Not bad I can translate complete sentences Paragraphs I can turn the voice audio up or down change how fast or slow the lady translates Its a nice app for 99 Who has the money for Rosetta Stone              Yeah

Being 12 Italian this will serve me well     Great App

I purchased this app for my trip to Italy which I just returned from I was so excited to use it but it shut down when I hit translate I restarted my phone and each time it shut down I spent 10 days in Italy and was disappointed to not have been able to use this app And yes it was working prior to my 40 upgrade I see there is an update     Crashes

App desc doesnt tell you that you need to be connected to data network Since that costs big in foreign country this app is useless     Need global roaming to use

Im visiting my cousins in Italy that know no English so I bought this It is very helpful but the translating voice is hard to understand              Cool

The text to voice is excellent To type special characters you just press and hold the key and options appear           Speak Italian

I have not tried this out abroad and thanks to other reviewers I will use something else however for home use it is great As I am learning Italian I want to learn to correctly pronounce things What I like about this app is that I can use it basically anywhere so long as there is phone service or wifi which means that I can look up things as they come to mind and not have to remember it for later when someone else can help me with the pronunciation Also you can save translations which means you do not have to have any connection phone service or wifi to look at them again                 Extremely useful

I have bought many apps and never take the time to post a review but this app is great Very simple to use and very powerful too A must have for anybody who wants to learn Italian Well worth the price              Great App

Its a great app But it happens alot that it tells me the server is having problems and try later Itll translate a word Then tell me to try later when i try to do it again Traaaaggic uu              Sigh

Not worth my money at all after using it for 2 hours it stopped translating from English to Italian it just stayed in English I even tried reinstalling the app but it still happened Even while it was still working the text to speech function was terrible I couldent make any sense of it even when I tried it on something in English I couldent understand it Save your money and dont buy this app     Huge waste of money

Coming from an Italian family I dont really know Italian so this has really helped me speak Italian Thanks to this app I can have small conversations in Italian                 Wow so helpful

This app is great It would be good if it was a simple translation but the fact that it speaks the phrases is great                 Amazing app

Translator adds extra vowels and sometimes cuts words off French and German ispeak translators dont have this problemnot sure why the Italian one does that Please fix as soon as possible Thanks Also any chance there will be ispeak Russian           Needs work Please fix soon

It doesnt work without internet connection so it is useless abroad try to pay milions for roaming to be able to understand people in foreign country I wish not to pay them     Useless without wifi

This app works fine But the Developer does not mention you need a Internet connection WiFi3G for the application to run I was planning to use it in Europe Oh well        Works fine but Beware

The only downside is that it requires an internet connection to translate However you can save all of your common phrases and access them without the internet The pronunciation help is priceless                 Great app

i am quite disappointed with the ispeak app it was my impression from the description that an individual could speak in english and the app would translate and speak back in italian instead one has to input in text and then it speaks back nothing new about that dozens of apps do that and are free     ispeak app

Dont buy this app Its exactly the same as Google Translate I did a few tests translating the same sentences into Italian on this app then on Translate Got the exact same results     Do not buy

Bought ittried it first 2 translations worked tried about 10 more and server error each time By the way on a super strong Internet connection        Translation server is unavailable

Hi I went into the apple store to get my iPad upgraded and when I got it back there were no games just messiging I will never upgrade it again                 Great

Very dissatisfied Often does not translate at all just repeats the Italian phrase instead of translating it into english With the frequency of these problems I would not purchase this app Hopefully the developer will fix the bugs and improve the quality        Disappointing

Wifi isnt really broadly available in Italy and nobody is going to pay for data charges I only used it for translating in the hotel I suppose its nice to be able to save translations for later when you dont have access to the internet        requires net conn

We purchased this application for an upcoming trip It appears to require internet access to function I am concerned because data is very expensive when you have an american phone and you are traveling abroad Wifi spots are not as common in other countries so this will be an issue for our ability to use the app for travel When in an area with internet access it does appear to work very well and the speech was very clear              iSpeak

Do give this app the benefit of the doubt I tried to use it 15 times and each time it crashed when I clicked on Translate Worked awesome before the upgrade        CRASHING since update

I just returned from Italy and was disappointed with this app While it works flawlessly when there is an Internet connection in most cases overseas there isnt unless you pay exorbitant fees Good idea flawed execution        Good app but not useful on the go

Beware Does not work when not connected to the internet I could not use the app in Italy without racking up huge data roaming charges They need to make some kind of stand alone mode so the thing functions in some way when not connected to the Internet In the meantime Im quite happy with my Collins EnglishItalian dictionary and will uninstall ispeak Italian for our upcoming trip to Italy to make more room for photos and music        Limited usefulness
