The app is amazing when it works but at least once a month it goes through this crashing phase When it does that I have to delete the app and re download it Not anymore I m done with this app     Crash Komett

being a beginner in kanji I love how many it looks like I can learn the only thing is the pronunciation in the information side of the kanji is really confusing so it kinda defeats the purpose of learning the kanji if you only know the English meaning and not how to pronounce it If this app had an audio option where I could HEAR how the kanji is pronounced it would help so much and then I would have a reason to use this app         could be so much better nicoisbestgirl

Could be better There is almost no explanation and the option to move forward to practice the next character is always open ie there s no requirement to master even slightly the correct form and no acknowledgment that you used incorrect form which is necessary to the person looking to learn the correct form If kana is generally meant to be written left to right top to bottom then there should be some guidelines or reprimand when if you don t Literally you can just scribble across the page I could do that in my Notes app Not helpful         Ok but Not really Hayday er

This app is very useful for practicing stroke order and testing yourself on writing the characters you can choose whether or not you see stroke animation but the button to change the description of the characters to English is not working Changing the descriptions to Chinese or Korean does not work either I m trying to learn Japanese for the first time so seeing the descriptions in English is VERY important to me as that s the only way I know what I m writing I will keep the app and hope the English descriptions are fixed in a future update it would be a great app if the English descriptions worked             Button for English descriptions not working danielie

This app is amazing It gives an easy to follow numbered stroke order animation of each kanji You can practice tracing your finger over it OR hide the animation practice tracing on a blank screen then bring the animation back to see how well yours looks in comparison On and kun readings are given plus translations in English Chinese and Korean All kanji are divided into N5 N1 levels PLUS there s kana stroke order for hiragana and katakana writing practice too AND you can even search for a kanji by typing it in or copy and paste I don t know of any other app that does all of these things Plus it s all free AMAZING                     The Best mozrt485

I don t understand what sound each character makes It isn t clearly stated but overall it has a great variety of kanji and does show stroke order This can be a useful tool but needs to clearly state what sound each character makes Maybe by adding a button             Really Confusing frenchboy10

This app is just so easy to use and does the job perfectly I am using other resources to learn the kanji and printing trace sheets and all that but before I try them I always look up the stroke order with this app The search function works excellent with the japanese keyboard                     Simple clean and helpful Danyvht

The only thing I would like to be fixed is the window sliding when I try and draw a stroke from the left to the right It can get annoying but the usefulness of the app makes up for it Thanks so much for this it s great to use to study with                     Awesome Lipuro

The fact that the kanji are split into levels of difficulty is fantastic as is the fact that there are the readings meanings and example words for each kanji I thought it was also really cool that there are Chinese and Korean readings too What really got me though was the ability to hide the kanji with the stroke order from your screen write the kanji on your own and then bring the app s kanji back onto the screen allowing you to check for sloppiness as well as quiz yourself Two thumbs up                     Absolutely Fabulous miniace7
