I downloaded this app to use on a drumset I just restored This being my first time EVER tuning a drumset I needed a tuner for precision to make up for the lack of ear training After reading up on tuning and getting advice from fellow musicians I got to work This app gets the job done I knew what frequencies I needed to tune each drum to so the rest was just making sure I captured those frequencies with this app It works great with the mic on my iPhone5 It may randomly pick up some lower tones but that had more to do with me sometimes touching the drumhead accidentally or striking it wrong during tuning Best for tuning basics

It was hard to get an accurate reading but its free and does what it says it will Meh
