John Muir Trail Hiker

Used this on my JMT hike and was great to show trail junctions and camp sites                 Great app

Wont even start up crashes immediately I want my money back     Disappointed

Great app Im looking forward to using it this summer Thank you for the coverage of the various bailout trails This is an excellent addition to the application Waypoint grouping is a very nice improvement Thank you for that                 Great app

The app failed on day 4 of my 21 day NOBO JMT hike It crashed and wouldnt boot up even after multiple hard reboots of my iPhone On the 12th day I was able to get enough reception to delete and reinstall the app and maps But ya There is something within their maps that can cause the app to entirely crash on an iPhone 5 This is why a map and compass will always be your best bet Electronics fail batteries die Going to contact them about a refund as there is a major flaw in the maps somewhere The water sources were unreliable as most streams were bone dry Not sure if that could be changed per time of year or at least have a warning that it can run dry and not be a dependable water source That being said the simple design accurate distance markers and elevation graph was cool But since it crashed I have to give it zero stars     App unfortunately crashed 4 days into my 21 day hike

It was very nice to be on the trail and map out the day with this app All places are accurate except those listed below Not the prettiest app but very useful Problems I found on the trail Silver peak is off GPS showed me at the top of the elevation chart not at the marker Topo is in meters GPS would sometimes end up off the coast of Africa              Very useful tool

Just used this on my threeweek JMT thruhike Superusefulwas my goto GPS map and campsiteelevation guide Really well done                 Terrific

Its new so it doesnt have all the campsites or a lot of users providing info from the trail But the GPS function is cool and its a nice addition to the maps while out there And cust feedback was quick and accurate              Good jmt assistance

Used this app on a recent JMT hike So helpful when it came to planning out the trip finding campsites and especially planning out where water sources were Works in airplane mode Highly recommend                 A necessary app

This app is fantastic Im sitting at the Reds store so 60 miles in and this app has already come in SOOO useful A few times already Ive veared off trail onto some other prominent non JMT trail and I was back on track quickly On average Y Valley to reds has taken 10 seconds or less for GPS to kick in Ive got Wenk Harrison Atlas with me but using this app 90 of the time so easy to flip out of pocket than maps Good to have others but so far this has been working spot on and amazingly Only notes wish showed more items in elevation view been utilizing that more and more and show more camp site names in alignment with Atlas Harrison Finished JMT This app was tremendous Only when thunder clouds rolled in was GPS not possible otherwise 15 seconds or less to track on iPhone 5 for whole route I see update just provided landscape for elevation that was gonna be a request Other than that give a more prominent name other than tentsite like McClure Meadows and show more lakes on map Most lakes not shown                 Are U kidding me
