This would be a great app Instead it takes forever to load it doesnt delete the default feeds that come with the app which are in German and dont bother trying to add your feeds because the app never uploads anything     I was hoping
Poorly tested before release App is loaded with problems from feeds not refreshing to very slow performance Only plus is its free     bugs bugs and more bugs
Im very much hoping the author changes one or two things in the interface and fixes a couple of bugs and if that were to happen this could well displace Pulse as my preferred newsreader app even to the point Id pay for it I like the newspaper layout it creates from stories more than the thumbnailplusasentence format in Pulse and fully expect that the time it takes to create the newspaper layout can be improved possibly the stories arent being fetched in parallel threads The division of feeds into sections seems more natural to me than the tabs Pulse uses even though theyre really the same idea Holding the app back the most however are a couple of annoying bugs It doesnt always save changes to the set of feeds entered maybe requiring the Done button pushed although its easy to miss and its insistent on keeping its own starting feeds around even after theyre deleted More difficult to work around is the notion of what comprises a set of stories It appears that a story will only appear in the composition of one paper and although that fits the newspaper metaphor overly well it makes going back to find unread stories clumsy Im planning to keep working with it but a simple change to allow unread stories be forwarded into later editions would solve it Combine that with a search function implement it with a dictionary that links to stories excludes short words and it could stay on disk in conveniently accessible form and this would be a tool Id want on my desktop too              Could become a real winner
