iVolleyStats Match

This app is great fro keeping track of your teams stats in a fast and efficient manner Keeping track of in play stats such as a hitting attempt or dig are made easy with the swipe gestures and specifically for the iPad being able to look at the stat table while plays are happening and during sets is an interface advantage over some of the other apps out there The developer is eager for feedback and quick to respond and when paired with touch stat desktop for a price you have the ability to do some higher level team analysis Highly recommended                 Great and easy to use

Used it for an entire high school season and it worked flawlessly Even uploaded my stats to maxpreps Had the guys on the bench keep stats recommend setting your phone to airplane mode so there are no interruptions and they had no trouble learning this                 Excellent will capture all data you need

Its perfect for court side stats I hope an update comes out with a landscape version which would be even easier I havent yet uploaded with film using the desktop version of touch stat but it will be an asset when making highlight film for seniors              Love it

This app is so user friendly I was keeping legit stats in no time Our club team really enjoyed the stat info If I had questions on using the app I had answeres in no time Not to mention ivolleystats has a facebook page with plenty of useful information Excellent product                 Excellent App

We just finished a three day tourney and used the app for nine matches without a problem It took my Asst coach only about ten minutes to be proficient at using the app while on the bench with our 16s team I had at least ten other coaches ask what I was using with three standing behind our bench watching us tapping away After the first set was over they all said they were going to grab their iPads and get the app The instant response and display of stats is a great help as I was able to see what rotations we were losing points on and which servers were getting us points I would buy the app again at twice the price Kevin Head Coach 16s                 iVolley stats

We are a highly ranked high school team top 20 in ESPN Rise and we use this app both during and after our matches During the match it lets us see who is playing well and after the match we can evaluate how we did by rotation The players love seeing their stats and will come up after the match to see how they did which I believe helps motivate them to play better Once you get accustomed to where the buttons are its easy to enter play by play as the point is being played                 Coaches and players love it

Did the update and now it doesnt work it opens and then closes immediately grr        What gives

The immediate stats ease of use and incredible fast response from developer are all amazing Getting the stats to my email is done in a snap easy very cool Keeping track of rotations and the number subs used are no longer an issue my assistant loves using it Great price too                 Very Cool II

I keep stats for my daughters volleyball team and this program is very userfriendly It also provides the type of data any coach would want Further I was having some problems user error so I contacted Jay Jay got right back to me and I was able to correct the errors I was making I would highly recommend this app                 Very Satisfied

I have been a high school coach for nearly 20 years and this is the first year I have kept comprehensive stats for my team I cannot believe how easy and intuitive the app is I usually have my asst coach use it but the other night everyone was gone and I found myself coaching and keeping my own stats It was easy as I learned where the button were The swipe function is nice as well but I just used the button pushing and was able to track the match very well It also takes less than a minute to upload my stats to max preps after the match My players love it they are always clamoring to know their hitting percentage and compare it to other nights I also just had an issue and emailed the developer and received a replay in less than 5 minutes that told me what I was doing wrong amazing customer service You cannot go wrong with this app By your second match your stats will be better kept and more accessible than ever before Lastly there are no in app purchases you get the whole program right here I am going to make sure my whole program has this app next season it will make us better going forward Thanks to the developers for putting out such a great product                 Great stats app

This is so helpful to tell parents why your kid isis not playing The TouchStat thing is a bit confusing but WAY COOL Action video clips is very instructive Great improvements with the swipe entry Keep it coming                 Just what I needed

I was looking for an easy stat keeper for games and this is the one Easy to use once you figure it out The only thing I would like is to be able to go back in and edit match info if necessary              Love this app

Just finished a three game match It froze briefly in second game only lost a few points but it does throw one completely off the stats screen Third game a major freeze lost several plays                 it is a bit unreliable

I was a little leary at first since Im an old school clipboard and paper stat guy I have 2 assistants and myself keeping stats on everything I got the IPad 2 and saw this app last year at nationals A coach was keeping stats and I had to ask him about it After several emails with Jay I decided to get it for this season and it is just amazing I got the ivolley match since Ill be using it during club season as well So it allows you keep multiple teams Right now I have our JV Varsity and Club team It took us a little while to get used to it but over all a great app Well worth the money                 Great app

Great application simple to use It would be great if you could do some simple stuff like renaming the roster or changing the dates of the games occurred and stuff like this Also woild be good to organize matches like championships regular season and so on but i general great app              Great app

I have always wanted to keep accurate stats without paying tons of money this is awesome and always with me The TouchStat video slice thing is cool                 Wow

I have just started using iVolleyStats I have been using another stat program for years I am having difficulty learning how to use the program I have watched the video found online but it really does not help a great deal I would like a manuel to guide me along I have always rated serves on a 04 scale with a 4 being an ace and an error being a 0 I cant use that scale with this program I am having difficulty with my line up and tracking contacts such as player 1 digs player 2 sets to player 3 who hits and is dug up and the play continues with more digs sets and hits Like the title saysI am still not sure           Still not sure

not only immediate stat calculation but upload to MaxPreps What a life saver                 HUGE time saver

Weve used this In HS for 4 years Excellent program Very accurate The only thing it doesnt do is give 12 blocks to individuals on a double block Really good program Will upload straight to max preps as well              Great program

I have used this program for 2 seasons and it is excellent I had a suggestion emailed it to the developers and they implemented it in this new release Now that is listening to your consumers                 Great stat program and caring developers

Interface is okay Need landscape viewing and a better configuration of action buttons Need to be able to have settings like match length such as match is best out of three games to 25 third game to 15 win by two and then have the program stop adding stats and points for that match and game Right now you have it go as high as you want I also dont like that active buttons are grayed out with the text To me that means inactive A color coded button system might be nice And I will like all the buttons to stay on the screen not disappear Instead of disappearing they could just go gray and not be active This way it is a constant keyboard of actions that the user can get used to like we all got used to the iPad keyboard that I am typing this review on now Looking forward to giving this program 5 stars after some changes Has loads of potential just needs some work If changes dont come will look for another app           Needs work but can be useful

This is not very user friendly It takes a while to get used to selecting players and what they did I like the idea of being able to see weak rotations Once you get the hang of it its not too badI use undo a lot           takes a while

I was keeping stats by hand for our team until this app I now use it exclusively on my iPhone and love it When I first used it I had some questions and suggestions so I sent an email on a weekend during a tournament and figured I would get a response when I got back but I was pleasantly surprised to get one back right away I cant wait to get an iPad now to use this app on Thanks                 Great App Great Support

After a very short learning curve this app is very helpful to 1 Track what happened 2 Determine next practices drills 3 Highlight individual player weaknesses to work on them 4 Figure out strongest rotation and be able to support it when asked There are a few things that would make it better but after emailing back and forth with developer those things are already in the works The developer is also very responsive and helpful I recommend this app                 Great app

Having tried and gotten frustrated with several scoring and statistical applications I found this one just ahead of our current Junior Olympic season starting and have been extremely pleased with the functionality ease of use ease of sharing statistics and overall capability It takes a short amount of practice to get fluent in its usage and then keeping game stats and tracking score is exceedingly easy As a coach the other great thing has been the realtime ability to share statistics and be able to use them in a variety of ways both for communications and as teaching tools Its absolutely well worth the 20 and will certainly be the scoring platform Ill be using for awhile                 Best ingame app I

After using DigScout for several seasons on a laptop kept looking for comparable app on the iPad for a comparable price Had settled on laying out more than 6 times the price of this app for the competitions product Found this app and was suspicious that it wouldnt compare After reading everything I could find on it I purchased the app and was doing an adequate job recording stats after 1 set Love the layout love the touchscreen aspect and the live stats on the top half Was concerned about exporting but was pleasantly surprised with the ease of sending the data Perfect for getting detailed stats on one team not opponents Would like to see the ability to enter lineups visually into positions instead of comma delimited Also would like ability to not have assists automatically go to setter Very fast responses to user questions                 Great Value
