KXAN News for iPad

The app is probably okay but the Buffington Homes ad will piss you off     Buffington

Too annoying Huge and loud Buffington Homes ad blocks the website Fed up with the extra step to close the ad before being given access to the website Ive switched to KVUE     Ad is obnoxious greeting

This app is junk ads are taking over page It has recently started kicking me out of the app to an ad about to delete for good     Keep getting kicked off app to an ad

This update fixed all the bugs from the previous update                 Much better

And again another update to the KXAN app and again they still choose to leave the incredibly annoying home builder commercial still pops up after opening the app Its and ad and video When will you guys learn It completely ruins the app experience Its better to just have the website on safari instead and there I can read comments to stories I have no plans to use your app until you correct the commercial The latest update still has the incredibly annoying home builder commercial when the app is started This completely turns be off from using the app On the latest update which apparently has completely rewritten the app the most annoying thing still remains yup the commercial still remains Wow that home company must be laying KXAN a lot of money for this Well keep with it guys it just makes me use your other local competitor stations instead An annoying popup commercial always comes up first when the app is opened Then trys to play a video Not good for bandwidth or the user experience Once past that commercial then the app is decent good news station overall     Still there Still there Pop up commercialad when app is opened

App closes every time you click on a story sigh This is my favorite news network too     Useless

Come on KXAN get the bugs fixed Constant crashing when opening a news feed and unable to see the link for breaking news The 2nd issue has been going on for months     I used to love this ap

I refuse to believe you are unaware of the issue based on numerous poor reviews complaints on the issue Same thing with the intrusive ads     Get rid of notification bug or goodbye app

Its a good app for the local news Ever since the most recent update the notifications does show up anymore and the number wont go away no matter what is done           Notification issues

I can deal with the stupid ad that opens EVERY time you open the app but now it says i dont have an internet connection        Broken again

The popup ad when you first start up is bad enough but the ads that load and by doing so reposition the links to all of the stories are even more annoying Every time you go back to the home page and start to click another link the links all shift down because of loading ads and make it confusing to find the next link you were going to read Not to mention clicking the wrong link because they all shift when your reaching for link I dont mind ads on a free app but when they take away from the overall experience I tend to quit using that app        Ads are extremely annoying

Cannot get rid of Number notifications on icon no matter what I do Annoying     Notifications Number

Had this app for a while was ok upgraded to iOS 8 stopped working got the bug fix and suddenly it is alive Gave it 4 stars for now and well see how it goes              Hey It works now

Im going to delete this app strictly bc of the buffington home ads Soooo annoying If youre listen to music it will pause the music then wont restart the song Look elsewhere     Annoying ads

Dont expect to be able to listen to music while reading the news with this app It has a big pop up with automatic audio After you quickly click that away there are random audio elements designed to turn off your music The only good news is that KVUE has a decent app that doesnt do these things     Dissatisfied

So far the 3rd party kxan uses for their app rarely updates it A lot of times the app crashes Well it will crash or not respond after they show the same advertisement they have been showing for the last 6 months I guess they havent gotten the news that apps are where things are going My wife lambasts kxan due to all their typos in the stories     Not worth it

There is no convenience to not being able to clear the notifications without having to open each one from the lock screen I deleted the notifications from there and now the will NOT go away and I cant fix that by opening the story anymore Awful update Revert please     Notifications update is awful

I have given this ap its last day I detest the fact that they cannot solve the issue of the constant notifications I have this issue with no other news service Not a third world problem but one that I cannot overlook     Make it STOP Notifications MUST go away

In 5 min time browsing the news topics I was directed to at least 3 game appsmerely by scrolling through the topics and emphatically NOT on a visible link But before I could begin browsing the omnipresent home builder ad auto played an audio No thanks Ill go to one of the other local news providers who are more interested in delivering NEWS     Good for shoppingsee lots of ads

Ive seen the advertisements over and over but cant get the news videos to play If I click on the news story again Im subjected to more ads Again no news video What a waste     Poor poor very poor

Some people in this world want to read the report it terms of service and its not showing up              Good however

Im in my bed early morning with my husband sleeping next to me I go to KXAN app to check news weather and the first thing that pops up is a full screen video ad for Buffington Home with automatic play which wakes up my husband before I can turn it off NO THANK YOU     Poor inconsiderate adsintrusive

Cant use this without seeing an ad Also the ads are huge so when you are scrolling you will click on one by accident     Too many ads

I noticed recently the sound on the videos is turned off I cant figure out how to fix it           Good but needs work

You tap on a story it crashes Worthless     Crash
