I just downloaded it and it seems like its pretty close to what I was looking for But it has only one orientation I feel like it should be the other way around Its upside down when I make it stand landscape in my Dodo case Make it work on both landscape modes or change it to the other way and Id be happy to give it 5 stars              Almost perfect
I really dont understand why people are complaining about this app I rate an app based on the following criteria 1 Does it do what it says in the description 2 Does it function properly no stalls freezes etc 3 Are these features reasonable given the style of the app 4 How does it compare to other similar apps First there is a very extensive description on the app pages delineating which features are free and which features are part of a 199 upgrade The features described are available as described Second I have had no issues with the app freezing or misbehaving in any way iPad 3 Third the features such as brush styles colors etc are generous given that this is a free upgrade Fourth a disclaimer that I am no professional artist bit I do like to draw and use painting apps I have 25 drawing apps that I am sorting through to see which ones to delete Compared to some of the others the drawing of straight lines is smooth some have been very choppy and the app seems relatively easy to figure out I am not spending more than 5 minutes for this first round of eliminations Im no genius Im over 50 and I had no problem figuring out the basics I dont know what people are talking about saying there was only a small square to draw on there is a full page saying the ads are obnoxious there is only 1 banner app on the short side of the screen Granted an offer to purchase does pop up if you attempt to use features that are only available in the upgraded 199 version but this is reasonable In summary this app is on my short list and when I am finished evaluating I may very well purchase the upgrade I hope the dev continues upgrading the app and is not discouraged by the either negative people or simply stupid people who cant figure out how to use a pretty simple app and then leave unreasonable reviews                 Why all the whining
You cant really try something artsy unless you buy the upgrade Boo     Really bad
Omg best app ever Its almost exactly like actually drawing on Photoshop                 Ahh
I understand that these apps are offered In a lower functioning version for free so we can test drive them and decide of we like them enough to buy them I really appreciate his concession to the consumer I have had apps where the low grade version was so functional I really didnt have to upgrade but I did because knew that app would probably be awesome and I have no problem contributing to the cause of any company that can provide a great product at a decent price I love art apps and no apps need a test run more than they do because some are not comparable with an artist needs or skills I am now very aware of the apps that really arent for me fpbecause they have an obtuse approach to creating Others love these and hate my preferences so its all good Until you test pilot an app like this Its new and offered little insight about the features and design so I downloaded the lite version Right away I am greeted by ads urging me to upgrade I will upgrade if the app is right but it takes a long while to negotiate beyond the pop up upgrade commands When I finally get to the page its a tiny square and a pen I can scribble on it but thats about all I cant tell anything about the app and I can see from all the space this app devotes to ads that the creators are all about I have no issue wit their need to make but if thats all they care about I have my doubts about the app It requires an appreciation for more than money to create a solid format for artists     Dont play the peeps
Just like adobe illustrator Totally awesome                 Greatest app ever
This app is great but the only problem is it freezes and no matter what you do I wont unfreeze so you have to delete the app and reinstall it              One problem
