Interweave Knits Magazine

I want to love this app but the magazine is stuck in landscape model making it hard and awkward to read on the subway        Stuck in landscape

Paid for a single issue and it will not download past the first two pages Even after Refresh error message says it is not a valid file Since there is nothing in settings for customer support Im writing here for help     Stuck downloading paid issue

Every single other print subscription allows me to download the digital copy for free Very disappointing     Another unhappy print subscriber

I was really disappointed when I found out my subscription to the actual physical magazine of Interweave Knits would not carry over to the digital version Instead were expected to buy each issue over and over again To basically pay for the same thing twice No thanks Id rather spend that money on yarn for a new project     Youll have to buy another subscription

I am another who purchased a subscription and have received nothing I am extremely disappointed and have an email into their customer support I agree do not buy anything until they have solved whatever issues there are     No Subscription

I am a print subscriber and cannot find any means to log in to gain access to the issues digitally This needs work     Access

If you try a digital subscription to get the magazine as quickly as possible forget it Interweave has no respect for digital subscribers They dont send the digital version to Apple until the publication date and then blame Apple for any delay Meanwhile the magazine is on sale on their website and in stores for weeks before we get it I will never subscribe to another Interweave product     No respect for digital subscribers

The current issue is never available on time My friends with print subscriptions get them long before the app updates For the Fall 2013 edition I had to write customer service The Winter edition has been out for a while and yet again it isnt available for digital subscribers It is frustrating enough that Ive turned off autorenew I dont love this magazine enough to have to go chasing it with each edition     Never updates on time

There really should be a built in digital subscription for print subscribers like other magazines I subscribe to several Interweave publications that I would love to have access to on my iPad Why would I pay for a subscription twice     No digital subscription for print subscribers

The iPad version is not that good Not a way to section off patterns in pages making the patterns extremely hard to use Cannot if a way to do a PDF from mag This should have been done in pdf Save your money ands buy the actual magazine     Dont waste your money

Love the magazine itself hence the 2nd star but they are very slow to provide the magazine to subscribers via iTunes The summer 2014 issue has been out for a couple of weeks in both the paper and digital editions but loyal and PAID iTunes subscribers still cant downlod it I have emailed Interweave and have yet to receive a response I have turned off auto renew and will not be subscribing again when my subscription expires        Slow to provide issues to subscribers

Interweave Knits is my fav knitting mag I love reading it on my iPad and was happy when the app came to newsstand instead of just Zenio However I have more problems getting it to update with the newest edition None of my other mags of which there are many give me a problem Im also not a huge fan of the scroll down for content format It makes the issue seem much shorter I prefer the traditional turn the page format most of these magazines have retained           Buggy

I have a digital subscription that comes up on my Nook without a problem I cant get it on my iPad even though its already paid for What a joke No place to enter my subscription No customer support Dont waste your time     This is useless

This app will not complete the download process Interweave will not take responsibility for this as they state it is an iTunes app and the iTunes link returns you to Interweave So in other words I do not get a functioning app and I do not get my money back I would rate ZERO stars but unfortunately iTunes wont let me     Save your money

I too bought the year subscription got the first issue but cant update with new issues I went to the apple store for help and they couldnt figure it out Im going to call interweave and ask for a refund What a waste of time and money     Does not work

I love this magazine but You can enlarge the ads quick enough but not any of the patterns or pictures if you want to get a better look at the detail Thats why I wanted this version of the magazine so that I could blow up the charts to see them better Now Im trying to figure out how to print a big copy of the charts from my iPad I emailed Interweave Knits but have had no response Maybe they can do an update to solve this problem           No enlargement of patterns

I love this magazine and I love my iPad But this review is for the app and it is poorly managed Why do I get my paid subscriptions weeks after the magazine is available for purchase I still dont have the fall 2015 edition but at least I can peruse the patterns on Ravelry Glad they fixed the landscape problem that was just weird        Dont subscribe through iTunes

I think I could get used to this and not have to worry about storing paper magazines I like the favorite button that saves my favorite patterns so I could go to them in an instant instead of having to flip through the magazine For people who like to photo copy the pattern all you have to do is take a picture of your screen then go to your albums and print              Not bad

I always receive my subscriptions late or not at all It took me 5 emails to get this issue resolved with the publishing company for the last issue Now that the Summer 2014 is released Im having the same problem This is such a hassle I cant understand why this has to be so difficult I love the magazine but it drives me crazy when I cant see what Im paying for This is an issue that need to be resolved or this is the last time I renew my subscription        Great Magazine but terrible subscription issues

I purchased this app a few days ago A 1 year subscription for 1999 but once the purchase was complete I did not receive the current issue I didnt receive anything but confirmation of the purchase by email I even tried restore previous purchase as well as deleted the app and reinstalled it but still no magazine Stay clear of this app until they get this issue fixed I contacted the makers of the app the day I purchased it I still havent received a response     Do not purchase

I have subscriptions to Interweave Knits Piecework Piecework has been a pleasure to read but Im still waiting for the summer Knits issue which should have updated automatically Customer support is nonexistent Dont bother with this one     Disappointing

New issue was released on July 29 and available for purchase at my LYS Yet I have the digital subscription and its not available for download yet What gives     New issue not available

What good is this when you cant print the pattern There is no way of saving the pattern as a PDF to iBooks for printing I have to go out and buy the paper format now     Useless and a waste of money

I like the way they have laid out the presentation of the magazine It offers multiple ways of accessing the issues you purchase through the app What it doesnt offer is the ability to view issues you may have purchased from their website This forces you to keep two separate libraries of their magazines           Good app but missing an important part

Really disappointed that the magazine editors chose to reformat the whole magazine in landscape which creates unnecessary work for them and gives no benefits It makes no sense to me that each pattern story has all of the patterns start one after another in a massive page down format instead of each pattern on its own page If you follow a link from the pattern images to the pattern instructions theres no easy way back to where you are I was debating on whether I wanted to move from paper to iPad version of the magazine and the answer is no Id rather get the PDF version that they sell on the site and actually have it display correctly on my tablet     Landscape is terrible

I agree with Kristen Interweave now that youve got an app its time for you to follow Vogue Knittings lead and many others by allowing access to the digital edition to those of us who are print subscribers           Access for print subscribers

The newest issue has been out for over two weeks in print with no update to app Contacted app support a week ago and still no reply     Wheres the new issue

I havent experienced any problems This is my favorite knitting magazine I was a little skeptical at first because flipping through my new issues with a cup of coffee in hand was always a special treat just for me I couldnt imagine it getting any better But this format IS so much better Always with me doesnt take up any more space in my bag and best of all when I see an advert or product Id like to know more about it is just a click within the app away Love it                 Love it

My subscription is active through apple but the summer edition is not here It is available through zinio and already out in print Why dont we have ours Do we need a refund and then go through zinio     Subscription active

I was surprised to find that there was no access given to print subscribers Very disappointing and not what my other many many magazine subsciptions are doing I hope they change it because otherwise its worthless to m as I cant justify paying fo two subscriptions for the same material     No access for print subscribers

I initially purchased my subscription via zinio then for some reason switched to itunes When this subscription period ends its back to zinio New issues are not available for download immediately upon release The summer issue has been out for two weeks on zinio and through the interweave website but nothing on the iTunes newsstand Not acceptable The same goes for all the magazines I subscribed to Will return to zinio and its faster access     Faster access with zinio

This is a good knitting magazine However their customer support is nonexistent Do not even try to contact them They never respond I have both print and digital subscriptions Both are bought and paid for separately Interweave does not offer the digital as a perk when you buy the print subscription Vogue Knitting does offer this I receive my print subscription promptly However I have been unable to receive or download my digital subscription Even though my iTunes account shows that my subscription goes through the next year I cannot find how to download the latest issue Online I see the suggestion to go through Zinio BUT my subscription is brought through Apple And when I try to get the new issue I get the message that I must first subscribe Is there someone who I can tell I am already subscribed     Good magazine but

The magazine is fine It appears you cannot PRINT the patterns I subscribed for one year and cannot cancel Very very disappointed        Printing

I have a current magazine subscription and yet when I go to this app to access the digital magazine so I can use the pattern on my iPad it says that I am supposed to spend 699 for the very magazine that I have at home What good is this app other than for looking at the covers of the magazines I already have at home If one has a subscription to this magazine and cannot access the magazines that they have already purchased then what is the PURPOSE of this app at all     Really Id give this ZERO stars if I could

Until I a print subscriber can access issues through this app without incurring additional costs no other improvements will matter                 Unimpressed

I have both Knits and SpinOff on the Zinio App I like newsstand and the ability to keep all my subscriptions in my iTunes account There is no way to move them over to the newsstand app or even get the upcoming issues to come to this app Existing subscriber support would be a major plus        what about the my zinio subscription

I dont know if this is up to the magazine or if its an issue with the newsstand in general but it would be helpful to have SOME idea of what this issues projects are Interweave stuff is pretty fabulous always but still I dont usually decide on a publication like this based on the cover           Previews
