I heard many learn visually first then by sound but these games arent very helpful The first screen is all rote memorization and then you have three ways of practicing once you have memorized all the codes on your own Thats painfully dull and you can find tables of morse for free if that is the entirety of their learning process i was really hoping for learning where you started with a few letters and built up your knowledge using interactive games Was I ever disappointed even for visual learning its a bust

Ok I bought this expecting to actually hear some dits and dahs Man was I wrong If you want to learn Morse by sight this is a fantastic ap The problem is Morse is an aural code heard by the ears No one except maybe the greatest code geeks of all actually prints anything in Morse How hard would it have been to make the ditdah sound when you tap on the cutesywootsey sheep instead of the stupid voice saying A Not hard at all I think the matching games might actually have been able to teach me something But only if it told me what my wrong answers were instead of just taking points away Remember the point is to actualy learn something not rack up some meaningless high score Where is the Morse
I like the app It has a tendency to crash which seems to correct itself once the iPad is rebooted I would love to the ability to modify the example words in lesson one then I could attached a mnemonic phrase in its place Good idea overall Looking forward to updates Ham radio operator
