iFit for iPad

Very very disappointed I was blinded by the potential of this being awesome With it being backed by Google and Apple I thought its a no brainier My norditrac states its ifit live compatible and it does download training programs to it but does the app work that apple sold me Nope I spent a lot of money on this sales pitch to only find myself grabbing my ankles while ifit screws me out of a lot of money     SCAM

If you dont have the correct equipment you cant use the app Absolute waste of money     NO STARS

Yes it says this in the app description However when you are buying the module itself this is not clear All the store signage looks awesome Buy this treadmill oh but also buy this module oh also subscribe to this service and only then realize none of the stuff actually works together FAIL     Not compatible with iFit module

Just not worth at all I was enthusiastic since I have some Ifit equipment at home Do not recommend it     Too expensive

bought app entered IP address and hit connect the thing will not connect found list of compatible machines and my treadmill is not on there I want my money back not up front with compatible machines misleading     I fit for iPad

When a company tells you to reinstall or not use the app they are giving up This APP is exactly that It is a failure The sad part is that it is a great idea with zero execution     Simply does not work

My bike has an ifit module but this app will not connect to the bike So this app is utterly worthless to me     Make SURE it supports your machine

This app is incredible The morons that are giving this 1 star are doing so because they didnt look to see if their machine was compatible This simplifies iFit and increases your screen size The user friendly controls the larger screen size and the mobile management of the iPad make this a must for any iFit user Well worth the price                 Amazing

Theres so much that this app could do but its hampered by such poor execution that you should stay far far away from it If the exorbitant price isnt enough read the rest of the reviews before buying It doesnt even support last years treadmill models so check carefully whether it even supports your device It wont work at all if it doesnt     Absolute waste of money

Doesnt sync well with info on your desktop ifit version If you lo ose wifi connection with your treadmill while running your info will be lost     Do not purchase

I love this app once I was able to figure out how everything worked There are no good directions anywhere on getting set up but once you figure it out it is well worth it I have a Nordic Track 5700 from Sears and I knew it was ipad compatible This is a great way to stay motivated to work out and you can see the world from your own home The only thing that needs fixing is that when I use the iFit app I cannot play the music in my itunes folder through my treadmill speakers But really thats no big deal I will either get a wireless Bose or wireless headphones              I Love It

2400 for unfinished Beta version software Nothing works properly freezes and shuts down frequently Stick to the website this is junk     Beware

False advertising by iFit and Apple My new Freemotion 250U stationary bike with iFit doesnt work with this app The app wont even connect to the IP address for the bike     IFit app is worthless

The app may be very good but I mistook my equipment model number and found that mine is not compatible so I guess that was a costly mistake That makes the app less useful than Id hoped since the IP address of my machine is not accepted Live and learn           Caveat emptor Check your machine is compatible

I have a new Nordic Track X9i trainer and this app is worthless It connects to the machine just fine but it WILL randomly crash and disconnect from the machine and effectively ending your workout And you dont get any credit for the time that you already put in I hope you read this review before you buyDont waste your money I just wish I could get a refund     Very expensive and totally worthless

The only thing that works correctly is how quickly they shut everything down when your membership expires     Ifit is a wreck

This app synced up with my Commercial 1750 quickly and easily and generally works well But there are a few issues that I have with it For one it doesnt count calories burned at the same rate as my treadmill though it is linked to the same account where my information is stored Also though you can control speed you have limited control over the incline function so if you are treading across flat terrain but want to increase calorie burn by raising the incline the treadmill after a few seconds or any change of aspect will go back down on its own The speed control function works differently as well When I try to increase speed by onetenth increments it will change by threetenth so or fivetenths which is annoying           A couple of problems

It does work with my nordictrack c1630 pro even thought its not on the list of compatible machines before I paid the 20 for this I contacted nordictrack just to make sure Its pretty cool but unless you buy the ifit gold member its pretty useless all it basically does is makes your iPad control your machine you dont get to run on the maps there again you have to UPGRADE to premium Money pit           It works with c1630 pro

Two issues One is that when Im running using the iPad on a street level view and I try to slow down using the treadmill button next to the heart reminder handle the treadmill speeds up to 10 mph Im forced to adjust the speed using the slider on the iPad screen Also isnt the treadmill supposed to incline when I run over a bridge or hill on a route I created Or is that only on the programmeddownloaded routes Those are the only two issues keep it from being five stars Do your research you must have an iFit enabled or iFit compatible machine dont give the app a bad rating because you dont know how to follow instructions or read It works great and is the future of home fitness              Great app Do research though

Purchased Nordictrac 950C Set it up on wifi and entered the ISP Address avid machine cannot be found Even though the machine selling point is that it ifit compatible Bought the wifi adapter and this app for a total of 120 huge fail the app is not compatible with my machine Disappointed and will b     Application is Garbage

I just bought my wife a new elliptical from Pro Form that this app does not support also not compatible as a stand alone devise on a non Pro Form piece of equipment So I really can not even judge the quality of the app Really Pro Form     Read App description first

Save your money Nowhere near a 5star app as some reviewers contend The app will not connect to any of the google maps on my schedule except those that Ive programmed myself It gives me a message that it cant connect to my treadmill and to check my IP address which was input correctly The evidence being it connects fine when I connect to a map that Ive created myself I could live with this except for the fact that it CONSTANTLY CRASHES after setting out on a walkjog Maybe after a quarter mile maybe two The worse part is it doesnt save your information where you left off or how far youve gone And to make matters worse the app doesnt allow you to go back to the point where you were on the google map when it crashed You have to start back at the beginning which is very frustrating I wouldnt be SO put off if I could quickly retrace my steps back to the point the app crashed Save your money and use the smaller screen on your treadmill Not worth the frustrations     Keeps crashing AFTER setting out on a walk or jog

Do not waster your money poor application     Bad application

I was very excited to get this since my elliptical is iFit enabled and it seemed to setup very easily Unfortunately using it is a much different experience It will crash during every workout losing all my progress It will not reestablish connection without starting a new workout the online server still shows zero workouts after 6 full workouts which it crashed in and everything it changes my incline to zero it raises the machine to a full 25 degrees and I have recalibrated the incline twice already Dont let iFit influence your decision for purchasing equipment Im going to give support one more call and after that this app and my new elliptical are getting returned or listed on craigslist     Simply horribly written much to go

This app only works with a select few machines so be VERY careful when purchasing We purchased the proform Tour de France bike enabled with ifit Along with the bike came a brochure urging us to download this app to use with our new piece of workout equipment Big mistake and a total waste of 20 since this app is NOT compatible with the Tour de France bike Shame on ifit and proform for being so shady with your marketing     Total rip off

No problem connecting it to my treadmill Unfortunately the snap to roads feature in Maps does not work So unless you want to have routes that take you over buildings Id skip this app        Features dont work

1 app crashes most times several minutes into a premium map run you cant go back to where you left off just have to start over My own routes seem to work fine 2 lets say you get a premium map to work for a period of time try the Florence Italy run They combine pictures of two passes of the Google van Not a big deal except that one is in what seems to be the morning and its sunny outside and the other seems to be in the afternoon and its overcast So try running down a street with it being sunnyshadysunnyshady Very distracting not worth even trying My own routes though are fine 3 running through Florence and New York premium maps they use the images from the backward facing camera on the van so its as if youre running down the middle of the street into traffic thats moving backwards Yeah thats logical Its as if the geeks that put this together have never gotten out of their chairs to walk down the street so they dont know hat it is supposed to look like Very disappointed in the execution Great idea on paper but fails in the hands of the users     Crashes and premium maps a joke

One of the reasons we bought a NordicTrack VR Pro exercise bike is that the iFit would work with our iPads during the workout and came with a complimentary year membership to iFit It took me several days to get the iFit module configured and working only to find out that our model is not compatible with the iPad app On the plus side the iFit module does work as advertised linking to the workouts created on iFit and going through it But I will not continue the membership to iFit as customizing workouts is not worth it        Bad sales gimmick

This App is always giving me download error Its not reliable This app was the major decision point to make me buy this Proform product Because of the download errors I will have to return the subject Proform product Dont they test their app with the actual product that will be using it     iFit for the Proform Thinline Pro Desk series
