Used it for two days driving around Kauai Did not come on very much Not very informative Guide book would have been more helpful             Okay TT139

The app is ok but it does not provide anything that you couldn t get with google maps and a guide book on beaches the most useful part of the guide is the beach breakdown as it points out better places for leaning to snorkel snorkeling and places where you shouldn t swim The app is full of useless information that is somewhat randomly organized I also believe that some of the so called shopping complexes may have paid for advertising as only certain ones are mentioned without any distinguishing reasons Finally the app does not make use of the GPS feature as it does not provide any helpful directions or parking suggestions             Ehh Dhelfnxtsikd

Really made driving the island a blast Must have for visitors as you get local insights and lots of secrets about farmers markets smoothies and health food stores especially which days are preferred We loved this and would recommend it to anyone visiting the island works really well with Audio books                     MOST AMAZING Tim Zaitsev

We had recently purchased this app for our trip to Kauai having used other gps apps in other locations The guide was helpful and provided us with lots of information on our trips through the island However I would make some suggestions 1 in many instances we had already passed the street or location mentioned by the guide before the guide was finished describing the sight The speaker should start earlier giving more time to listen and then stop to view the site mentioned 2 the guide does not differentiate between direction travelled it does not mention if you have to turn left or right depending on the direction travelling 3 once the guide talks about a site it does not play it again unless the guide is reset it took us some time to figure out how that we had to reset the guide we had passed some sites we wanted to see on our way out of lihue and were hoping to stop on the way back but the guide did not repeat the info until we reset the machine Once we figured out how to reset we were able to use the app The app did make our drives around the island more enjoyable and worth the money I think our suggestions would improve the operation                 good but needs improvement kauai travel

A must have app if you re planning a driving tour of the island The information provided along the way is very informative interesting and helpful but not intrusive to a pleasant drive Many of the sights pointed out would have been very difficult if not impossible to find without this app Definitely worth every penny paid even though we only used it for one day                     Buy it use it love it Bigshepherd10

This app cause us to find some interesting spots Loved the chime right before the announcement since it caused all of us to be ready to listen The history was great and even pointed us to some fabulous spots The points of reference did not repeat themselves on the way back thankfully Thank you and please keep it updated                     Really enjoyed this app ErinSavov

We loved the GPS tour The app made the longer drives to the North and South shores more fun The beach road turnoff suggestions were on point The history of various spots on the island was very cool The only thing I did not like was the app had to be open and phone screen left on Any time you turn off the screen or phone goes into lock mode the tour stops Not a problem if you remembered your car charger big problem if you didn t It also ran my phone pretty hot no more so than imaps but definitely would prefer to click the screen off and still continue the tour I wish there was more added occasionally through updates It is the tiny isle Kauai and the tour is really fun but I think there is a lot more that could be said Overall this was my go to Kauai App and not the popular book series app simply for the fun guided tour I loved the chimes before she spoke and loved her voice too Great job Keep it fresh Mahalo                 Loved it BUT Herb Smoker420

Very nice audio tour Just enough info You start the app and just drive when you pass a GPS trigger point it gives you specific timely info You can run a GPS map in the background to have turn by turn directions if you like Somehow it seems that when returning on the same road it doesn t play the same thing again which is nice I rarely give a 5 rating to anything but this app gets one                     Excellent Gymbola

We bought this app even after noticing it had mixed reviews I was so impressed with this app My BF and I drove around the island and it would tell us interest points ahead and where you can find places to eat and where to turn off before you reach the interest point It gives an interesting aspect about the island and has a very nice pleasant voice For 7 99 it was well worth the price Think about how much you spend on any tour bus I highly recommend you buy this app if you are planning on doing any driving around the island in a rental car                     Awesome App for getting around island Debbie&Will

We just returned from Kauai and this app was spot on The gps function worked beautifully on my iPad It told us EverythinG that was coming up with relevant details As a bonus the presenter has a pleasant voice to listen to unlike some other apps                     Excellent tour guide iPhone4FanFare

We setup app to provide sound through the rental car s aux car not equipped with Bluetooth but that would ve worked too feature and we were so happy to have a guide that didn t need to be tipped and didn t take us to places we didn t want to go to AND she even told us of tourist traps and advised when better photo opportunities were available if we were short on time It is well worth the 7 95 fee Have a great trip                     Great Tour Guide Tip Already Paid Jeniva

We spent a week on Kauai with the kids and this app both helped in planning where to go e g which beaches are good for snorkeling and helped us enjoy the island when we were there By activating the audio as you drive the app is like having a tour guide in the car The information was timely and interesting We learned a lot just by driving around and listening Best of all it does not repeat information when you visit the same place twice How awesome is that We had friends who visited at the same time but did have the app We were constantly telling them some of the interesting information the app had told us on the journey 5 enthusiastic stars                     Pull the trigger and buy it GJM 157

My husband and I went to Kauai on our honeymoon Before hand we did all kinds of research and had basic list of what we wanted to do on the island Along our way to planned activities this app would tell us of various points of interest and we made several unplanned stops It has fun facts about movies shot on the island info on historical events and helpful bits like where to park for access to a secluded beach Parts of the island are very lush and the roadway can be curvy Watching for mile marker signs that are green in color against a background of green vegetation can be challenging Plus street names can all sort of look the same if you are new to the Hawaiian language and alphabet The GPS guide tells you when to turn to see sights and lets you just enjoy the spectacular views without straining to see and spell out street signs                     Helpful and informative and kind of fun Dtsao

I wish this was more like their Maui app but this app allowed us to rent a car and drive the island at our own pace stopping when and where we wanted We had a great trip with this apps help I would suggest you take a car charger since the iPhone battery will wear down before you get across the island and back                     Very helpful app steve-ross

Sorry to say this app is useless if you own an iPad Wifi It says it s compatible which is why I downloaded it but my iPad doesn t even show an icon My iPad is synced the icon shows up in my iTunes account but no icon on the iPad Please tell me what I m doing wrong I leave for Kauai in one hour     Does not work for me Bound for Kauai

Has a lot of information and pictures in static form However live explore option doesn t work for me Turning on localization service to drive around puts me off the African coast and is useless Save your money and avoid if you want the explore guide function Fortunately my other maps gps apps work fine         Explore problematic JustSumGuy

Fantastic app It looks like they managed to find every possible event activity beach you can go to on the island They have a picture of every beach and every hike The map is extremely helpful and easy to use Love it I m so glad I got this                     Excellent Guide travellerm
