My only complaint would be is that there were better brushes I dont care for the 3 that it came with But I mean I sure if I was better with my penmanship that wouldnt be an issue              Super easy and lightweight

iFont Maker is my favorite app on my ipad I am not a typographerjust a crafter This app is perfect for making fonts for scrap bookingbut can do so much more But my favorite thing about it I have used it every year for over 3 years to capture my young girls handwriting Then we use their handwriting font to write our Christmas letters I am glad to see the developers updating it again Thank you                 Fav app on my ipad

It would be nice if there were a template for a Korean font              No Hangul

This Is worth every penny and drop that I spent on it I had so much fun with this that Im using this business now so I can actually make my own fonts and items for graphic design Its so nice because I can she write my name on my Tshirts from a graphic Tshirt company Who ever made this youre amazing five stars all the way I would like to see in the future an ability to put a image in the background to trace your own handwriting besides AMAZING                 Worth it

I cannot believe I have neglected leaving a rating for this app for so long My apologies to the developer for not doing anything to return the favor of the pleasure you have given It is terrific and the possibilities are amazing This is one of my earliest purchases and first of many Ah ha moments I have had with my iPad I made my living as a designer and I suppose that being a designer is a rather chronic condition we never really recover I can remember the olden days when accomplishing the feat of making ones own font required a tremendous amount more of time and experience Now you can use the fonts you make with a number of art and typography apps UTTERLY AMAZING Thank you                 Terrific

I was eager to try this app out after I heard they were going to add Bezier support but Im really disappointed in the bezier tool Its cumbersome and doesnt seem to follow the standard operations and functionality of bezier tools found in other vector apps like iDraw Would be nice if they also supported importing SVG vectors from other apps to use as starting point        Disappointment

The app is fabulous and I really do love it However a few adjustments will make it a 5 star app Firstly it needs to work in Portrait AND Landscape Right now only portrait For those of us that have keyboards like ZAGG for our iPads working in portrait is unacceptable Secondly it needs and eraser tool and multiple undo features More help files would be nice as well so that we know how to use this fabulous app Hoping that the developer will add these adjustments and make this a 5 star app I am not sure it does what it states as I have a ZAGG keyboard and its difficult to remove my iPad from itas its only portrait mode                 Really Love It But Needs A Couple Adjustments

I am am in LOVE with this app I have made a ton of my own fonts and use them on every worksheet and flier I create I am a kindergarten teacher and create my own lessons for sale and being able to create and use my own fonts has helped me glide right past the buying and crediting of other peoples fonts in my work I am often asked to share my fonts and I recommend this app every chance I get Thank you for creating such a quality app It is worth every penny                 AppMazing

I really want to love this app And at the price I was hoping there would be more customization as far as brushes go Theres only 4 different types and you can only edit the size of it I would love it if you could adjust the angle and tip shape and have some sample brush settings           Its good

I just updated this app then opened it to check out the new stuff I transferred over my fonts and then it crashed Every time I opened it it crashed I even tried deleting the app and redownloading it It started working I tested it out a bit and then it crashed And now EVERY TIME I open it it crashes Please fix this This could be a good update I just wont know until I can actually run it              Great App But Crashes

I love this app so easy to use and fun BUT whenever I put two fingers down to try to move my letter the app quits out I dont know why BUT ITS FRUSTRATING           FIX THE CRASHING

This is worth ever penny I spent on I have been searching the Internet for a font maker and all the ones I have found cost over 100 I got an iPad Mini for Christmas and a 20 iTunes gift card and after buying a few apps I came to this I love it because I can create a font wherever I am and make it look however I want in a matter of minutes I have already made two fonts and have them on my computer Also I was really hesitant to buy the app so you should make a lite version so people can test it before spending their money Thank you so much for making this app                 BEST APP EVER

This app has some potential Id like more control over kerning and letter spacing There are so many fonts that look good at first but suffer from bad spacing Also an eraser and more brushes would allow for much more precision The nudge tool is almost useless and Id really rather a tool that lets me control the outlines of the strokes or create an object by drawing points For something quick that might be for personal use once or twice its not a bad app Easy to figure out really If youre looking for something to create a well constructed font to pass on to a client Id recommend looking elsewhere until this program can refine its precision           Potential

I have wanted my own font for some time but it was either a pain to make on PC or pricey to have someone else make it So when I saw this app I was really excited I have tried the few other true font making apps out there before shelling out the for this one this one blows them away Truly my only requests are a paste function so that I can import from another app that I find easier to write in and an eraser There is a feature to adjust spacing and there are adequate instructions My 12year old daughter figured out how to save her font so that I could email it later Check out the website if you need some more help           Best available Wish it got updated

This app is simply amazing Not only it does exactly what its supposed to do it does it in a way that a 4 yearold kid could understand I need to publish in German and Spanish and I have all the needed symbols I would give it 10 stars if it were possible                 May I kiss the developer

I just bought this about 15 minutes ago and have already created 2 entire fonts calligraphy one italic one roman I would usually wait to review something until Id really used an app thoroughly just to make sure there arent any annoying design elements not apparent at first blush but even if I never discover any more functionality than just this first examination its already proved that its worth the low price of 7 bucks Its super easy to use you really can create a font in 5 minutes Ive done lots of lettering but havent been too excited to do anything digitally got a stylus but havent been very satisfied with using it on any iPad drawing apps ProCreate Paper etc So I approached this with trepidation And was delighted at how much fun it was and how good the results are As another reviewer states fontgenerating software is either free and sucky or over 100 for the lame featurepoor ones and even more for the good ones Im so thrilled to have found this                 Fantastic

Good app BUT ADD FONTS FOR THE IPAD        Good

Whenever I see an update for an application that I own I always like to wait until some new reviews are in before I update With this new update there were no new reviews to let me know if it was a good idea or not to upgrade the app But I just have to say that I am overjoyed that I took the chance and upgraded Everything that worked wonderfully about the application still works at least on my device it does So that is good news in my opinion But the new stuff that was added is just awesome Playing around with the new Bezier Tool oh my gosh something I never knew I wanted but now that I have it I wish it had always been an option It helps you to design font letters numbers characters etcetera in a way you previously couldnt at least not without a lot of tiresome effort Also there are new shapes available like stars and hearts and a few others I havent tried those out yet but they look like they will be a lot of fun to help you design your fonts You also get new line brushes which I just love the newest editions You get one brush that has an uneven stroke and I think it can help you create some really cool font designs I didnt count how many new brushes but I think it is like four or five new ones along with those fun shapes I havent found or figured out yet how to do the image and animated GIF export but just the prospect of that is super exciting to me Im sure they are in there though I just got so excited and wanted to leave my new review that I havent had much time to check out the entire list of new features Also just the app in general looks really good I think I really could tell they reworked the design but still kept it familiar Well I am off back into the app to explore the new features and design a new font If you were like me and hesitant to update I would say dont be because I think the new features are just killer My sincere thanks and gratitude to the developer for all of the time effort and hard work that you no doubt put into refining polishing and reworking things for this superb update I do wish though that this wonderful application could please be Universal so that I could use it on my iPhone as well please thank you Thanks again for this stellar update and God bless iPad Air 2 iOS 83 Edit 062115 I just figured out how the new Export image and Export animated GIF function works I love it When you have created fonts and you are using the Preview function where you type in characters to see what your font looks like In that window in the bottom right corner there is that share icon that you see throughout Apple devices It is that icon with the square and the upward arrow pointing out the top of it Anyways when you click that you get the option to export a static image and also export an animated GIF file though I wish there was a Save Image option in that share menu and not just the Email and social network share options But once you have typed more than one letter in the Preview window and if you then share it as an animated GIF It will then create a GIF with every letter that youve typed so far in the Preview window and animate them one after another I think its really awesome and a superb way to showcase what your created font looks like to other people So thanks a lot for these wonderful new options                 Outstanding Update To An Incredible App

Very good app I missed an ability to control the kerning of each font and also the ability to draw ligatures That would make it perfect                 Love it

Ive been using your app for sometime now and really enjoy the easy of use and flexibility it offers for creative professionals like myself Feature request I think would be beneficial to the app are Ability to work in landscape Select a stroke and to change the width and the type of brush stroke applied to it A fill tool for areas that need to be solid Zoom tool Import an image to trace Auto trace tool Other than this a great tool If you are a creative professional or person who enjoys creating things youd like it I highly recommend it So simple a manual is almost overkill to know how to use it Just open pick a brush and go           Great app

This app is what all font apps should be like I was unpleasantly surprised when I tried to make a font on my Mac Im an artist and I distinctly remember a time when making a font was simple and easy to do It seems to be that all good apps are now charging 400 or bogging down their software with buggy features I cant imagine a smoother or more beautiful simple intuitive way to craft a font I have no doubt that if the effort was put in a designer could go through the entire process just in this app I would like to see support for other kinds of fonts and perhaps also some cursive guides Other Han that this is perfection                 Worth every penny

I chose the option to migrate my previous projects with the updated version of this app but now it wont open Disappointed because I really enjoyed the app before the update     Wont open

Your app needs simple tweek to let me write with my stylus at size similar to a piece of paper I am not able to accurately reproduce my personal handwriting when i have to draw a 6 letter Please update this feature and i will change me rating to 5 As it is i payed full and the app does not do what it suggested it could do Help        Note to developer

Needs zooming and the ability of importing images so I can draw the letters in an easier to use program and import them in a transparent png file or something Letters are hard to scale and has only undo no eraser I hope they make future improvements It could be a much better program It is pretty difficult to use and I use my ipad for drawing constantly        Works but not easy

I enjoyed being able to create fonts with the first version of this app it is the only typecreation tool on the App Store but without bezier tools it was difficult to use The previous update added Bezier but crashed constantly This update fixes that for me                 Much better now

I downloaded this app to create my own font for my wedding invitations But I have been playing with it so much making new fonts it has become addictive I have also been letting my daughter make fonts she is practicing her handwriting and loves that there is a helper letter to trace and I also like having a record of her handwriting at a young age Easy to use fun to play with and well worth the money                 Amazingly fun

And no retina display support     Still no updates

BritCo app recommended this app highly so I decided to buy it Unfortunately there seems to be ZERO instructions I traced all the letters and numbersbut I have no idea what to do now What do I do with these handwritten letters sorry I just need a demo or something I feel like this was a waste of money Sarah Wilson     Need instructions

Really great app Wish some of the controls had more precise adjusters such as step up and step down buttons for stroke width slider can be tricky to get exactly the setting you want              Great app

I was expecting a limited tool for sketching typefaces like stick figures but the fact that you can control the size of the brush and the pen makes it a serious thing for someone who wants to put down typeface ideas quickly or just for fun The ability to generate fonts on the site is just the icing on the cake Really satisfied with this My only request would probably be the entire unicode support                 Pleasantly surprised

Im so glad to find this amazing app that allows designers and type addicts create their own fonts in a matter of minutes As someone who has tried other font making programs I was very disappointed to find out that they are really made only for serious type designers and too complex for the rest of us I hope you guys keep updating this app in the future I would love to see more controls added to designing the letters for example a sort of pen tool that can have anchor points for adjusting curves would be really helpful              Its about time

This app used to be confusing to use but it worked Now after the update it keeps crashing on me I only got it to actually open once It did not transfer over my older works in progress I allowed me to create letters up to F and then it crashed again     Used to be useful
