Ive been playing music for over 20 years and this has become one of my favorite instruments Its so simple to pick up and start making music but deep enough that its limitations are endless Keep the updates coming and this will keep its 5 star rating                 Love It

I got this app when it first came out and STILL use it Since then I purchased the hardware version as well as a kp3 This app plugs into those and is extremely useful Its extremely fun and worth every penny                 My favorite app

Please add an arpeggiator and continue to develop more sounds to add to it more sound sets please Thanks                 Please add more Sound Sets

Not as intuitive as the device but for 10 its fine Fun but WHERE IS THE ARPEGGIATION OPTION           Decent

Love the sounds The UI is spectacular and integration with Ableton Live is fantastic I would give another star but the notes over a two octave range and often difficult to precisely find              Great sounds Great integration

but there is no way to import sounds And the look needs a refresh Still looks like iOS 56 Really needs an optional scale grid too and some more expansion packs           Was good for a time

Perfect for everything from getting an idea out of your head to taking up time during travel You cant Not make music with this app                 Worth it

This was my first and last korg purchase It left me thinking korg was way overpriced for what you get Also I have been watching the reviews on your other apps and there is quite a few complaints on maintenance such as updates etc But you sure do have some die hard fans     Korgies

As Program Director of the new Media Ctr Ballard Im a huge fan of Korg Kaossilator getting young folks old ones too quickly engaged in the creative process As a player for 40 years I cannot say good enough things about the simplicity and intuitive musicality of the iOS Killor as its known on my track sheets As a teacher I would be hard pressed to name a tool that could match the way the Killor captures th attention and the immediate enthusiasm of both the teen autistic students Ive had the good fortune of working with my adult friends fans at shows Awesome product I use my hardware K2 consider each a different instrument worth bringing to gigs recording each with their own strong points now that the iOS Killor ports to Ableton as individual tracks my workflow is streamlined beautifully Way to pay attention to what users are doing Korg Ableton refine products to make our lives easier                 Program Director Media Ctr Ballard

I love the simplicity of this app and actually think the limited control options are why I reach for the iK much more often than similar more tweakable apps Load it up and deal Ive used it in live shows and its easy to manage and sounds excellent Expansion packs are a great addition Make more And include one thats less clubdub specific for us duffers who arent making the scene anymore for ex Id pay extra for the solo trumpet sound from the hardware Kaossilator                 Totally fun more expansion packs please

You will be making beats like a pro in minutes Very simple to learn Sounds amazing through a good system very crisp on the hi tones and the bass will knock your socks off If you have a love for music You will love this app                 Amazing

Was so disappointed how long it took Korg to get most of their rather expensive apps compatible with iOS8 that I deleted them all I miss them because they are quality when they work Trying again        Trying again

Unfortunately I went against better judgment when I purchased this app yeah it has 150 sounds but theyre mostly generic and unusable to any professional degree In general this app is elementary and inferior to so many other looper apps if it was 99 cents it might be worth it and even then I wouldnt use it much compared to the propellerhead apps and the like Dont waste you money like I did        So overpriced

The only reason I gave this app three stars is because of the missing volume per track function Otherwise its great product As other korg products           Add track volume please

This is hands down my favorite music making app on a mobile and I have tried a lot of them Its so much fun creating and endlessly tweaking sets to perform live or in the studio Sometimes the app glitches when transitioning multiple loops at once to minimize this I make sure all other apps are closed Please add the following to make this app perfect IMHO the ability to independently control the volume on each instrument a midi screen to tweak individual loops that have been created add filters for instrument sets A huge thank you to the developers Cant wait for some more sound packs Check out my songs on Soundcloud ArtIsInformation                 Hours and Hours

I love this gizmo I am VERY happy it is updated for iOS 8 I look forward to more instruments Using this app calms my anxiety and Im left with beautiful musical landscapes I play them at night sometimes to help me sleep I wish chord changes were easier to access from the same screen where the loop components are The app is very fun to mix and match patterns I use my own since I have an ever expanding set of them I upload directly to soundcloud or export as wav                 Favorite Gizmo

I give 4 for fun The app could use some customizable perimeters like delay phaser and chorus The drum beats are really cool however a bit limited in terms of making the beats your own creation Overall a very cool app Thank you Korg              Loads of fun

The level of control isnt there for creative musical composition Its just a soundboard of prerecorded tracks that you can mashup I was hoping for something that allowed much more control so that maybe something creative could actually be made Wish I hadnt paid 10 for this     Its a toy not an instrument

At first I didnt get it I thought it was more or less an expensive forerunner to Figure Where the app really shines is in the Import arena You can import your own loops and set different timing values for them Then remix with the sounds in iKaossilator With the Shared loops feature you never run out of loops or ideas Its sort of a hive mind for music people I am going to start recording guitar breaks and loops and putting them in here The only improvement I would want to suggest is a Soundcloud download feature to download my own loops off of Soundcloud inapp But thats probably a tall order Also charging for the other loop packs in an app that already costs 20 might be going a bit far You can get away with that in the hardware world but on the App Store It might not work Still great work on this app As a final request could you please bring the ims20 to the iPhone Or even just port the DS10 to the iPhone I have no doubt that the iPhone could handle it                 Have to admit

The update added some neat new things but a built in mixer would be great or at least an arpeggiator like the physical versions The iMS20 and iPolysix have spectacular built in mixers and this should definitely not be left out on this powerhouse of an instrument All in all this app is still one of the best around the App Store right next to Gadget                 Great as is but can be better

Ive been making electronic music for almost 20 years And it wouldnt be an exaggeration to say this is the most fun creative useful expressive and productive tool Ive ever see hardware or software I cant believe anyone would write any bad reviews if youre truly an electronic musician and have a brain This thing does things thanks to the amazing writers that I wouldnt have come up with if it werent for the amazing awesome timing and stretch calculator it has going on Writers who ever you are and korg I appreciate you and your hard work If I actually ever decide to release any music it will be because of you and all the tools of yours I used                 I stopped recording to write this

There are a couple bad reviews Id like to debunk First since this app is being compared to the hardware versions Id say that for the price point the iKaossilator is an excellent value when compared to the Kaossilator Pro and the mini KP The iOS app has a few options which rival the hardware Such as saving an unlimited number of patterns importing custom samples and loops and the best reason is 64 steps Also it does support Audiobus Whether or not the iKaossilator is a Pro instrument is really a moot point when its an opinion wrapped in misinformation If youre new to ios music or if youve always wanted the real hardware but found it too expensive this is a fully capable app                 Excellent introduction to iOS music

A very capable music app for creating loopbased grooves from preset patterns and imported loops Different scales and keys can be selected and you can record your own loop patterns The XY touchpad is excellent my only wish is that Korg would add an option to display a grid reflecting the current scale which would make it easier to target specific notes of the scale when making patterns Current solutions to the lack of a note grid make use of colored painters tape on the screen Finally the app can be used for live performance switching loops and recording on the fly It would be nice to have a better inapp manual Nevertheless kudos to Korg              Kool iKaos

I truly love this app its so easy to learn and I seamless and fluent but I wish there was a way to distort all the sounds like in the app Figure but oh well I still manage to play with it                 Best music app

This app is amazing I love the ability to start producing beats bass lines and leads Build alternate loops and mix on the phrase scene Mix down all 5 instrument banks and mix four more over top great way to build custom drum loops Let your imagination run wild with this app Devs Please add more instrument add ons I would love to see more drum sounds for building custom drum loops with the export to sound library option If the app could turn to horizontal on iPad it would be great for those of us whom use docking stations We need to have a mute record function For example if I record a lead in 1 beat then extend the loop to 16 beats it repeats my one beat lead over and over for 16 Say the record button is armed and I mute to cut the lead up it sounds awesome but the app will not record my cuts It would be great if it did maybe even add it to the options menu Record mute on off Thanks                 Love this app Dev suggestion

I play pianosynth in my band Blue Vino was looking for an instrument that was a bit outside the box I was very much on the fence when I was contemplating purchasing a Kaossilator KO1 or the iKaossilator app I couldnt find a Kaossilator for less than about 75 When I found this app convinced myself to just get it I found myself overjoyed at its capabilities From reviews Ive read about the Kaossilator KO1 it sounds like you get at least a comparable instrument in the iKaossilator if not an ALL OUT BETTER ONE My band plays all sorts of genres this app helps with any prog experimental industrial electronic and any other genres you feel could use a boundary check For an instrument which this definitely qualifies as thats less than a tank of gas you owe it to yourself to just give it a shot                 Beyond worth the 20

More expansions Allow user to set FX zones for imported samples I would like little grid lines or something that could be toggled on and off to really hit notes accurately An FX layer mode that allows user to apply filter sweeps etc without altering the notes One or two more tracks Love all Korg apps              One or two features away from perfect

Making beats is so fun and easy with this app it feels like cheating If you want to make serious original music that you can really feel is all your own and put on your album Nano Studio or one of the many other great iOS music apps might be a better choice But if you just wanna jam out and have a blast or if you wanna introduce music making to your kids or someone with no musical experience this is the clear winner Its very visually appealing and you can actually make some sweet tunes The ability to convert to an Ableton project and refine on a computer adds a serious element for people who wanna go further Korg has a winner with this one Im excited to see how it grows and develops in the future                 Most fun iOS music app there is
