Koi Pond HD

One of the first apps I bought for my iPad 1 and still one of my favorites Its now on my iPad 3 Its beautiful relaxing fun shows how cool an iPad can be                 Love it

Dont get me wrong its a great app but its missing the one thing that made me a diehard fan with the iPhone version the sleep timer Do you know how many stressful nights that thing has lulled me to sleep Without it this is just another app on my iPad           Liked the iPhone version better

Adds power and configurability over iPhone version but at the expense of ease of use The graphics are too low in contrast Overall too dim Color scheme is muddy and visually uninteresting Graphics are detailed but cluttered Inelegant Unzenlike in its complexity My kids find it boring as opposed to the iPhone version they still enjoy Youve made a very powerful koi pond builder I just wish it was fun to use        A koi pond for engineers not artists

Appears they havent updated since OS5 Complete failure in 601 Crashes 10 seconds into launch before pond opens every time even after restart or uninstallreinstall     Should have read other reviews first

Listening and gazing is a great stress reducer The default is all I need but it can be completely customized                 Relaxing

Just wasted my money Needs more specific instruction OCT 11 Reinstalled dont see any improvementtaking off again     Lousy

the graphics and symulation are AMAZING as put in the title but it looks like your really touching the water and the koi act like the real thing                 AMAZING

Its so great You can customize the pond to be what ever I love this app I dont believe all those people who wrote bad reviews                 Amazing

It seems as if your really looking into the water The fish and turtle are awesome in their natural reactions I would love it if the fish would occasionally take a bite of a firefly or nibble at the ground rooting around The AP was worth the price and I can already imagine using it to entertain both the adults kids in the family                 Love the Realism of this AP

This app is good except for some reason the sound does not work Only works when headphones are plugged in I have to assume it is the app that is a problem because other apps work fine with speaker I have contacted the developers a total of three times and given them two weeks to respond Still nothing I will have to contact Apple for a refund now Disappointed        Bad App Support

Dont understand how the app developers could release a nonworking product I wouldnt be able to sleep at night     No sound Dont buy it

The original Koi Pond was the first iOS app I ever purchased years ago so the updated Koi Pond HD was a natural for my iPad While the new program is great with the customization options is gives you overall the look is less pleasing than the original iPhone app which doesnt look bad on the iPad anyway The colors are mostly in muted greens and browns in an effort to get away from the bright unnatural colors of the original app The higher resolution doesnt always improve the naturalness as the lily pads unfortunately look realistically plastic unlike the original app where they look like artwork but the koi are still very well animated and react naturally to taps on the water The turtles are fun but not as real looking The firefly swarms are great The pond bottom options are weak with the sand option the best to my eye It would be nice if they added the pond floors from the original app You can add shine to the floor but that just increases the unnaturalness There are ornaments you can add including diving helmets and strangely underwater mushrooms The designers must have spent some time gazing at home fish aquariums as Ive never seen koi ponds with these things in them They have also decided to give the water a cloudiness that can be adjusted but never can be set to clear the default lighting is dark for my preferences but it can be adjusted with some trial and error Still this a relaxing app to turn on and enjoy once you set up a pond to your liking           Good but needs more visual options

This is an unbelievably cool app that is definitely worth the 2 bucks You have to see it to believe it beautifully done Thanks for a really great app                 AWESOME

This is an awesomely customizable koi pond that gives You everything without getting too in your face about it The programming is awesome the graphics are good totally happy                 Awesome

The koi pond alone is enough to make me want to buy this app with the amazing graphics and clean fluid motion When I saw all of the customization options I was blown away There are endless possibilities Amazing app wouldnt change a thing worth every cent                 Amazing app absolutely worth it

As everyone else has mentioned we all miss the RAIN AND THUNDER The timer was also taken out I hope the developer sees our comments and gives us an update very soon           Missing Some Quality Specs

The fish are more erratic than the iPod version They swim off much too fast              Pretty but fish are scared off too easily

My first exposure to Koi Pond was on my iPhone 5 stars I just got an iPAD for my birthday and wanted the Koi Pond on it too Loved creating my own pond the graphics are wonderful and the interaction with the fish and water are fabulous but why did you remove the timer I am on the road a lot and use the pond app to help me get to sleep The timer was great for that Bring back the rain too please              Wow

The choices in creating as many different koi ponds as one can imagine seems endless when you consider the water and ambient lighting color options Koi Pond is synonymous with iPhone and now even better with iPad But some of us arent willing to give up some old favorites in trade for all new Bring back the rain to this versionand 5 stars is just waiting              Creative and fun

I thought Id be able to touch or move the fish No go They scatter when you tap them Why would I want an app I cant interact with     Fish scatter

Would be great if some features could be activated while in the pond Should be able to touch plants and move or delete them as well as touch to add addremove fish Certain elements like changing water color sounds etc should probably be handled off pond but please make this more interactive           Beautiful but should be truly interactive

This iPad version is not better I miss the iPhone version The coloring is different There is no rain and thunder soundsthe whole reason I like the koi pond app and find it so relaxing is the rain sounds I like the backgrounds and sounds better in hue iPhone version I find I dont use this one at all Disappointing a waste of money wish I hadnt bought it Too bad        Miss iPhone version

Its a great app but I wish you could put cattails or birds in your pond Or if the frogs moved or if you could put moss on rocks or if the tree stump stuck out of the water If there was that I would give another star              Koi Pond HD

I have some ideas for future updates Would be really nice if you could bring back the rain and thunder Another thing is maybe allow buys to edit pond size and design Another thing is maybe add more wildlife like adding in frogs that rotate between being on surface and in the water Maybe occasionally outside animals will visit the pondlike ducks and leavecome randomly Maybe the player can rotate their view of the pond to see underwater also in a 3d way Maybe you can add more insects like dragonflies etc And also more species of fish              Possibly add more

I really like this app but for some reason the feeding option isnt working for me Nothing happens when I shake my iPad or even turn it over no food no sound of food no hungry fish gobbling anything up My girlfriend has the same app on her iPad and it works fine I want to trash it and try redownloading but I dont want to have to pay again Any ideas Update well I am really disappointed in the customer service for this app I received no response to my email querying about the lack of sound and visuals for the feeding option For 199 I dont really expect much but why have a Contact Us section on your website if you dont plan to respond to customer concerns Sorry but downrating this app now on that account        Koi Pond HD

The color contols need some changes The slidind bars for tje controls are not smooth It is difficult to get the color the way tou want it I wish I could give more than 3 stars but color choice is a selling feature for the paid version           Its very good but

I would love to see rain and thunder like the original iPhone app I loved those I would also LOVE for this to be able to be installed on my iPhone 6 Plus for the times I want to chill out and relax                 A couple of requests

I am loving my Koi pond and would run it constantly if I could Id like a chance to see other users ponds as well as the defaults It takes some work to set up your own great pond but only because there are so many options I wish it had a sleep timer like the unHD version that keeps both the visual and audible going while I fall asleep                 Loving my Koi

I absolutely love this app It is beautiful and tranquil exactly what I was looking for The only thing I would ask for would be a way to feed the fish with your fingers I think that would add another level of enjoyment                 Wonderful

The full version is way better than the lite and totally worth the But I miss my thunderstorms Please add those back in along with ability to adjust each sounds volume and the sleep timer and Ill give it 5 stars              Still not as good as iPhone version

I love this app if only the frogcricket background can be tuned down I cant stand it for more than three minutes The bird singing is noisy too but I can use it at the day themes              Frogs and crickets are way too noisy

I miss the rain thunderstorm in the new HD iPad version I hope you can add it soon Have always enjoyed the original version and I suspect this will develop into another great app Oh add some frogs              Needs the thunderstorm frogs

update why no more new updates I really liked this one but was looking forward to new stuff to put in my ponds and new features This stinks I was excited to see this app finally for the iPad and this new update makes it even better The fireflies are neat but the turtles are my favorite I love the way they respond to ripples in the pond I may have to save an all turtle version of one of my ponds Keep the good work and the updates coming           Update to earlier review why no new stuff

Needs something like disable sleep in settings as other apps have Like to keep it on at my desk but kinda kills the experience when my ipad turns off the screen after five minutes Hate having to disable autolock for just one app This should be an easy fix How about a gurgling fountain on the surface or some kind of evidence of filtration You could have a variety of these as with other options Overall very relaxing app Takes the edge off stressful job                 A Couple Suggestions
