Content is solid But the interface is almost a pre alpha Missing so many features especially compared to GuitarTricks which feels like a polished finished product by comparison I m gonna ride out my year membership because it has some great lessons and songs I wanna learn but I won t renew unless they fix their awful interface         Interface is a joke FilmYak

From my experience I am unable to view any lesson from the app I can access backing tracks and that s it On both my iPad Pro 9 7 iOS 10 1 and iPhone 6 also iOS 10 1 Also every time I leave the app to do something else it signs me out It s gotten to the point when I just delete the app because it is basically useless I purchased my subscription so I can use this service on the go for quick and easy access I could have easily chosen a free service but this one offers so much more But even though it offers a lot more I am turned away from it Especially since when you go to the website and it says hey we offer apps for your device and then you try them out and they fail in almost every way Then the suggested action is use the website That defeats the entire point of having a mobile app So until things get fixed I will just find an alternative At the time of writing this app shows it hasn t been updated since last year A lot has happened with iOS since last year There should be consistent updates and performance fixes for new devices and OS versions     Possible iOS 10 Incompatability Consistent Signing Out Daynev11

Trying to use this with my jam play account but no sound through my iPad I have to use safari browser to access jam play then videos have sound This app us useless for me     No sound Floridave135

Following is what I ve sent to support over and over without any response at all I am having to use the browser supported JamPlay because the app on my iPad often has no sound For everything else on my iPad sound is FINE The online browser version is quite different from the app and I am not happy with not being able to use the JamPlay app which is a superior experience and infinitely easier to navigate Even though everything else on my iPad has sound I nonetheless did the following things shutdown and restart uninstall reinstall of the app etc I called Customer Support who also turned out to be tech support This woman was in no way tech support and was not friendly She kept saying over and over that I had the mute on NO iPad was not on mute This is a problem specific to your app Twice yesterday I got lucky and the app had sound for about 15 20 minutes And yes I have high speed internet which is very reliable and averages about 75 Mbps Please help I love JamPlay but can t stand using the browser version BTW the JamPlay Cust and Tech Support woman told me she could do nothing better and would have to use the online version or ask for a cancellation She was about as useful as a broken string and had a rattlesnake demeanor She does not present a good face for your company I am extremely unhappy     App support is terrible Nor'easter

Ok not so much the app itself but the SITE What an amazing way to learn guitar I d rate the app alone maybe only 3 because of a few irritating quirks Videos play back much better on a computer compared to the sometimes jerky iPad play                     Simply Amazing VariaxFanatic

I play electric guitar but as a lefty This doesn t seem to acknowledge lefties I know it s a small minority but it would be great to appeal to them Otherwise this seems really good I don t like that the app and the website don t share information They have a progress report and completed lessons view but you should decide what version you are going to use and stick with it I use the website to print supplemental info which is usually chords and tabs I use the App for my lessons A lot of going back and forth but if print is available on the App I haven t figured out how to do it I started on the beginner level to correct bad habits and there is a lot available I m not sure if I selected the best instructor but I ve been with him for several lessons so I don t want to quit                 Good App that helps me learn Rollenrock

I will admit I don t access the app on my iPad as often as I use the web application via my iMac It is convenient to be able to access the lessons via my iPad when not in my music room My only complaint a very minor one whenever I open the app and I want to access my lessons I have to go to settings to select my instrument bass even though I m logged into my account It always defaults to the guitar rather than to my instrument even though I have already purchased a full years subscription It does not have all the bells and whistles that the full version online via web browser contains However I don t see that as an issue                 Convenient program but always reverts to its default not mine Kekuna

I really think this app is bad First it did not work after the first use Then I did not notice that it could not be used with the website I then had to contact Apple to get a refund this took about half a day Save yourself the misery skip the app sign up on the web site Remember Apple is part of this problem they could have done a lot to make the process smoother If they can automate purchasing an app in under 1 minute it should be easier to contact them to resolve issues I do like the JamPlay site just not the app     Unreliable and No access to to web content JPaterick

I consider myself an advanced beginner guitar player JamPlay s variety of instructors styles and ability levels means most guitarists should find the perfect combination for learning something new The videos are of very high quality and the supporting materials are useful Regarding the app I started on the website but I m finding the new app to be just as useful and probably more convenient The only hiccup I experienced was an initial lack of sound I sent a question to the customer support team and received an answer in two days Note make sure your iPad s system sound switch is turned on Overall a good app I m satisfied and looking forward to future updates                     Great Resource for the Beginner BlindCrawdad

I cannot get the sound to work I downloaded the app in 3 different ipads wrote to customer support installed and unistalled the app re started my ipads and still do not get any sound from the videos I downloded the app maybe 3 or 4 months ago and had the same problem Decided to try again and still no sound     Cannot get sound to work RedBlackTigerYT

I bought this app through my iTunes account and they would not let me into the paid sites Sent multiple emails then they replied asking for a receipt from I tunes which I provided and they still would not open my account They do not answer their support line and will not return my email so unfortunately I have to go through the process of doing a charge back on my account Really Zero stars I have to give one star otherwise I can t process this review     Horrible service Meower1234
