I would say i absolutely love this game if it werent for the awkward controls that i have to use while playing it on my iPad It just cramps up my left thumb trying to move leftright I think if the control interface was more iPad friendly id enjoy playing it on both my ipad and iphone Great game though           Great game bad controls

If you like any of the classic nintendo games youll love this one Lots of levels too and some are a little tricky but not unbeatable Definitely worth the purchase                 Great game

This would be a great game if it actually saved your place At most Ive been able to get through 4 levels before Lars forgets where I am in the game and starts me back at the tutorial If the next updates fixes this Lars will be back on my iPhone        Frustration

There are tons of better platformers on iTunes This game is only good to try the new joypad integration Besides that it is just a broken game Specially the jump Why no middle jump or small jumps And the joypad thing even has a bug if you are running towards a and it stops to show a message Lars keeps running after the message is gone and you will probably die a couple times because of that     Crap plataformer

DO NOT BUY Freezes up as soon ad game starts Until the manufacturer acknowledges this problem on this app page and offers a fix you are wasting your money     Rip off

I feel nostalgic towards this game despite it being new and having never played it before It stays true to old platformers so well that its both a good thing and a bad thing Controls are solid Would love to see another form of combat other than hop n bop though Maybe a little more of a plot without having to read so much you dont need multiple paragraphs explaining how left and right arrows and a single jump button works At least the tutorial text doesnt get in the way Overall a very solid and fun game Well worth its price              Old School Pros and Cons

this is a great platformer ive had alot of fun playing it everything is done very well from the sound to the retro style graphics it reminded me of my mario playing days when i was a kid there are alot of levels on offer so im going to be playing this for sometime now the controls work fine didnt face any bugs the only thing i can think of that is missing is game center achievements that would have been a great addition other than that a great game well worth the price                 amazing platformer

My son loves this game but is currently unable to move the lizard through the level mentioned above Once Lars reaches the far right side of the screen the whole game freezes He cannot be moved back up or down We did not see a place on the company website for reporting bugs              Bug report screen freezes up in Level 03 Mission 03

My nickname is lars so i really wanted this game to be good It is soooo bad it is really boring and dumbed down     Worst game in the app store

Bug Report for Mission 0303 Not freezing for us here on our devices The next level is a big one though so it may be a memory issue Restart your device then try the level again NOTE Update v108 is now live and adds one of the most requested updates to gameplay Little Jumps Tap the button get a little jump The longer you hold the button the higher Lizard Lars will jump Its just that simple Also cleaned up Joypad integration so Lars no longer occasionally continues running after picking up an info icon Thanks Thomazff Also removed the control UI when taking over by Joypad controls They come back when you return to normal game controls Additional bug fixes are now in place as well For those who have experienced a bug or a crash please please email our support account and let us know about it The few reviewers who mentioned crashes have not contacted us yet and we cant fix what we dont know about This update was tested with nearly every device out here and should not affect your save game Enjoy and look for the Lite version of Lars coming out shortly with a new bonus level                 Lars Update Information
