Inky Mail

I found out about this app doing a search for best email clients for iOS I must say Im pretty impressed The interface is very clean and modern and the sorting feature works great for me My main gripe is how notifications work They usually come in pretty late That may be on my end I have about 1400 unread emails at the moment but that wasnt an issue with the iOS mail app The start time is much longer compared to the iOS app It wont make me stop using the app by any means but those are some definite areas for improvement Overall a great app with the potential to be excellent              Solid App

Ive liked and enjoyed Inky every since it first surfaced great looking UI exceptional functionality with very intelligent features Yet it doesnt live up to its hype In fact it very disappointingly continues to fail update after update I truly think the developers are working hard to change thingsI get the sense however that they lack the understanding as how to resolve the many issues that seem to plague the app such as slow log ins choppy and lagged performance very confusing and overburdening mail set up as well as a host of bugs that cause the app to close In the end it seems like a lot of promises are made that actually are genuine However I think its finally time for them to abandon ship on this one No hope ever seems to be in sight Two stars is all I can ever must up for this debacle        Great potential but lacks greatly

To connect to gmail account the email settings have to be set to reduced security Google recommends instead using an email app made by Google Not sure if just Google trying to maintain a monopoly though Otherwise this email client is great Ability to sort by sender instead of subject of message is really helpful for managing clients of my small business              Requires less secure gmail setting

It has a tendency to close when sent to the background and take a long while to restart 5 minutes or more Ive noticed that whenever the app does not have focus it generally doesnt fetch any mail I went almost 3 days without it actually pulling in any of my mail Very expensive good idea and nice interface but sluggish and unreliable performance        Closes a lot takes a long time to load

Dont waste your money or time App kept crashing when trying to write emails or fill in the address Zero support from inky     Waste of time

Love the UI but the startup time needs to decrease significantly It stays on the startup splash screen for too long unlike other email clients Make it quicker and Ill be happy to give you 5 stars              Really like the app

This is the best mail app Ive used on iOS and OSX Everything syncs great between devices There is nothing I can complain about for the iOS version                 Best Mail App Ever

It utilizes functions that I never thought existed It puts everything that can be unsubscribed into a separate folder                 I really like this app

The UI is very nice and overall it functions like it should but the mobile app and the desktop app NEVER sync properly Messages just get lost for no discernible reason ever after being marked as important and moved to another folder Deleted mail is suddenly undeleted Its a great mail client in theory but in practice it just point blank does not work        I really want to love this app

The Inky app keeps crashing whenever I attempt to setup email via IMAP Plus theres no way to go back while setting up an account to edit configuration details Just next and cancel buttons Very user unfriendly     Buggy and Poor Interface

I have too much email to use the normal app This is much better Areas for improvement include more consistently accurate and rapid downloading of emails from various accounts and easier way to choose which account you are sending email from              Great app I use a lot

This is THE only greatlooking unifiedinbox service I just wish the desktop app for Windows was as fast as the mobile app Being able to respond from the proper email account in one inbox is awesome The desktop app is unusable however its that slow and clunky so Im forced to use Postbox Please make that more zippy and Ill gladly switch back and even pay money                 Beautiful Functional Fast

So I installed across all of my devices I love that I have a shared experience across all of my devices Over the last week or so any time I try to log into the app on either of my IOS devices it crashes and says critical error there is next to no documentation concerning these errors        Great desktop poor mobile experience

Splitting of the different feeds is a boon Would be good to get more color options andor color which standout to differentiate between different accounts Ive connected 7 accounts so far having better differentiation would be a nice to have Along with different skins However none of them are deal breakers One star taken away for having to store acct info with Inky Servers All in all a great app Keep up the good work              Interesting App

Prior to finding inky I was in the midst of a nasty divorce My life was so disorganized that my wife was on the way out But then I found inky Through this application I found in my life structure and balance My wife and I are in therapy and are expecting our fifth child Thank you inky for helping me turn my life around                 Buy it

Kept getting error message when trying to import contacts The menu is not as clean as it should be Hard to tell which emails are new With a couple of tweeks though it could be a very nice app     jb rating

I have been using Inky for several months now on both mobile and desktop The interface is excellent everything is synced across platforms and adding multiple accounts is a breeze Highly recommended for anyone who wants a visually pleasing client or wants to bring some organization to their myriad email addresses                 Great Email Client

Ive used Inky on and off the last few years Each time it keeps getting better Only reason why its not a five star is the updating Its slow to update emails and Ive found myself having to update it manually              Great look and getting better

Best email app out there in my opinion Does everything I need it to do and more It sorts all my mail for me so I dont have to I can just use the filtered view all day long to see the emails that matter the most to me Great work                 Great app

I tested this app for my Outlook email accounts and it duplicates all my messages The inbox is only entered once Seems buggy Going with other apps        Subpar app

Ugly icon Infrequent notifications no true push No notification options per section ie Unified vs personal vs social You can only pick one Menu selection difficult to navigate No attachment handling Just too clunky for everyday use        Cumbersome layout and clunky

Everything was fine until I tried to add my jobs Exchange account it wouldnt work If you have an Exchange account according to the developer it will not work so I really cant use it looks promising once they add Exchange        Doesnt support Microsoft Exchange

I bought this app thinking it would solve my email issues But far from it I found the interface and layout confusing and lacking features that I hoped for And it didnt filter my email properly either The predefined filtering categories are ok if thats where your email actually went But it still lacks the ability to create new filters unique to your needs It also lacks the ability to select all of your emails to mass delete or file or archive at one timeyou have to manually select your emails And when you have 100 emails hitting your email box everydaynot having this feature is a killer deal The feature which is supposed to allow you to unsubscribe from email lists also doesnt work For 10 this app should work flawlessly Instead Im forced to look elsewhere and to probably free apps which work better but still not offer all the features a poweremailer needs Overall very disappointed and a refund was requested        Disappointing

Update 731 Inky team is not interested to correct all these bugs for a highly paid app Worst email client Ouch Not at all worthy as a free app Will it be a paid one though 1 Notifications for IMAP email is not at all working 2 very slow downloading and synching emails Not even downloaded single email after 48 hours the same is done in seconds by another apps Not worthy to have this app as paid one Deleted from my device even though I paid for it Humble request dont think to go for it Gosh app price increased to 10 now     Wasted my 5

This app is a must have for anyone with multiple mailboxes                 Best unified inbox app ever

Takes forever to load email Unified inbox just skips emails to display Had real hope for this app as they support pop but it turned out to be a 10 scam Im going to be seeking a refund        Clunky and slow as hell

Ok mail app and has potential Like the single log in for all email and the new UI is very nice App is getting better but still has some flaws and forces me to keep my Apple Mail app for reliable notifications I do open this app when I need to add an attachment to an email due to Apple Mails limitations Wish this was my goto Mail app EXTREMELY SLOW loading times on startup and refreshing mail inboxes Often it takes several seconds until my inbox refreshes Probably my biggest complaint of this app and a huge nuisance Improvements Still no PUSH NOTIFICATIONS and background updates are extremely slow even after using and opening often Needs to update more or its not really user friendly even after checking mail often I do not receive all my notifications 6 with iOS 8 Scrolling could be slightly more smooth and not stop as abruptly Nice to havecalendar and reminders integrated in one app Crashes when trying to attach a document from iCloud Like to see color dot or option for avatar in unified inbox Makes it easier to find emails quickly Please make this an all in one app Love the look of this app over others        Save your money and dont buy

Looks great search is fast and Inky server loads your messages for you so your App can show them faster I also love the fact that all your configurations are set once and for all the platforms you use To get 5 starts it is only missing custom labels custom filters and notifications set by folders I am cheering for it              Best Multi Platform Email Client App

Ive used inky for about 2 years now and overall it does what it is supposed tomanage multiple emails from a single platform with relative ease It has some annoying bugs especially with autoformatting of texts it has an infuriating habit of deleting line breaks so that youre sign off ends up attached to your last paragraph Even with these minor glitches however it is by far the best email client I have ever used and I often recommend it to people It is easy to use and sorts emails quite cleanly              Lesser of many evils

Subject says it all so its basically inusable at the moment     Cant login or create account on iOS9

Love the simplicity and organizational elements of this mail app Makes it easy to delete groups of emails that are unimportant I deleted 1600 emails in my in box intelligently without losing important mail in about an hour Pretty cool Swiping actions are fast and awesome too on individual email sorting                 Awesome Mail

I really want to like abs use this app but it is very slow when pulling in emails The app is slow on opening and even slower to load older emails           Good app very slow loading
