connect with your airlines subscription but so far that doesnt work either I have requested a refund of purchase price for this useless APP from LIDO but so far no response I believe that ITunes should remove this APP from the store Its nothing but a total rip off for what it was advertised to do     Rip Off

Worked great til last update Now it is unusable DO NOT BUY TIL THE NEXT UPDATE IF AT ALL STILL WAITING FOR A FIX BEEN WAITING FOR A MONTH     Horrible app

I cant even get Manchester charts     Dont buy it Wait

You are limited to 40 airports and cant adjust which ones you get Id rather have fewer but be able to select the ones I want Its like a demo program but they charge you 19     Not worth it

This is an ok app Got it just to see how the Lido compares to Jeppesen and for additional For Reference Only information The navigation is cumbersome and not as fast as the Jeppesen app I have the app installed on a iPad 3g and I find that chart rendering slow even when all other memory intensive apps or settings are shut down You have to wait quite a while when you zoom in for the text to become legible In comparison the Jepp app is instantaneous The chart updates on the Jeppesen are much easier than on the Lido as on the Lido you have to update each individual airport           Slow Rendering

Good presentation of charts and the app is fast at least o iPad2 Looking forward to the release of update 11 when I can download charts for EKs complete route network              Nice app

LIDO did a too quick release in my opinion It looks good and will eventually be useful to pilots but there is work to be done First of all dont limit 40 airports and if you really have to then at least let the user choose at least his 40 airports It could well be at the moment that just a handful are really some he does use Second once the validity is expired it shows red it never shows as mentioned in amber that new updates are available And worse if you update or try to update an airport I should say then unless if it has new charts it still stays red and the validity date still shows expired Not a condition acceptable for pilots and not really legal to use like that Thirdly why is there not an automatic update for all charts when the validity is expired Who in this world would want or need to have old charts Fourthly OMDB does not have any STAR charts so the sets are not complete At the moment last but not least When I write to LIDO support and alert them of the issues nothing changes no one answers back and frankly speaking nobody seems to give a sht I am very disappointed to receive such an incomplete app for 2000 If the above would be rectified then I would be happy enough to pay this amount but like this I feel cheated out Lufthansa LIDO get your act together and publish something only when it is customer ready Thank you        As good as it sounds its not fully developed

the long awaited ver 11 is not out current latest version doesnt allow you to download any of the charts Incorrect username and password it says but there werent any option in the settings app to login DO NOT UPDATE yet     new version cannot download any of the airport charts dont update

I am already a big fan of iRouteManual I am using it to study and refresh the airports I hope iRouteManual contains more airports with appropriate extra payment and A380 charts also                 Second to none

Previous version allowed inputing your airlines subscription code opening up the full subscription Apparently this version no longer allows you to put in the subscription code and restricts you to 40 airports I wouldnt have bought this app if I could only use 40 mostly useless airports This is more of an add for LIDO than a useful app German companies are notoriously not customer oriented Additionally the app doesnt allow access to CRARs access necessary for international flyers The app doesnt work as advertised The green amber red notification for downloaded airports doesnt workIve never seen the green even after a new full download The charts always open in a nonuser friendly orientation and the rotation function rotates 180 degrees the first time you use it then 90 degrees the second time     Will not allow subscription anymore
