iZen Garden for iPad - Tabletop Zen Garden

My 12yearold daughter gave this app 2 thumbs up BEFORE I smugly told her Yeah the author is a friend of mine                 This is SO COOL Dad

I love this app it is beautiful and peaceful I just wish the objects had descriptions associated with then like what the pictures of the rocks and fossils are supposed to symbolize so would know how to make the most use of my gorgeous garden              Zentastic

this is a relaxing addition to my frenetic life              Zen Garden

I use this when my mind is too full to empty it I have seen beautiful gardens that take hours of creative thinking Sometimes I even just glide through other gardens for the peace it brings Doesnt matter whether it is my fingers doodling in the sand or the wash of peace from someone elses garden this app can take you to serenity                 Serenity

If you rake the sand it makes jaggy broken lines You cant create smooth even rakes please fix           Sand rake no longer even after update

Such a well thought out beautiful app Makes me love my iPad even more                 I love this app

I really enjoy using this app I find it soothing relaxing and it gives me moments to clear my mind take a deep breath and reestablish myself in the present Thank you for my little bit of peace and serenity in a hectic life                 iZen garden

App keeps placing objects on the screen and the cannot be removed unless you delete app and reinstall only to have it happen again Broken Please fix Does not work with newest iPad Do not buy until fixed     Worthless

Some of the objects when placed freeze like the orchid However I enjoy getting lost in the Zen Garden I wouldnt mind if there were objects or sounds I could purchase to complement my Zen experience              Entertaining relaxing

I have greatly enjoyed this app finding it at least for me a wonderful blend of simplicity and profundity It has all I need for what meditation I use it for and is easy to navigate and fun to explore So farI have not had any technical problems                 Very Relaxing

I love this app But it makes me sad that the rocks and other elements will ignore your gestures and be unremovable I wish I could believe that they would fix it in a update but the last update was in 2012 Again probably not worth 5           Objects are definitely buggy

This app is amazing Whenever some of our friends come over I just set out iZen Garden and everyone loves raking the sand and listening to the soothing music A must have in my iPad                 Bast app I have ever bought

The ability to say press a stone into the sand would be awesome leaves should vary more and perhaps blow in wind              Wonderful could be more lifelike

I LOVE IT They did a great job its very cool and relaxing Its also fun to mess around with even when your not making a garden but I do make many gardens The sounds are perfect too They have fountains and bonsai trees and butterflys that can move around your garden or stay still if youd like for those that are complaining of the raking lines not being clear enough there is a way to make the depth of the rake lines deeper the environment category the only thing i would LOVE is more critters beside butterflies maybe a turtle or koi pond but I like it so much I want to make a real one of my own in addition to the iPad version                 Great But maybe more critters turtle or koi pond would be great for an update

This app really is relaxing no joke But the object slide sometimes goes clear and it shuts down without me pushing the big button on my iPad As my job is very stressful when I come home I hunt for my iPad and play this app It just gets frustrating when the object slide goes clear                 Relaxing needs updates

This app is worth far more than it costs Consider the things people tend to do to distract themselves when reality is a little too real or out of plain boredom Eating probably most common because everyone has eaten when they were not hungry for one reason or another alcohol drugs You get the idea This app truly is a wonderful substitute for anyone who wants a healthier distraction There are several ambient soundtracks to choose from that are amazing the rain shower is the best rain soundtrack Ive found and I have every ambient app available and the assortment of objects that can be put in the garden must number 100 Theres more than most people would ever use though the tendency is easily to want to use them all and they are beautifully detailed right down to the selection of butterflies some that will remain perched on the object of your choosing others that will freely fly and flit around You can create multiple gardens as well Ive found it lovely to keep it up on my iPad on my desk for the ambient sound to drown out background noise and improve concentration the visual aesthetic and having it readily available when I need a mental break or as a writer come facetoface with writers block I am always looking for apps that among other things provide small helpful doses of distraction to keep creative juices flowing This has rendered all the other soso apps obsolete I highly recommend it for creatives and everyone else Many thanks to the dev for such a wonderful app Steve Jobs definitely did not overstate the iPad when he said This changes everything                 Charlie Sheen Needs This at His Ranch

Relaxing with a lot of choices including sounds objects even the color of sand You can change the size of objects so you have trees or little plants boulders or small stones                 Lovely app

I love this app I have the iPod version too In the evenings I look forward to sitting and tending my various gardens It is very calming after chasing my two kiddos around all day The quality of the images is spectacular PLEASE update to add more amazing images Thank you for this wonderful app                 Superb

It is a very peaceful way to relax That being said it only gets 3 stars because the description says hundreds of items to choose from The total is 149 many of which like the leaves are so similar they are practically identical To pluralize hundreds means there are multiples of one hundred not so in this case and very misleading           A bit misleading

It makes for a great break from work and more frenetic games I love that you can resize and rotate the pieces and create beautiful landscapes Its a kind of dynamic collage                 Soothing and relaxing

This was a splurge for me I love the options and sounds My whole family loves to create gardens I love visiting the gallery too remembering when I created a garden and how I felt and smiling at my families creations                 Peaceful

The quality of the lines from raking is poor they should be more smooth and even           Still needs work

I got this to relax after work then I found my 6 year old likes it too Very relaxing to rake the sand you can change the depth and lots of objects to add to your Zen garden                 Relaxing for all ages

A great tool to calm down if you have panic dosorder etc I wish it had black sand and more objects I hope for an update

I find raking the sand quite soothing Surprising since one cannot actually feel the sand But apparently my brain doesnt make this fine distinction as i get the flow of happy chemicals nonetheless almost as much as i did in japan meditating at an actual zen garden The music is lovely as well I use this app for relaxing mood manipulation and less for emailing images sharing with others so I cannot comment on the shortcomings of the app noted by other reviewers I think the strength of the app lies in the sensory and interactive aspect so I happily give it 5 stars A great meditation tool                 Very beautiful and relaxing

I was really disappointed getting this app I expected a LOT more especially for the high price Honestly this app looks like it was designed by a guy A utilitarian guy This app is not pretty Its just plain I get that zen is supposed to be simple But then you are better off just staying with the free version What I would have liked more flowers where are roses daisies daffodils and lilacs All you get are an orchid and some plain flowers and not many choices there are about 10 generic flowers Oh yeah you get a lot of cactus choices whoopee Also where are the crystals Red diamond crystal rainbow blue green Gemstones where are the beautiful objects This app is just really plain too plain        Disappointed
