iRing FX/Controller

This app stopped working with Audiobus back in Sep 2014and without Audiobus this app has zero functionality Its now April 2015 and although IK Multimedia promised a fix at the time their customer support recently told me they are focusing resources elsewhere so dont expect a fix any time soon Dont waste your money buying an iRing youd just be flushing 2499 down the toilet     Do NOT buy an iRing

As long as I dont get any popup ads that plague some of IK Multimedias other apps interrupting me I give this one thumbs up Its fun to use sounds good works great in Audiobus and so on And no physical iRings are needed to use and control everything in this one At the moment there are 16 different effects think LiveFX Turnado Effectrix etc to get creative with It is a bit limiting in terms of numbers of effects running at the same time which is 2 when compared to beasts like Sugar Bytes offerings But it uses the multitouchscreen XY interface really well allowing you to manipulate both effects simultaneously and sub parameters An advantage this one do have over other similar multi effect units on iOS is that its universal so you can use it on your iPhone as well If I do get popup ads I will update the review and score to reflect that                 Fun Good sounding djsmashup multieffect unit

Non functional on either of my IOS8 devices Embarrassing that Apple allows this to be sold via the Apple Store Investigating a return of mine     No IOS8 support

If you use iOS 8 and Audiobus the iRing apps will not work IK Multimedia says they are releasing fixes but provide no ETA     Not ready for iOS 8 and Audiobus

The iRings are a novel way of adding new ways to have the control of your music right on your hands They are super affordable peripherals and they really unlock the potential of the apps made to use them Its such a cool way to handle your music they really work and in a very short time youll be doing some amazing things not possible with out useing such a marvelous device There are 4 apps out currently that the user can use the iRings with and change the way music is made for ever With the iRing control app you can control your sounds by just turning wavering and moving your hands over the screen where the camera can see the lil dots on the actual rings thats the key to how they work once you register them your all set And haYou have a new way to control your effects which will look awesome on stage or even to just impress your friends                 The iRings are Awesome

These ring apps are understandably more simple to control using an iPad but they are still fun with the iPhone I think it is pretty awesome to be able to control music and effects by moving your hand and especially when it doesnt have to cost hundred or thousands to do it I am sure these ring controller apps with get better and better over time The only area I can mention as something I would like to see improvement sooner rather than later is just the overall appearance of the app interface However that is kind of petty because it has no effect on the function of the app                 Addictively Fun
