Great way to learn a new language Subscribed 2 minutes after trying it out Very fun simple and organized It works great for busy learners with limited time to engage in coursework                 Love this app

First few lessons are easy and fun Good choice of foundation vocab for functioning in social situ The grammar does get tricky with endings but you can repeat lessons and even scroll back to look at something again Iuse this on both my phone and iPad              Fun and challenging

I started using Babbel so I could understand and speak Turkish while I was visiting this beautiful country Babbel helped me comprehend pronunciations of the vowels important distinctions as well as use vernaculars pertaining to every day use I love the pace I can choose and have found the app keeps the language fresh in memory and speech Very delighted to use this as a beginner                 Keeps me fresh

The program does seem well designed It doesnt take advantage of the international keyboard Often when I type an i it changes it to an ı non dotted i and so I get it wrong Also sometime it says I got 35 right out of 11 or some such thing Still it is helping me I am dependent on the visual though but I think thats an inherent challenge on an app vs a real teacher Lastly the subscription way of doing it isnt my favorite especially with difficult to shut down auto renewals              Babbel nice but a few bugs

You will download this You will go through the first lesson 2 minutes Then you will hit a pay wall that tells you everything else requires a month subscription You will be disappointed that this wasnt spelled out more clearly To be fair I think it is mentioned somewhere in the App Store details but come on You make me jump through registration hoops and only later do you really point out this important detail It means this amounts to little more than a demo And one of the shorter ones at that Who ever heard of language app by subscription id much rather buy it as a one time purchase The lessons also arent very good Ive had quite a bit of fun with DuoLingo which is structured similarly but is better Duolingo is better about letting you repeat pronunciations and has a listening component where it checks your pronunciation Overall Babbel was pretty shallow by comparison I felt like it breezed through the lesson without ever repeating and reinforcing what I was supposed to be learning I guess they expect you to learn a phrase after hearing it once     This is just a DEMO not even freemium

This app has made it so easy for me to learn a new language I took up Turkish because of my girlfriend and its just fun being able to speak in another language with her I love it                 Amazing

This app really teaches you how to speak turkish It explains the grammar and shows you the exact translation in English I have tried Rosetta Stone and even my turkish wife felt it was not clear and to confusing for a beginner Highly recommend this app and the price is beyond worth it                 Better than Rosetta Stone

Since the last update the keyboard on iPhone doesnt include Turkish characters so I cant type correct answers App is useless     Sloppy

Im very happy with this app Ive been trying to find the right application to learn turkish on the go for the the last two years and so far I think this one is the best I highly recommend it for a beginnerhowever I think it should provide more advanced courses for intermediate and advanced students                 Review

Its best to pair this with Rosetta Stone and use them concurrently but if going with one or the other Babbel wins everytime It explains the grammar and offers translations while also allowing you to speak read write and hear Worth every single penny Will use for other languages in the future without a doubt                 Worth every penny

Hi Babbel team Why do not you go back to old version till you fix new version bugs You know we pay but we cant use app around one month Please think about your costumers Waiting for your prompt action Crashes do not let us use this app and it is unusable at the moment     Why I updated it

Used it perfectly for about a month they launched an update that now it wont do anything other than crash on me Please fix Id love to give you guys a 5 star review because the app is actually really good when its working     Great app if it doesnt crash after they release an update

The keyboard on my iPad does not match the Turkish alphabet For example there are two forms of i As a result when you type an i the app may interpret it incorrectly and ding you for a wrong answer This gets annoying pretty quick If there is a way around this problem I have yet to find it Otherwise the app works pretty well although it sound have a dictionary           Keyboard
