I bought this app for my son and he really likes it I showed it to his teacher who is also a friend of mine and she said it is a great tool to help him improve his comp skills I am so happy that we bought this ipad My rating and his teacher s rating is five stars for this app                     Great app I Love Dallas!
This app has good intentions but falls short Expecting emerging readers to go through ten stories answering four questions per story in a comprehension category is ludicrous There needs to be an option to limit the number of stories in a category before scoring a child And the stories should not purposely be written to confuse the child during comprehension testing Creating a natural age appropriate story with follow up comprehension questions teachers proper comprehension without promoting frustration and abhorrence to a subject every child must learn to maneuver to be successful throughout their school career The app needs modified to receive higher marks Perhaps consulting an elementary teacher who specializes in reading comprehension would be a good place to start         Too Long for Emerging Readers LSAppleby
