Where s the sound I was hoping that the app would show you the written translation to common karate terms used in class AND most importantly there would be an actual voice telling you how to pronounce all of the Japanese words No Voice Feature At All Very Disappointing         Disappointed wparker82

I m a Karate instructor with over 30 years experience and this is the most accurate thorough vocabulary app I have yet seen I am a strong believer in having a good understanding of vocabulary so that all martial artists can understand one another no matter their native language It s also imperative for an instructor to have a good understanding of their art s vocabulary to maintain credibility with their students For a Japanese pronunciation guide try the Warrior Pages on the web                     Excellent Accurate WarriorPages.com

The terms that are in there are great I love how how it works too spinning the wheel to get the words you want It just needs some more terms There were only a few in there that my kids are using in their karate class                 Needs more Mawatte

along with being in the martial arts i am also learning japanese this app is great for both however it would be great if there was spoken word with it the fact that it does not is the only reason i did not give the app 5 stars                 works great kenpomonster

This app has a nice clean simple interface I ve only recently started karate but this app seems to have all or most of the terms I need to learn for now It woud be even better though if there was a way to go from Japanese to English so I could work on recognizing the Japanese terms directly                 Nice and simple IMErehwon
