I would give negative 5 stars on this newest update to portrait mode I loved the old version like 95 of iPhone iPad users It s like 5news and 40 29 conspired to make the worst news app ever I now get most of my local news from Newspaper app and KNWA app when news shows aren t broadcasting on tv 5News app is where I used to go to get my local news have tried others and they are the same It s like just about all apps someone is always trying to update app to make it better but usually make it worse Just fix bugs if you have good feedback Like most businesses you have young people who have NO idea what the public wants                     Worst update EVER Teekell

Apparently 5 News and I have differing opinions on what constitutes alert worthy information The folks at 5 News seem to be on the everything is important side and I tend toward the everything can t be important side Give yourselves and me a break and save the alerts for the truly vital news Those who are interested in the other stories will follow them online themselves 8 10 15 There still is an issue with what is alert worthy news Please only send alerts for those things that affect a large number of people Someone hitting a deer is hardly news worthy in this part of the country let alone warranting an alert Discretion It s not overrated         Too Much Is Too Much apierce6870

This app is still useless The layout is terrible and confusing The weather section which used to be top notch is a complete joke And no landscape view for an iPad Really This used to be my go to app for news and weather but it s just too frustrating to try to use it now The separate app for weather isn t any better The blog is gone What is left is less information than I can get from just about any other general weather app     Still Useless AU Tigger
