Kan-Do is the bank for your time your most valuable, nonrenewable resource and designed to help you spend it on the stuff you care about and control the stuff you don t. Imagine ...
The idea is good and the overall design is okay But for now I ve shelved this app 1 It crashes A lot 5s with iOS 7 1 2 2 UI is too laden with switches and knobs Kanban is supposed to be simple but this app has a complex and cumbersome UI too much so for what it is supposed to be 3 The screen flows are illogical and complex Very easy for a user to lose track of where they are Needs to be visually refactored and maybe it could be something I really wanted to like this I wanted to like it exmsft
Looks like it could be useful for managing time with some improvement What I d like to see addressed soonest 1 Provide option to lock screen during work Pomodoro timer 2 Graphical timer Numerals are distracting 3 Change font color for Work scope Yellow on white is difficult to read 4 Add integration with Google Calendar Has potential KinamiT
Each productivity app has its own model Kan Do s model is plan what you want to spend your time on and then Kan Do helps you execute that plan It s been great for me to ensure that I spend a minimum amount of productive time each day to help me stay focused on task and to think about the bigger picture of what I should spend time on In Plan mode you set up areas which you can think of as projects or as different areas of your life and set how much time you want to spend on each area over the course of the week and or on each specific day of the week You can Kan Do assumes that you re going to make progress in focused time blocks of half an hour each similar to the pomodoro technique When you do this Kan Do provides a timer with prompts for breaks and for getting started on the next block If you don t work this way you can just log work time as you finish it As you finish time commitments Kan Do shows you what s left for today and for this week It also shows you your history over the past weeks so you can see how you spent your time how full your days were etc You can adjust your commitments any time you want Full disclosure I beta tested this app and have been using it longer than it s been on the App Store Make the most of your time thinkling
