Kevo – Your Phone Is Now Your Key

I love how the lock works It was easy to setup and program my phone It prompted me to update the lock and was finished in 10 minutes I left it and when I returned it was up to date and working beautifully                 Very easy setup Super impressed

One of the best locks ever Its ability to open and close Even to put others is important I wish adding more people were free                 Best lock ever

I love it when it does work on the first touch Unfortunately that is about half the time Usually I have to stand and touch the lock about four times before it unlocks However with locking from the inside it will work with barely a touch when Im trying to open the door           Doesnt always work

This thing is great so far Calibration was simple Setup was a breeze Fully satisfied                 Works exactly like its supposed to

Im very impressed with the lock I have now been using it 6 months with no issues Ive even had house sitters and they were easily able to get in an outside the house No more worrying about lost keys or hidden keys Now to install the rest of the house with them Now only if I can get the rest of my family members to get smartphones Nice product                 Kevo lock black

kevo is a great easy way to unlock a door without the hassle of keeping a key you can always get in to your house and dont always have to keep track of a house key the only problems I have received with the app is that when I first downloaded the app it would shut down every time I would try to open it which eventually made me have to delete the app I redownload it after redownloading the app I received no other difficulty except occasionally not having the door unlock the first try making me have to press it again other than that the app is great and extremely easy              great but has its quirks

The app wouldnt open and kept crashing leaving me locked out of my house Worst nightmare This is an app that should NEVER and I mean EVER crash Lost faith     Wont open keeps crashing

It took longer for me to take off my old lock than to install the new The programmingcalibration threw me a lil but I called their tech support They answered in two minutes and got it working in 5 As a single female who works late and doesnt want to fuss with a key at 10 PM or with a handful of groceries I give the kevo 5 stars                 The kevo is awesome

I was a big fan of the code electric lock but this takes it to a whole new level My only concern is the potential for Bluetooth hacking              Cool gadget

Set up was a breeze Updating the device was too Lets see what happens next                 So Far So Good

I had high hopes for Kevo when I bought it but have been repeatedly disappointed with its performance After a software update it would finally calibrate properly The frustrating thing is its unreliability Frequently it takes at least two attempts to lock or unlock and sometimes I have to resort to using the key When it does work properly it takes longer to operate than if I just used the key It also frequently locks itself without touching it     Not worth the money

Love the lock and setup was easy 199 per ekey after dropping 200 on the lock itself is just annoying though Were a business and will need a few more than two ekeys              Awesome Drop the extra key fee for a 5th star

Never unlocks u less i take my phone out of my pocket 80 of the time i also have to take my phone out of sleep mode and sometimes it wont even unlock unless I launch the app I have calibrated updated deletedreinstalled and still the same        Would be great if it worked as advertised

Occasionally I have to restart my phone or Kevo stops working But its not that often and its usefulness not to mention its coolness outweigh more Love coming home with tons of stuff to carry and not being needed to put everything down to the ground to open my door then recoordinate and pick all stuff up again                 Pretty cool

I have several investment property and I put on them They work perfectly and I can offer my clients an e key anytime I need to                 Ilove love love this thing

App is completely not working for the past 30 days please push the fixed version else this is waste of money and effort     Not working

Well at least it saves pocket real estate because I dont have to carry a key but for the app to work I have to hold the phone right next to the lockso its like having to use a key Even then it only works the first touch about 50 of the time For 200 I was hoping for something more reliable           50 percent

Love this product We use it all the time and its so nice to know our friends have spare keys without physical copies floating around It would be nice if there were a way to remotely lock and unlock the Kevo though Maybe a future update              Great Product

The system itself works good for me and ok they have to make a few bucks for ekeys fine What I do not understand is why you cannot lock and unlock remotely I heard this option maybe coming as part of a subscription fee Really I will change the system out if it comes to a subscription fee to to remotely lock and unlock my house           Remote opening

Ive been using this app for months The key fob does not work consistently so I use the app more often It would be great if the history showed when the lock is lockedunlocked by anyone entering the house              Good idea

Sometimes great most of the time not        Horribly inconsistent

Seems to work really well my only issue is none of my contacts will show up and only a few of my moms will either Im not quite sure of the reason for this but never the less very cool              Really handy

I love the idea of Kevo but it is a hit and miss in functionality Needed a patch but still has its moments I dont like when its acting up it will unlock when I am away from the door range and it will unlock              Kevo has a mind of its own

I love the functionality of the Kevo lock system being able to give out ekeys using my phone to unlock the doors etc But the battery usage of the Kevo app on my phone is out of control It is consistently the 1 or 2 user of battery life throughout a day despite the fact that I only lock or unlock my door a couple of times This REALLY needs to improve I am about ready to stop using the app and start carrying the keychain dongle Three stars for the app itself because of this issue           Love the functionality but battery use is awful

Overall its a good lock Support has been really great on it so far It does take a bit for the lock to realize the iPhone but other than that Im glad I dont need to carry a bunch of keys anymore              Good a bit quirky

Kevo is a very useful lock love the fact that you forget about having to carry keys For some reason the app wont work on the background I have to unlock my phone and open the app in order for it to unlock           Very useful has its flaws

This rocks Makes it easy to share ekeys and the fob is great for the kids                 Best thing ever

So you spend almost 300 for a Bluetooth enabled lock and if you want to add extra keys beyond the 2 that comes with it you got to buy them for 250 each Pretty pathetic if you ask me Would be better if it was wifi enabled too so that anytime the door locked unlocked it could notify you or be IFFF enabled     Digital keys cost money

I dont have many problems with Kevo My son on the other hand who has an Samsung phone and not the proper Bluetooth software cannot use Kevo It frustrates him to no end              IPhone 6 users go ahead and get it

Since the latest iOS update a few days ago the feature to allow the use of Kevo in the background without having the app open all the time does not appear to work Ive tried most routine procedures to prompt it to function when you turn onoffon the Bluetooth functionality for Kevo in the privacy settings Hopefully this will be fixed soon Also have noticed that it seems to help wakeup the iPhone for the Bluetooth functionality if a tap it jiggle the phone in my pocket              Upgrade issue

This lock works great for me I never have to worry if the kids have their keys Of course they always have their phone I do have one issue with it If you accidentally touch the lock it will engage before you shut the door They need to take a play from the fingerprint identifier on the iPhone Other than that its a great help              Great lock

Im not liking the kevo as much as I thought I would Maybe Im using it wrong Kevo logs me out randomly every time I have to log in my app to unlock the door It gets really annoying Hopefully it reads the finger prints It also takes about 5 seconds to lock and unlock which I think is too long Hopefully to see some improvements        Not really liking it

I love my Kevo when it works but man alive The battery usage is horrible It is constantly draining my battery Once this is fixed Ill definitely give it five stars           Great concept but major battery hog
