Level Money

Having recently moved to the states I find this the most useful app to have Used to have Toshl but it didnt turn into a habit Its best to have it automated                 Good stuff

Edit I miss how the auto save use to be exact with maxing out on how much left over money you can save Now it almost seems unlimited and inaccurate Bring this back and I will be so happy Edit I love all the improvements Especially how your spendable and income fluctuates instead of being the fixed amount you initially put in Everything is real time Level is everything that Ive always wanted with budgeting Ive had more left over money after two weeks than before since Im on a day to day weekly and monthly budget I also love knowing that Ill have enough to pay my bills but also have enough to enjoy some spendable money without going overboard Thanks Level this is the app Ive been looking for ever since I found out about Mint and budgeting apps almost 4 years ago                 Ideal budgeting tool

Getting started can be somewhat frustrating but stick with it play around with for the first few weeks and then let it do its thing It then becomes easy and nearly indispensable              So far so good

This is the exact personal budgeting app that I have been looking for It doesnt make me feel horrible when I overspend it just adjusts for the future I also find it helpful to not think of a budget in categories but rather all in and this is the app of those budgeting dreams                 Keeps track without making me feel guilty

I am only able to setup one of my bank accounts so only able to half way review this app My bank account has additional security questions so in attempting to log on Level says it took too long and the give up try again later Ive been trying for days and contacted support Havent heard anything So with only having one of my accounts up not really getting a good projection of my financials If it worked I can imagine this would be an awesome app Im very visual so I would love to use this In what little I can play with I am enjoying But until these bugs are worked out cant even test the app        half a review

Level provides just the amount of information I need to feel secure and not overwhelmed Yet sophisticated enough I can find issues in my transactions or bank accounts A job well done                 Best financial management of all time

Never updated my spending for 3 weeks Tried to reset my password and kept barking about the key isnt correct Emailed Support and now 2 weeks later I havent received a response Update Thought I would give this another try since I really think this is the app Ive been looking for The issue with PNC Bank is still not fixed which means no new data I think I know what the issue is and have sent 3 emails to support to see if the suggestion will work within the app No response or yeah we got your suggestion The other thing I noticed was a lack of entering in any of your challenge questions which IMO would correct a large amount of issues So far not thrilled with support if you can call it that        Dont know if I can recommend

I didnt want to spend a lot of time cing up with a budget This app links to ur accounts comes up with a rough budget based on past spending then you can tweak it and monitor The best part is how it syncs up with checkingcredit card accounts And there is a simple dailyweeklymonthly overview showing u how ur doing Very simple but effective                 Very simple but effective

Transactions do not update it has been a week There is also no way to remove or update a linked account from within the app Untimely automated customer service email service that doesnt not respond promptly The only resolution has been to reset the account which has not worked after several attempts     Terrible app Great idea

I have to downgrade my review to one star Level used to be amazing and changed the way I budget It was far superior to Mint in its simplicity Transactions are much more delayed My spendable is completely out of whack Customer support used to be very responsive Not anymore Ive written them 3 times with no response     No longer great

I love the clean interface and design of this app However it takes a while for my transactions to sync with the app Sometimes I want to know how much money I have left to spend for the weekend but the app hasnt even included my recent transactions for the week If the app was better at syncing I would give 5 stars           Great but too slow

Lots of good features and is certainly helpful But it frequently glitches and frequently doesnt report the correct finances making the app entirely useless Also does not recognize new accounts and fails to refresh Ultimately this makes it pointless Ive emailed and contacted the team multiple times about these glitches but Ive never gotten any responses        Lots of potential but fails to reach

As someone who hates thinking about my money and budgeting Im glad to have found this app It tells me exactly what I need to know how much I can spend                 Easy to use and understand

Better than Mint if you want a simple budgeting experience What I love most about this app is that I dont have to categorize transactions At the end of the day all that matters is money in and money out and thats what this app accomplishes                 Better than Mint

If they can get this app to update when it says it did I will give it 5 stars However its always about 23 days behind It will say updated now but is clearly not even close It must not be connecting to my bank even though it claims to be Seems to be an issue with almost everyone leaving reviews here              Almost Perfect

Is it really that hard to get your little application working properly Disappointed     Not updating

When I first started using this app it was great It kept me on track and help me budget pretty well But since the end of last year until now its lagged behind None of my transactions stayed up to date and I would receive notifications about my account almost a week late It became increasingly easier to just log into my bank account to check on things that way Its too bad this went downhill so quickly I dont know what happened but I wont be keeping this app long enough to see it fixed     was great but stopped working

UPDATE 916 This app is STILL full of bugs that keep it from working It consistently stops loading transactions for dayS at a time NO transactions are listed for a week but it says Ive spend 350 The math doesnt work Im numys instead not as slick or feature rich but seems to actually work consistently     Bug ridden mess

This app sure gets my budget in check                 GREAT

Some reason this app always takes a day or two to load my bank transactions Other than that its fantastic But at times its frustrating because it supposed to provide an uptodate tracking of my spending habits and with transactions always a day or two behind it cant do that              Great except for the slowness in updating

Like a lot of other users I loved this app but have recently been unable to use it because my credit card purchases arent updating in the app I got a new card and use it for everything daytoday and after the first time I signed into that account through Level it hasnt worked once I contacted customer support a few days ago but have no response Not even an acknowledgment email Very disappointing because I would love to keep using the app but as it is theres no reason        Cool but too buggy

Like others said doesnt update regularly and there can be glitches with bills and income which messes up spendable amount if you check the option to update spendable if billincome amount changes If it updated regularly I could live with the other glitch but its really not useful as is Weird because it uses the same system as mint but is never as up to date as mint is Skip this app     Would be great if it worked

Latest Update Even with the newer version transactions from certain credit card accounts suddenly stop appearing and throws Spendable completely off I really wish this app worked but its likely going to just work for a time and then crap out Youll have to reset your account multiple times Dont waste your time Update Im an early adopter of Level I have now in the last year or so needed my app settings completely reset 3 times That means I have to reenter my bank and CC information and my plan all of my bills one by one This takes about 30 mins every time I have to do it Its very frustrating On top of that its been regularly buggy with duplicate transactions and incorrect monthly Spendables There are entire weeks I just cant rely on it to budget for me Im not sure Ill continue using Level I was hoping Capital One would inject more capital but either they havent or its not going towards debugging and app optimization Old Review For the record I still use Level daily despite its numerous bugsits that well conceived a concept Income bills and savings what you can spend Pretty simple And automatic tracking of CC transactions make it really convenient The UI is much simpler than Mint in a good way All that said it is insanely buggy Ive sent over a dozen bug reports on duplicate transactions trackers not working budgets not properly adding up after changes to the savings plan etc Hopefully an injection of capital for more engineers from the Capitol One purchase will help Needs a lot of debugging     So buggyWhole app needs reset often

This apps concept is good But its execution is utter garbage It enters the supposed bad state whatever that means every single time you set it up and have to reset it multiple times     Terrible horrible disastrous

I was anxious to see how this app performed but that has dissipated since noticing it doesnt quite stay up to date on transactions What I mean is it takes around four days for a transaction to appear even after it has already cleared my credit union My other finance apps show transactions right away Im sure this will be resolved in time Great app otherwise              High hopes

I was really excited about this app because I needed a tool to help me from overspending This app is not quite there yet Apparently the app only syncs with your bank account one time per day I was informed of this by customer service So pretty much 99 of the time the level amounts and spendable money are not up to date Not very helpful     Only updatessyncs 1x per day

I added my account and it said on my Capital360 account it could not retrieve the data Then it said couldnt detect any of my bank accounts on my USAA account I have made several attempts to get this resolved but I dont have time to fight with this app when I know all the information for my accounts and Level money cant sync As it stands right now this is very disappointing I will move on to another app     Frustrating

This app really helped me save some money and get on track with frivolous spending until last month when it stopped updating completely Sent in a bug report and they said they would reset my account so I could reconnect my bank Now I cant get my bank to connect to level at all and error message reads that it cant convert loading to dollars so I assume my bank account is trying to load and failing so level cant connect Checked my bank account using online banking and not really sure what to do at this point because everything looks okay        Was great not sure what happened

Used to be a great app then the update made credits impact spendable This means your spendable is woefully inaccurate until your reimbursement posts which could be much later And if the spendable is off whats the point of this app     Rendered useless since credits impact spendable

I was super excited to manage my accounts in one locationbut this app refuses to connect to my Key account Not worth my time if my major account can not be connectedguess I will keep looking     Disappointed

As much as like the concept behind it keep track of your budget in real time Level really fails to deliver in two significant ways First it is quite slow to register transactions I can see that Ive bought groceries from my banks app almost immediately but it might not show up on Level for three days I doubt this is Levels fault Id bet its the banking system being slow but it significantly reduces Levels usefulness Second Level gets the math wrong Ive had it tell me my spendable was much higher than was consistent with the car payment I knew was due before my next paycheck Too slow to accurately provide a real daily spendable an inaccurate as well I give Level a C        Good idea but

Downloaded this it is just great                 Best Financial App of All

The app is a cool idea but the execution leaves a lot to be desired 1 The app will frequently not update with new transactions for several days at a time Thats not very helpful for an app designed to track daily spending 2 I opened an additional account with a bank already connected to the app The app would not recognize the new account or let me add the new account I ended up having to delete my whole account and start over to add the new account Did the developers really not expect users to have new bank accounts 3 App support is nonresponsive Im assuming that they are either overwhelmed or have given up Initially when there were problems you could get answerswork arounds from support These days you get radio silence Bottom line I expected more from a Capital One funded app given the high quality apps the company has been coming out with recently     Getting worse
