I play this game on my iPhone 5s using voice over The game is a lot of fun even if it feels a little random at times By random I mean its a little hard to play strategically when potential outcomes for any decision made are completely unpredictable at times There is a lot to do in the game Tons of hours of gameplay Hi replay value as theres so many scenarios you want to revisit Highly recommended for oldschool PC RPG fans as well as blind or low vision users as voice over works well Sort of feels like civilization meets dungeons and dragons Voiceover could still use a little improvement For example when adjusting the slider for resources you cant get The exact number of resources you want to allocate                 Fun game worth the price

I downloaded this game for a 12 hour flight I played it for 6 hours without looking up from my phone I never played it on PC but the iOS version is by far the best app on my phone and its one of my all time favorites on any platform Completely worth 10 dollars                 My favorite game

I find many ios games by and large disappointing Kodp is the rare exception It is one of the few games on the platform which has the depth required to keep a hardened turnbased strategy gamer like me engaged I also love the music and artwork I have been gaming since the 80s so Ive played a few games in my time                 Probably The best iOS game

This is truly a great app and great game Well worth the 10 bucks I dropped on it Ive bought 60 dollar games that give me as much game time as this 10 dollar app With a interesting story IMO hours of gameplay for a single campaign and excellent replay value this game has entertained me for many hours The ONLY quarrel I have personally have with this game is that it doesnt have multiple save slots for separate campaigns Which is fine considering the type of game this is however if at all possible idk as Im not a game developer I would love to see this simple I think feature added in a future update Thanks for the great game                 Most interesting

This game is as realistic as the games situation can get For example lets say for the sake of example you raid and fail so you go back in time you might send stronger forces but things might be different and if they are the same the outcome might be different What Im saying is that you never completely have control so maybe if you restart the year half the things happened before might never happen the second time                 I was shocked

I played this game thoroughly for a few weeks and beat it a few times so its not like I didnt give it a chance or didnt learn how to play I was looking for a 4x type game and after reading all the great reviews this game has here and on meta critic I dropped the ten bucks on it If youre thinking of getting this game let me tell you these people boasting over it are total fanboys this game is worth 1 maybe 2 dollars max 10 is a crime This company should be ashamed of themselves for charging this price It appears very intricate and it is hard and addictive at first but once you figure it out you discover that the gameplay is very predetermined If you want to not die then you are forced into using the same playstyle everytime The scenarios and storylines are plentiful but after one playthrough they become very repetitive there is very little replay value unless you are super into learning the all the lore in the game There is a lot of nice artwork and very in depth lore If youre really into that then maybe this is the game for you If youre looking for an actual strategy game then look elsewhere there are great games out there that blow KoDP out of the water and cost half the price By the way Ive never written a review for anything before but I had to post this because its just wrong how all these people are misleading everyone by 5 starring this     Dont waste your money on this game

I absolutely love this game From the wars to the sometimes backstabbing politics of a tribe it is a great game The only thing I would want added would be the ability to sell my captured thralls Either way I would recommend this to anyone                 Great Game

Ive played many games on my iphone and this one is hands down my favorite that I go back to time and again Definitely worth picking up                 The best purchase Ive made

For the longest time I wanted to play this game but the price tag was keeping me from buying it Finally over my Christmas break I bit the bullet and picked it up The first play through or so I had a lot of fun the problem is there really isnt that much to do and often times youll find yourself doing the same things over and over and over Also while the game feels kind of free form its not really a sandbox style game at some point youll find yourself being pressured to become a clan people will start to leave and at some point unless you become a clan youll hit a glass wall In the end I cant really call it a simulation game because its far too much based on luck and magic After about 4 or 5 play throughs I got sick of the game and dropped it Not really worth the price tag        Not worth the price

I am so happy to have found this game I am incredibly surprised by the depth and cant put it down I wish there were more games on this level of awesomeness for the busy minded PS Dont listen to the derp who claims its not worth the money because he only played through it 4 or 5 times A play through can easily take you 30 hours A good play though much MUCH longer                 Thinking men rejoice

Great concept just WAY WAY WAY too many rules It makes the sim VERY difficult to analyze Results often seem arbitrary I think with more time invested I could figure it out but Im just not willing to put that kind of effort in        Bad Sim Beautiful Game

Im a huge fan of this game since having it on PC so long ago I recommend buying it for sure If your playing games for a fun yet thoughtful challenge then this is the game for you Its really great to see a game that isnt just mindless drivel and explosions or gun work This game is a refreshing change nowadays AND its always fun to come back to after a hiatus The only negative I can think of is that there arent more of these games Playing as trolls or beast men or dragonnewts or any of the other fantastic species would be a blast Edit just started again Cant believe Ive been playing this for years and only beat it once Edit2 delighted to see new scenes coming to this game The few negative reviews seem to be people that have trouble understanding written language or not caring at all to get into the lore Everything you need for hero quests is readily available part of the game is learning them whether its from sacrificesblessings or other tribes                 GREAT GAME

I love the concept of this game The art is beautiful and it makes the game a lot more enjoyable But this game has some flaws I hate how the decisions you make have seemly random consequences Also raiding results seems very random It feels like there is not much you can do other than accept some random consequences of your actions Also some events repeat themselves consecutively For example some old lady is found doing evil magic I resolve this event only to have the same event show up again a few minutes later Also hero quests are very boring and suffer from the same random consequences But this time you end up losing one of your best clan member for seemly no reason           Interesting game but has some flaws

This deep textdriven game engulfs you in a richly described world In some ways it is the Platonic ideal of Choose Your Own Adventure because you continually make choices that drive the narrative However there are random events a rhythm driven by the seasons of the year a complete fantasy culture In other ways it resembles FTL in that you have a longterm goal and no takebacks in the overused inaccurate vernacular it is roguelike It costs the same as a movie think of it as a deeper experience even though it lacks the flash of special effects and animation More novel than most novels and worth the price                 more novel than most novels

This game is so freaking stupid Its a great concept but its so dang difficult I cant do it without dying I have bad luck in most choices I make in the game so I keep getting killed or plundered or cursed Etc I hate this game     Stop

The scenarios are intriguing at first but soon you learn the best combos and the fun goes out of it A lot of it is just tapping choices on a dialogue box maybe Im missing something but the other tactical choices like warrior numbers or council members only seem to have a negligible impact I found it impossible to maintain decent morale and riches in my tribe and just gave up after a while        Interesting for a while

on those fond memories alone ill buy this sight unseen whatever happened to chaosium did they just decide enough was enough well they did a good job with glorantha and whatever they did after that i hope they are doing well their creative spirit earned them a special place in my heart am i gushing well its a small place for comments so intensity counts there were some great conversations with spirits bound into equipment                 i remember griffon mountain campaign book as a starting place for games i ran

Ive been playing this game for many years and I love the updates that are released periodically It is an investment up front and worth every penny The gameplay provides a wide variety of situations characters and gods as well as a fully fleshed out history of the land I like to play this game over and over Think Choose Your Own Adventure with dinosaurs raiders and magic Its worth your time                 Awesome addition
