Unable to download all modules for offline viewing Some modules just dont work in offline mode Is really a shame since it seems like a nice app if it worked Watching in Stream mode take lots of time to load Really disappointed for the amount of money spent Better off with the King G1000 course I only wish King had an App version of their G1000 course Crashes buggy and unreliable
Buyer beware I bought the online VFRIFR combo course for 300 for my laptop Material coverage is great What I didnt like was that a year later I get a invoice for a second 300 for a renewal of service Who does this So the g1000 system that has 129 buttons is something you master in a year and never need a refresher I have had one year terms with gliem test prep products but that is something designed to help you pass an exam Hopefully you dont need that multiple years Also gliem goes out of their way to tell you the terms multiple times before you sign up for it I have a tough time finding where jeppesen mentions this one year term After contacting Jeppesen they said they were in error and it was only 30 for the renewal Now they want an equal chunk of cash around 300 for VFRIFR combo so you can do the same thing on your iPad as you can your laptop When I chatted with Jason from customer service he said that they dont have an online course for the iPad I sent him the link to his own companies website to review it and to my dismay our chatting link was suddenly disconnected Perhaps a coincidence Come on guys I expect better Be Warned
This app is buggy and crashes when I try to download what I paid for Not worth the price Crashes
I tried the demo as I recently purchased the garmin cessna nav III recently which allowed me to use my cessna pro yoke quadrant and rudder pedals so getting to fly the sim is very productive The consideration of using the ipad is the touch screen can be very productive for learning the sequence At 159 for complete course is worth consideration for those who cant get access to aG1000 equipped plane Demo really intuitive
I really like the option to buy one chapter at a time dont need to learn the basics but getting refreshed on approach procedures is great The two simulation modes seem to help me retain information a lot better than just watching another talking head video Havent had the problems that the other reviewer mentioned just need to have a decent broadband connection i guess Cool App
